This is a great book to introduce kids to the sports team - the Philadelphia Eagles!
It has fun facts, great pictures and mini features about some of their best players of all time as well as a list of their achievements. Ideal for any young sports fans out there!

I am giving a neutral review of this book because I was not able to get it to download. I do not think that this should in any way punish those that spent their time writing and creating this book. I feel that this is truly an issue with the system for downloading.

I would like to start with a couple of disclaimers.
1. I am not a child. I haven't been one for some considerable time. I am however a British adult who has only recently got into (American) Football having given up fighting my brother's attempts to get me interested a few years ago and, since attending 7 live games in the London International series, I have now picked the Eagles as my team so am in the process of playing catch-up with their history and past players.
2. I read a review of this book in PDF format so I have no idea what the finished product will look/feel like. I am only able to comment on what I saw on my screen and the actual content rather than the overall technicolour finished article.
This is an incredibly short read. Well suited length for its real target audience but admittedly not quite enough depth for me which I knew it wouldn't be. What it did do however, which was the main point of reading it in the first place, was give me pointers enough so that I now have a start to begin my delving into my adopted team's annals. There was also a handy map, handy I say for the geographically challenged such as myself. I can hardly cope with my own country let alone someone elses! Oh and everyone one loves a "spot the difference" no matter how old! There's not too much about the now in this book. But then again, I know what is happening at the moment with the Eagles. I know who the hot players are. Also, the stadium is mentioned but not actually named and there was no mention of the mascot, which was a shame really. Mascots are one of the best things about the sport and Swoop here is a cracking example!
Anyway, I digress. All in all, this ticked the boxes I wanted from it and left me with a list of things to look up. Job done. My thanks go to the Publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book.
