“Anson, Anson. Scared of me already” “Scared? Try terrified” I’m still much more in love with Dex than with Anson, but he is my second choice, last is Jack. If Anson learned to knit in order to win Riley then he is a keeper. Most men don’t even want to pick up their plates of the table after eating dinner. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2169732890 |
Not as good as book two, but not as bad as book one. Mediocre series at best. |
The final book for the Terrible Trio. Riley is the baker extraordinare. She makes the sweets people love. Anson has the knack for winning and it's created competition with Riley since second grade. Can past hurts be healed by a new wager? Will the need to always end on top leave Anson unable to get what he really needs? This final book has all the characters interacting. I'd like to have seen some more interactions at their respective businesses since we hear about them so much in books. Chemistry continues to be a subject the author does very well at providing. |
This was probably my favorite of the Best Revenge series by Marie Harte. Riley and Anson have been competitors and and rivals for years. Anton comes back to town after being away for years and ones a restaurant right next door to Riley’s very successful bakery. And sparks fly! An entertaining story. |
this was my least favorite of the three books. not only was the hero a huge asshole but the heroine wasnt much better. i never felt that much of a connection between them. the whole premise of this series was revenge but within the first few pages they were already sleeping together and then it was never brought up again so it kind of defeated the purpose. then to be upset about beating each other in high school was a little immature, especially since they were both successful now. |

Marie Harte is known for her writing abilities and it definitely shows in this book and the other 2 books in this series. They where just so amazing and they flowed together brilliantly that I would read and re-read this book again and again. They are that fabulous and Marie Harte has outdone herself again what a amazing and wonderful author she is. Would wholeheartedly, highly and totally recommend this book and the other 2 books in this series. Give them ago as you will totally love them like I do. |

An epic tale of romance interwoven articulately by an amazing author. I experienced a journey of love, list, romance, heartbreak, humour....younger my drift, Kept me entertained, hooked ad asking for more. Realistic writing style. Lots of laugh out loud moments. Great chemistry between the main characters, the dialogue is concise and to the point. This novel grabs your heart and won't let go. Brilliantly detailed, well written and edited. I could not put it down. The characters are memorable, lovable, relatable and honest with their feelings. The story unfolds easily and captivates from the start. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this book. A MUST read. Thank you MH 😀 |

Anson Black and Riley Hewitt have been competing with each other since they were in school, so why should anything change since they are adults. Anson and Riley have always had feeling for each other but getting them to admit it, that’s another story. Anson and Riley love to push each other’s buttons and the chemistry they have is scorching hot. I absolutely loved this book and all of the characters. What a great ending to this series. |
Anson Black has never met a woman more infuriating than Riley Hewitt, since they were young they have always had a way of making every encounter they share a competition. Always pushing each other's buttons, testing the limits, and now that he is back in town Anson is looking forward to the games starting all over again... and this time he plans to win every single time!! Riley Hewitt has her reservations about Anson moving back to town, full well knowing the war between them will be brewing once again. And now that she has discovered that he is going to be her new business neighbor she is spitting mad, why of all places did he have to choose the located next to her bakery? Let the games begin!! Served Sweet is a ridiculously sexy literary romp that is sure to have your tablet screen constantly steaming over, and your face sporting a permanent blush! Nothing stirs up the steam quite a like a couple who doesn't want to admit that they are perfect for each other, these two pushed each other buttons at every turn and with each button push, the heat climbed a little higher. Anson was determined to make Riley his once and for all, but Riley wasn't in the market for love or anything else that he had to offer her, she just wanted him gone... or did she? Their little journey was a lot of fun to experience, it had everything you look for in a enemies to lovers story. and much more! They are definitely my favorite couple from the Best Revenge Series, loved my time with them!! Highly recommend this amazing series from Ms. Harte, each couple is sure to take you on a smexy little literary trip! |
Served Sweet is the last of this series and I’m a little sad to see it all end. But finally getting to know more about the all too arrogant Anson and the woman who captures his heart is worth it. As with the previous stories there are some intensely serious moments mixed in with hilarious scenes and super hot sex! Riley and Anson are great together, but have to work hard for their HEA. A fabulous end to a series that has kept me riveted through each and every book. |
Excellent finish to this series. BWWM rom com. This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion. |

Riley and Anson's story is a little different from the first two. This time it was Riley trying to get Anson to own up to what they are or what they could be. Poor Anson is forced to think about his feelings. You go Riley! |
Riley knows how to get the upper hand on Anson without the man even knowing it, "she patted her hair and smoothed a hand down her dress. “See you downstairs.” Then she winked and left him staring after her, his fly still open." Anson sometimes just needs to let his woman have control, “congratulations. You won me. Now what do you want me to do first?” I liked this book, I seriously enjoyed these characters. |
