This was a cute and short story so it didn't take long to read and was very easy to get into. It had a good plot and the story flowed well. For the most part, it was a light-hearted story, but there were some emotional ups and downs. The characters were enjoyable although Ashley was a little on the dramatic side. But that said, both characters were very relatable so that made the story all the more engaging. Plenty of humor, wit, and romance to keep you glued till the last page! When you're in the mood for a light-hearted chick lit, this is the book to read.

A very satisfying read!

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read. I liked the characters, especially Dave. I seen that someone mentioned in a review that they did not like that the assault was not dealt with in the book. Unfortunately, in real life I feel this probably happens a lot. It is unfortunate but true. The characters dealt with insecurities as many people do, which made them relatable. I received a copy from Netgalley for my honest opinion. I would recommend this book.

This is typical novel about a heartbroken girl whom is trying to find love again. I liked how she has the groups of friends to fall back and support her!

Easy to get into the story. Ashleigh had been let down in love by her ex-boyfriend Lee. Living the other side of the world from the whole of her family her friends were very important to her.
She was reluctant to get involved with anyone ever again. Along came Dave. Would Ashleigh trust her gut instinct and allow herself to fall in love again? You won’t be disappointed, a lovely read.

I received this book from Netgalley for free. It was a good book. I liked it. I understood so much of Dave's perspective, especially in relation to his rape. I literally went through so much of the same thought processes. I didn't love Ashleigh, though she wasn't a bad character, but there was a lot of repetition of thought. It felt unnecessary and the constant Lee intrusions were just over the top and aggravating. I liked this and it was a good plot but I didn't like how it dragged and how long it took.

Really enjoyed this novel. The writing flowed and the characters were depicted very well. Couldn't wait to find out what happens next.

I could totally relate to the characters in this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. I laughed out loud some along the way and also loved the romantic part of it.

I don't know if it was me or the writing but I was so bored. I kept trying to get into it and felt at arm's length the whole time.

This was described as a British chick lit light-hearted story. I did like the story, but to me it was not a light-hearted story. It felt heavy to me, because it had a lot of angst, drama and heavy emotions throughout the story. The characters were likable though, and the story flowed nicely with a happy ending.

A feel good romance which I enjoyed a lot. Quite predictable at times, but nevertheless, a book which I would recommend for an easy pick me up and ideal for a holiday read.

This is a quick fun read, very Bridget Jones like. The story takes place in London. Ashleigh stays behind to be with her boyfriend while her family moves to America. Then she breaks it off with said boyfriend. Her no good cheating ex wants her back and will stop at nothing for another chance. When she meets Dave he is too good to be true. Everything is going great then her girl's weekend comes along. Now she is worried he will cheat on her on while she is gone thanks to her cheating ex. While she is gone Dave is sexually assaulted while he is asleep by a drunk girl that his flatmate brought home. Now what? Does he tell her? Does he pretend it never happened? How will she react? Good read.

Gut Feeling is a lovely story about friends and second chance. Ashley is afraid to trust a man after a heartbreak. She must decide whether or not she's ready. With the love and support of her friends, it's an engaging story. The characters are loveable and fun. The plot is intriguing and unfolds at a good pace. Good read!

I loved this book its right up my street. The story is about Ash who has been heart broken by a man and trying to learn to love again, she has a lovely group of friends, just what a women needs. This story is perfect for every female out there who has ever had a broken heart

Cute book that shows how a women starts gaining confidence in herself and allows herself to ask for what she deserves when it comes to a romantic relationship. The ending tied up the plot a little too quickly at the end for my liking, but overall I liked it.

Got very boring very quickly and the main character was so self pitying it was pathetic. Very disappointing

Not for me, unfortunately. An easy read, that seems to start off with so much potential but just fizzles. There isn't much character development or any real description to be honest. The main character is understandably gun shy when it comes to relationships but then jumps into a seemingly serious one right away? Not believable at all. It really did have so much potential.
