3.5 Wild Trail was an enjoyable read. The characters were sweet and the chemistry between Mack and Wes was even more than I hoped for. While I liked the book, it seemed to drag on in the middle and then rushed at the end. I received an ARC for a honest review |
I loved this book so much, I requested it a second time! A.M. Arthur is on the top of my favorite authors list and I don't think I've ever read anything of hers I didn't like. Sure, Wild Trail may reuse city-slicker-meets-gruff-cowboy trope but it's still a worthwhile read. Looking forward to the continuation of the series. |

Wild Trail by A. M. Arthur treads some well-worn ground: ranch hand and city slicker, a past broken heart leads to vows of no-strings-attached, found family. The characters move through their paces cleanly, but it's hard to feel chemistry, either between the love interests, or the friends assembled around them. |
really enjoyed this book, with two sexy male characters, one a cowboy and the other an actor, a great deal of chemistry between them, both with previously broken hearts will they be able to trust each other or will it just be a holiday fling. With romance, sex, friendships, secrets and a mystery, I didn't want to put it down. I look forward to the sequels. Thanks to Netgalley and Harlequin - Carina Press for a copy in return for an honest review. |
