After reading part 1 of this series and the cliffhanger ending I just had to read part 2. In this part, Daisy decides what she is going to do with the railway and starts to make the place a little bit cleaner and well useful. I love the idea for the railway and I would most definitely visit a place like this.

Again this is a short book and I read it over only a few hours but Bella manages to pack a lot in only 100 pages. There are many threads and characters involved. I am starting to come around to Max. He's not exactly the most tactful but I think his heart is in the right place.
I really love Bugsy too. He is such a funny dog and manages to get himself into such situations

I am very intrigued as to what happened with Daisy's Mother. A mystery I am sure will be resolved in the next 2 parts.

This book again ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to jump back in with part 3

I enjoyed the first part of this new series based on Ottercombe Bay so I was really keen to read the second book and I think it is better than the first!

In this book Daisy is starting to build up and develop her relationships so we get to see a more genuine and kinder side of her now she is starting to settle back in, but she does still have one enemy - Bugsy Malone!! I am loving the scene setting and the location is one I would LOVE to visit!!

Four stars for this one from me and looking forward to the third and fourth parts!

This is the second installment of the Ottercombe Bay series, all four are available in one book called Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay. Daisy decides to use the building she inherits as a pub and has the help and backing of her friends and the village. Max and Daisy are growing closer but she is still strongly in favor of leaving after her year in Ottercombe Bay. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Oh, if possible I enjoyed this one even more than the first! I feel like in this second instalment we got to know the characters so much better and I loved reading more about them and their pasts in the cute little village. The story follows on from the first cliff hanger and I was racking my brains to try and come up with a solution with who could do such a thing to Daisy!

I am enjoying this series - a little bit of mystery, a gin bar and the seaside - what is there not to like.

I loved this book and eagerly awaited the next segment of the story.

A surprise inheritance, lovely cast of characters, gorgeous location and a pug named Bugsy Malone make this a brilliant read. I was engrossed from part 1 and really loved the whole book.

Highly recommended - perfect holiday read or sunday afternoon on the sofa.

I am a fan of the authors work and was thrilled to receive this book from the publisher and Net Galley for review. My opinions are my own. This is part two of the Ottercombe Bay series. The first book ended on cliffhanger and I was anxious to read this next in series. The series is delightful, light hearted and a fun read. The author has a pleasing writing style and brings the characters to life.
Daisy Wickens has inherited an old railway station ticket office and waiting room from her Uncle Reg located in the Dorset village of Ottercombe Bay. Daisy lived here as a child until the mysterious death of her mother. The catch for her now is that to inherit what Daisy has coming to her she first needs to live in the Bay for 12 months.
She is reeling from the events in the first book and still unhappy at her predicament.
In this part two Daisy comes up with a plan for the station. She then finds out her arch enemy might not be so bad and becomes closer to her. As she builds a life here she finds out she may like to live here after all. She is making friends and integrating into the life on the bay with ease. This leaves many possibilities for her in book three .

I enjoyed the characters, the location and the story. This is the perfect afternoon read and I look forward to the next in series.

In part one, Daisy Wickens had returned to Ottercombe Bay for her uncle’s funeral. She hadn’t planned on sticking around but her uncle had other ideas leaving her a significant inheritance. He’s left her an old building in a state of disrepair but there are many exciting opportunities Daisy could use this building for. The only catch is she must stay in the bay for 12 months.

Part two sees Daisy and her quirky friends deciding what to do with the building. It’s a lovely read that will lead nicely onto part three.

Another episode of the tale of Daisy and her inheritance from her Great Uncle ends on a real cliff hanger which means I need to read part 3 asap! This is such a fun series even though each book is short.

This second part of "Ottercombe Bay" is even better than the first part! This story is full of suspense, full of events, and you just want to know what's going to happen and so you keep turning the pages like if you were mad. This was a short read (around 100 pages), and so I read it in one day. I can't wait to read the 3rd and 4th part to see what's going to happen next with the railway station, with Max and Jason, and with the lost locket and if the main character will found out what happened to her mother. So much things happening in this series! Love it!

I’m not a short story fan so I find books sold in four short parts a bit of a con financially and a bit difficult to engage with

Review: This is a great chic lit book with a hint at romance.

Daisy arrives in Ottercombe under sad circumstances, in part one of Ottercombe Bay which is set in a lovely setting in Devon. Daisy has to stay in Ottercombe Bay to get her hands on her inheritance, for 12 months, surrounded in ghosts from her past. 

A great cast of characters and a great plot. I found after reading part one that I was a little disappointed however I still wanted to read more. I was so glad I did as it gets better. 

I have seen that this book is coming out as one whole piece of work in a book so I will defiantly be re-reading it. 

A lovely read.

This is a very quick, light-hearted read. Still not sure why the book is published in four small parts, rather than one whole book. It's an ok book, but I just find that it is rather slapstick and silly and Daisy seems to move from one potential, but then unfounded, disaster to another. We have the introduction of Max's father into the story in this section. He is portrayed as a 'bad 'un', but I predict that he is probably the mysterious roof repairer. I also predict that Max and Daisy will fall in love. We shall see in part three!

So, I'm on a bit of a reading downer but English countryside romances seem to be okay so when I saw this serialisation available on NetGalley I requested it. Unfortunately, part one was no longer available so I launched straight in at part two.

First off, other then the blurb (which I have only just reread on Goodreads) there is no handy synopsis to remind you of what happened in the first part. But, the gist of it is that Daisy Wickens has inherited an old disused railway station ticket office and waiting room from her Uncle Reg located in the Dorset village of Ottercombe Bay where Daisy lived as a child until the mysterious death of her mother. The only catch is that to inherit the cash Daisy needs to live in the Bay for 12 months. The first book clearly ended on a cliffhanger when Daisy's necklace is stolen from her bedside table.

In this part two Daisy comes up with a plan for the station, finds out her arch enemy might not be so bad and becomes closer to her Aunt Coral's dog Bugsy Malone. The police are no closer to solving the rash of petty thefts in the village, Max's father has returned to the village and Daisy's BFF Tamsin appears to one of the stupidest, most annoying characters EVER.

The second instalment also ends on a cliffhanger. For the avoidance of doubt this is a serialisation and is not a standalone novella.
