Dennis Danson is rotting away in prison for a brutal murder he has always sworn he didn’t commit. Now, twenty years into his sentence, a TV show is making a documentary about Dennis’s case and they uncover many inconsistencies in the evidence from his murder trial. The public is up in arms and demands Dennis be released. Meanwhile, Dennis has struck up a friendship via mail with a young school teacher, Samantha, in Britain. The two fall in love during their unconventional courtship, and when Dennis is released after a media blitz and public outcry, Sam is now alone with the stranger she has married. Slowly but surely, doubts begin to creep in, has Sam made in error in judgement that could cost her her life? This was a super creepy book and it brings to light all the women who strike up mail or online friendships with the most dangerous predators behind bars. Is Dennis really a good guy? You’ll have to read this heart pounding book to find out
