Tandy Graham leaves the army to to look after her son, Scott on the Arizona ranch she inherited after the death of her father. Life becomes quite hostile from the other ranchers after biologist Wyatt returns to track the wolves he released a few years previous.
This is the first book I've read from Roz Denny Fox and would certainly read more from this author. Marrying the rancher is a slow building clean romance with a hit of suspense and fans of Mills and Boon Cherish will love it.

This book is about Tandy and Wyatt, Tandy is a single mum with a son, while Wyatt is a biologist who is married to his job. Wyatt doesn't want to settle down because of his job tracking wildlife. This is a classic story of career vs Love, with a bunch of hostile ranchers thrown in as well. This book may even teach you a few things.

After leaving the Army Tandy moves to her Dads ranch which she inherited after his death, she is wanting to build a new life for her and her son but the town does not care much for her.She rents some space out to wildlife tracker Wyatt but she soon finds the locals hate him as much as they do her.He is determined to help and the more time they spend together the more they start to care for each other.This was a really good read and I enjoyed it a lot.

I enjoyed this slow burner romance set on a cattle ranch. I liked that the land, the animals and the weather were as much characters as Tandy and Wyatt. I would have liked a little more sizzle especially in such a beautiful backdrop but this story is more family-centric. Wyatt is tracking wolves and pups and part of his work, this theme is mirrored by Tandy who is very much the fierce mama when it comes to her son, Scotty, This story is a nice, long read, as relaxed and homely as it’s mountainous, rural environment.

I feel sad now .....the book has ended....adored this setting and storyline to this book ...so hopelessly romantic it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside....more please .

If a book could give you a warm hug....this book would. Perfect story for all the hopeless romantics

This story is well-written with the sort of characters that you immediately feel you have known for ages. The heroine Tandy is the classic single mum working to make a safe place for her adorable son while the hero Wyatt pretty much rides into the story as the strong loner who can't help being drawn into the family he never knew he wanted so much. The premise was believable and a good set-up for why the characters felt drawn to each other whilst insisting that heir life together could not happen. One for the old-fashioned romantics among us.

Tandy Graham has left the army and wants to settle down with her son Scott on her father's ranch. He left it to her when he passed away and Tandy wants to keep it running. She is struggling to do so because she can't hire help or buy a much-needed bull for her heifers because for some reason the whole town and the ranching association is against her. It doesn't help either that she has agreed to rent out space for a wildlife tracking expert to stay while he tracks wolves that were repatriated there. The town hates him as much as they seem to hate Tandy.

Wyatt Hunt has never really wanted to settle down, he's enjoyed his job because he's working with animals which he loves. He spent time on Tandy's ranch while her father was alive, which is when he released the wolves. There was some bad feeling then, but nothing like now, and he can't believe how the town is treating Tandy. Surely it must be something more than just letting him stay there that has the ranchers up in arms?

Wyatt is determined to help Tandy as much as he can and to help her to figure out why the ranchers are so bitter. In the meantime, he enjoys spending time with her and Scott, and it isn't long before he realises that if only he were the type to settle down, he could happily live on the ranch. It's a shame he's not that type though, or could he change?

For me, this was a nice story, nothing spectacular. Even though there was the intrigue of just what the other ranchers were up to by sabotaging Tandy at every turn, I just wasn't gripped with tension needing to find out the answer. The romance wasn't passionate despite them sharing heated kisses. It was all just nice. In some places, it was little too perfect, especially the way Wyatt was just so perfectly in tune with Scott and his needs, sometimes even more so than his mother seemed to be. I guess if you like a nice steady read with a sweet story than you will love this book, me, not so much.
