ETERNAL BROTHERS will have you enthralled with the first chapter and amazed by the last. Author N.J. Walters takes us back into her "Dalakis" world and what a wicked web she wove in this offering. Sophia and Zane are amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world, but with Zane you know that something is holding him back. You will have to read this book to know what it is but it will have you wondering if love would be enough to overcome his past? But really, come on, it's N.J. Walters, of course it will, but getting there is really more than half the fun.

The danger comes from multiple places and I really can't go into that any more deeply than to say sometimes the deeds of the past do come back to bite you. And bite them it does!

Something I have noticed lately; a number of authors have added a little subplot or second romance into their storylines. In ETERNAL BROTHERS, Sam Cassidy, the human ex-policeman who is now working with the Dalakis family as their daytime security, finds himself in love. Blythe Nixon is an intriguing mixture of sweet and prickly, with a story that will touch your heart. And Sam can have his happily ever after ... if he can get her to trust him.

If you are looking for a couple of steamy yet sweet romances, sexy vampires, gutsy humans, danger, action, intrigue with good and evil characters you can love and hate, then ETERNAL BROTHERS is just what you need.

This was actually a nice book, it is better than book three thought, However, I was shocked to know that he was the cousins of the three.

The romance as the other books are intense but it was worth reading for. I look forward to last book of the series.

~@njwaltersauthor more great books!

Having read the other books in this series, I really wasn’t sure where the series would go after we matched up the last brother to his mate. I shouldn’t have worried, because this naturally progresses the world and kept me completely engaged.

This book was like two in one – the first story revolving around Zane York and the second around Cassidy (one of the few remaining humans in their world). Zane was bit of a mystery in the beginning. I wasn’t sure how he really fit into their world, but I was sure how he fit into Sophia’s. Sophia was a new introduction by way of her stumbling upon a crime scene while following a reporter tip. She and Zane smash into each other, trying to fight this instant attraction while also let go of some walls they’ve both built up. Oh, and there’s the whole vampire thing. Aside from their romantic storyline, there’s also a murder mystery to solve that includes the Dalakis brothers.

Cassidy enters the story as an investigator into threats against the Dalakis brother, his well-paying clients. While looking into leads, he ends up meeting his own match in the form of a stubborn and tough as nails woman who fell in with the wrong crowd. She fights and pushes against him but he is a patient man and used his non-vampire charm to try to win her over. The two relationships ended up playing off of one another nicely and I was happy to see the humans get a story to match the vampires. All in all, this was a good shift in this series and I look forward to even more.

As long as you go into this knowing what you're getting, you'll love it. But really, look at that cover. You KNOW what you're getting. ;)

I really enjoyed this book, even though I haven't read the first three in the series (because I blanked and didn't see that part). It was easy enough to figure out what was going on without being confused, but also not too heavy on the 'what's already happened and who's who' that it got boring.

The chemistry between Zane and Sophia is on par with other paranormal romances that I enjoy (Gena Showalter comes to mind). And the romance scenes are fantastic!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Ellora's Cave for the free e-copy to review.

Murder, suspense and Vampires combine to make this a captivating, supernatural thriller. The characters and plot were both well-crafted and interesting. The chemistry between Zane and Sophia was electric. Secrets, lies, twists and turns made this a completely riveting read. I am liking Walters' "not-so-sparkly" breed of Vamp. Now, I really want to go back and read the other books in this series!

*I received a complimentary ARC of this story through NetGalley and Beyond the Page Publishing in order to read and provide a voluntary, unbiased and honest review, should I choose to do so.

This was a joy to read. This was the first book that I have read by this author and now I need to read the other books in this series. I love everything about this book from the characters to the story. Zane and Sophia meet and the chemistry between them is combustible and scorching, Unfortunately not all is as what is seems when she meets Zane. Will the secrets that someone wants to stay hidden end their happiness? Will someone else get in the way of truth and happiness? Thank you for allowing me to read this and write a honest review.

I feel like I should like this more. But sometimes certain formulas are so repetitive that the story gets drowned out by the eye rolls. Not bad just not for me.

3 1/2 Stars

This one had a tad more story then sex, but it as a close call. I liked Zane interesting twist for him. Cassidy also had much going for them. It was great that we got to see all the other characters from the last parts of the series.

There is a ton of sex.....yes a ton. If you are not cool with that don’t read this.

Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

Zane is rich, powerful men.He has a secrets - secrets that men kill to protect. Ex-cop Zane York has watched them for several years and has returned to New Orleans to resume his investigation. He has to know if his suspicions are true, they are vampires.
Reporter Sophia Daring ,but nothing has prepared her for this late-night phone call, that leads her to the cemetery and to the body of a dead woman. All the clues point straight to the Dalakis family. The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Keep up the good work.

Eternal Brothers an immensely good read, with entertaining characters, book #4 of the Dalakis Passion by N.J. Walters. It was the synopsis that pulled me in, but the chemistry and storyline that had me wanting to finish.
I never read a book by N.J. Walters. It was totally welcoming to find that I wasn’t lost by starting in the middle of this series.
The story starts with a murder and from there, the storyline will take you and won’t let you go until the very last word. The past of one of the Dalakis will come back to haunt them and a new family member is revealed. But it will be as a family that the mystery will be solved.
Eternal Brothers was a book that I see myself reading over, and over again this winter. What made this story different than any other vampire romance I have ever read, was the way it was written to include multiple storylines at once. And all the storylines will capture your imagination and without a doubt, you will be begging for more.
And going by this book, I need to know to go back and read the other books in this series. But, most certainly with Eternal Brothers, I have found a new author to add to my favorite author list.
I will certainly recommend Eternal Brothers for any reader who’s into vampire romance and enjoys a good story with lots of plot-twists.

Eternal Brothers by N. J. Walters is book Four in the "Dalakis Passion" series. This is the story of Zane and Sophia.
Zane has come down to look into the Dalakis family to see if they are 'good' vampires or not. Sophia is a reporter / journalist who was called with a tip to meet at a cemetery. There she finds a dead body with a note with reference to the Dalakis family. Zane first sees Sophia there and feels an instant attraction to her. When he follows up the next day with her to find out what she knows...neither one can fight their attraction. Zane feels she is his mate but his parents upsetting relationship has him distant from every officially claiming a mate. But its hard fighting his feelings.
Another hot and steamy romance by this author!!

I really don’t know how it happened, but I have not read the first three books in this vampire series, but I am certainly going to be reading them soon because the fourth book in the Dalakis Passion series is one that captures the imagination, sets passion on fire and one that I enjoyed from start to finish.

The story is hot and steamy with lots of sexy characters that promises lots of dream worthy material and has readers wanting more. Sophia and Zane’s relationship is not the only one happening in this story as readers get surprised with a second romance between another couple (sorry, I am not giving out names as that may spoil the surprise for readers who have read the previous books), both romances are blistering infernos of heated sex scenes and burning love with quite a bit of emotional turmoil that tugs at reader’s hearts.

This fast paced story engages the readers with bad guys that are nasty and make the readers howl with glee when the good guys go after them, add in the dangerous thrills and chills during a story full of twists and turns and readers have to keep turning the pages because they just have to know what will happen next.

The author pleases readers with an electrifying and sensual combination of romance, action, intrigue and uber hot vampires. By the way, I had no problem picking up on just how hot the Dalakis vampires are and N.J. Walters gave just the right amount of hints about the previous books that I caught on to what has been happening up to this point in the series without giving too much away, so I am definitely looking forward to reading more of the Dalakis Passion books.

What an unexpected surprise!!! I loved this book... so many characters each with depth and dimension. We have Zane (a vampire) and Sophia (a human) she also a reporter. Their romance is chronicled as well as the romance between Sam Cassidy and Blythe. However how they all intertwine is the story plot all to do with the vampire family Dalakis. There are murders to be solved that implicate the Dalakis family and then the murder of a mafia head by the Dalakis clan in self defense and the brother of the deceased wants revenge. WHAT A STORY!!! Always keeping me glued to my page from the onset. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily received and reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book given by NetGalley.

4 1/2 Star Review.....

N.J. Walters has continued the theme of sizzling romance, suspense, murder and intrigue, and above all else, some sexy as sin Vampires!

Eternal Brothers weaves an explosive tale of dark secrets and danger with a backdrop of the fabulous city of New Orleans. The plot is amazing and the storyline ebbs and flows perfectly. With engaging characters and spine-tingling drama, this story has everything!

I would definitely recommend reading this series from the beginning, as every story is exceptional in its own right. Thank you Ms Walters for another fantastic reading experience.

I really liked Zane he took care of his girl and the damages he's caused, “we’ll talk about the murder after you’ve eaten.”He seated her back in her chair and went around to the other side of the table and picked the broken chair off the floor. “Sorry about that.”He sat down, taking care not to lean against the shattered back. “I’ll make sure I replace it for you.” Sophia has no problem giving her man a tongue lashing, "...you’re a vampire, for heaven’s sake! Couldn’t you have snuck into my bed . . . I mean, my apartment , sometime during the night without being seen?” I liked this book, Zane was protective and alpha.
