This was a sweet romance and an okay read but it was a little slow for me.Rayne and Cassie were a cute couple and were so sweet together. This book would be perfect for a lazy weekend it is worth a read.

In the Moment is a very well written romance. I enjoyed the plot, setting and the characters. I recommend if you enjoy losing yourself in a good book.

I received this ARC copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. So thank you netgalley and publishers.
Im a little conflicted with this book, it was okay, but i expected more. This is my first book from this author, im not sure if i would read from her again, it would have to really really attract me to it. Anyways this is a story about two people trying to get on with their lives. Cassie is working on rebuilding a house, the only house that she felt like she belonged, and Rayne is a photojournalist, he was in the war, and has a lot of guilt. Then there was a story of a druggy man who had been the son of her foster mother, it just felt out of place for me.  I say 2.5-3 stars. It was okay, but I would have rather read something else that would really captivate me like I wish this story would have done, the synopsis was so interesting, but this book just didn't do it for me :/

A good story of two people trying to get on with their lives. Cassie is working on rebuilding the only home she ever felt like she belonged, and Rayne is a photojournalist, who had been over in the war, and has a lot of survivor guilt. Love them together, and enjoyed the book for the most part. Did not like his name, as I kept thinking it was a girl, and the side story of the druggy man who had been the son of her foster-mother felt a little out of place. Other than that though, I highly recommend this story and author. Good book.

Standalone
HEA

I had a hard time staying interested in the book.

I thought he was an ex-con.

How could she not have recognized, as they met an hour ago at most?

Everyone should have a buttinsky best friend.

I'd be the person trapped under the wallpaper too.

This guy is seriously creepy. Go get Rayne, woman!

This is going to end badly. She might say she's okay with a short-term fling, but she's not.

Is the house haunted, because that would explain a lot.

I would have liked to be an archaeologist, or a curator.

Aw, he tried to do a nice, romantic thing and ended up making a mess.

She is way nicer than I'll ever be.

That's a helluva case of survivor's guilt.
