This is a fun sexy quick read. It is a short story and I would have liked it to be longer. The chemistry between Michael and Kelsey is good. The story moves along at a brisk pace with a nice ending. Enjoy this quick read.

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were so lifelike, and the descriptions were detailed. So much detail that the book draws you in and doesn't let go until the last word. Kelsey is so realistic that she could be your best girlfriend, and Michael is the "unicorn".
I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

A great introduction to this author. Once I got to know the characters and found myself cheering for them to be together.

Submissive woman is concerned that her dom boyfriend is cheating on her with a starlet he’s auditioning with.
Interesting that this isn’t a meet-cute romance; this couple is already together. But then it is a novella.
Despite some fun S&M stuff and Hollywood problems, the frame of the story just didn’t hold together. The plot was barely enough to sustain the story until the abrupt ending, as if the author wanted to get it over with. Not only was it resolved too easily, but they didn’t really earn that happily ever after anyway.
2.5 pushed up to 3/5

Michael is a short, sexy little story. Unfortunately it's too short, though, to allow the story to develop at a natural pace, thus the connection between Michael and Kelsey doesn't quite gel for me.

Michael is an up and coming actor who has secured an audition for a movie that take his career to the big time. He finds out, though, that the movie will require him to film some full on nude love scenes with a fake blonde bimbo of an actress, Samantha Collins, who's set on breaking Kelsey and Michael up because she wants him for herself. Can Michael and Kelsey's relationship make it through this movie? Can Kelsey not give into her insecurities, insecurities instilled in her by two previous cheating exes, who were also actors that fell for their leading ladies?

While I did like Michael and Kelsey, and their D/s relationship in the bedroom was hot, I didn't get much else between them. The requisite ILY's weren't exchanged until near the end, even though they had been in a relationship for a year, and their connection just didn't seem very strong to me. I think it was heading there, but because of the shortness of this story, it wasn't allowed to reach that strength required for me to really see their connection.

Michael had potential, and it's certainly sexy, but the short format didn't do it any favors. If it were ever expanded into a full length novel, I'd definitely read it, though.

This book I was unsure of when opening it up. However, within the first couple of pages I was hooked. Michael and Kelsey are a couple who your are pulling for to make it from page one. Michael is an up and coming actor in Hollywood and Kelsey has been hurt twice by guys like him. With this big break and leading lady in the film that will not take no for an answer can their relationship survive? Do they have their happy ever after? This is a short read, so pick up a copy today to find out the answers

I really liked this fast-paced read. Michael and Kelsey have great chemistry; however, Kelsey has a lot of baggage from her past relationship. Can she learn to trust her Dom? Entertaining and steamy read.

This is a very short story. It actually has a backstory other than the Dom story line. Michael is a new actor trying to get his big break. Along comes a movie that will kick his career into orbit. However, it comes with a grabby leading lady that won't take no for an answer. In most cases this would not be an issue. However, Michael is in a committed relationship with Kelsey. Kelsey has trust issues so Michael has to walk a tight rope to keep her and his movie career. The story is good and the BDSM scenes are sexy but not over the top. Good mixture of story and erotic scenes.

Michael, Doms of the Silver Screen Book 1, Marie Tuhart

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: Erotica, Romance

My bad: I saw Hollywood, romance, erotica and BDSM and I love any/all of those so clicked without checking further.
But its just 65 pages, yep, short story time, and for me they just don't work. Too much to compress in too short a space for me.

I liked Michael, seemed a responsible Dom, and Kelsey needs to trust him, but given her past that's hard.
Its his job though, his career, and she can't (and doesn't of course) expect him to limit what he does to suit her confidence. She either trusts him or doesn't.

The press, all the things I love to hate in a story ;-) along with the wonderful, scheming, manipulative co-star.
If this was a full length book I think I'd have really enjoyed it, but its so short there's not really time to go into any of the people or plots in any detail. Scarcely has a potential issue arisen than its over, done and dusted, and though that's great for many its not for me.
I need books I can really lose myself in, plots I can really get my teeth into, emotion that pulls at me and makes me feel as if everything is real.
Novellas, short stories just don't have the time to do that, and that's why I usually avoid them.

Like I said , my bad- it's not the book it's me.

Stars: Two, just too short for me though as full length I think I'd love it.

Lovely light BDSM love story.

I have only recently discovered Marie Tuhart and I'm so glad I did. I loved the relationship she created for Michael and Kelsey. It's loving, fun, sexy everything you'd want. I think the plot was well developed and interesting.
I look forward to reading the next book in the Doms of the Silver Screen series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy I received from NetGalley.
