Enjoyable read with fresh spirit. Though some may have learned about Sadie Robertson through Duck Dynasty, her book shines through with truth and a poignant honesty that reaches through to touch the heart and soul.

Fear how do we overcome it. This book was easy to read. Sadie shares her journey with god and how she overcame her own fears. I can relate to this book. It has lots of helpful tips. As if one was talking with a friend. An overall inspiring read. Need to go buy a physical copy now.

Sadie is wise beyond her years. Her faith is solid and unwavering. God has given her a voice of authority that comes from her strength of relationship with Him.

I had heard her speak of the plankton analogy on a podcast. It really resonated with me at that time and still does. We are not to try to be somebody of greatness or great influence. We are just to soak in the presence of the Son. When we truly know God, we will not be able to contain His presence in our lives. It will just emanate from us. The book is worth reading on this basis alone. Sadie opens herself up to learn from the Holy Spirit. He is teaching her all things. And she in turn gives Him all the glory. Most of us don’t figure that out until later in life. I’m so happy that she is spreading this message so the younger generations can figure it out sooner than us older folk did and live for Him longer.

I like how she communicated our need to work the word, meaning to apply God’s word to our lives and let it change us.

And this quote resonated too. “Many of us are acting like following God is some big sacrifice. It isn’t. It’s a joy and a great adventure.” If we aren’t feeling the thrill of knowing Him and being in relationship with Him, I don’t think we truly know Him.

Towards the end of the book Sadie shared that she never asked for votes when she was on Dancing With the Stars. This is a beautifully mature approach to her experience. I’m sure she wanted to win like everyone else, but she was secure in her worth without the win. How different Christians are when they keep in step with the Spirit, not conforming to the patterns of the world. Living in the world, but not of the world. This fits perfectly with her theme she uses for her tours: Live Original. What a great message for today’s kids. They don’t have to conform to the patterns of the world.

This would be a great book for every teenage girl to read. And even the occasional forty something 😄.

I am not a religious person but I was still intrigued to read this book as I am fascinated with their lives. This book encourages people to strengthen your relationship with God and while ultimately, that does not apply to me - I still think this book had great overall messages and was enjoyable.

Sadie Robertson tackles a very common trait people have: fear. I love how she rooted the solution in God. Fear is a hard thing to overcome, but she comes at it in a relatable way. She shares experiences from her own life, lessons she learned, and the wisdom God Gabe her. My teen will be blessed and encouraged to know others have been where she stands now, and they overcame it.

I was so happy to be given a copy of Live Fearless to read and review! I am a big fan of Sadie Robertson and her contagious enthusiasm for all things that glorify God. This is so evident in her writing and all of the hopes she has for her readers. As an adult with college years behind me, I still found most of her book relevant to my own struggles with fear and how I can fight them. I highly recommend this book to any high school or college young woman who struggles with worry and fear, and seeks to find rescue from Jesus. I can’t wait to see what other books she writes in the future!

I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I really like Sadie Robertson. She’s genuine and relatable. I think this would be a great book for teen/college-aged girls. I would have really enjoyed it at that age. Not to say that I didn’t enjoy it now - but as a 31 year old mom & wife, I wasn’t the intended audience! And that’s okay! It was still a good read & challenged me to consider how I respond to fear.

This was a very relatable, realistic, and inspiring read. Although this book is targeted at a younger audience, I found the content ageless and appropriate for anyone across the lifespan.

I really liked the messages that Sadie shared and I felt that whomever the author truly was (whether it be Beth Clark or Sadie Robertson), the writing captured her personality perfectly. It felt like reading advice from a friend when self-help books can often feel like you're being spoken 'down' to as a reader.

This read was a quick read for me but it could be read at different speeds depending on how you work with the content. There's somewhat of an interactive component where Sadie allows the reader to reflect on their own life.

As stated, I think this book would be suitable for many ages. Whether it be a young girl or an older woman. Sadie's examples and the messages that she delivers, are helpful reminders for anyone who finds themselves 'off course'. I will continue to look for books published by Sadie Robertson in the future as I have enjoyed each book that I've read by her so far.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book is truly a blessing! I have already refered several youths to read it. It has already been a blessing and a help to me in my own life.

Sadie has captured the very essence of living in fear. She did an exceptional job with being translucent to the readers. I loved her challenges that she gives the readers so that they can apply it to their own lives. Sadie Robertson writes as herself and does not try to be anything other than what she is!

The only problem that I have with the book is that the author does not use KJV Bible verses. I had to have my KJV Bible out while I was reading so that I could look up the verses.

This is a spiritually beautiful book for people who are trying to conquer their fear by trusting in God.
So much of postivity in this one. This book is so much like a guide but also like a diary.
This one will boost your spirits. The writing is fine but the story isn't gripping and engaging.
If a person who reads this book at the right time ie; during the time when they actually need some catalyst in their life, this book will be super supportive and guidable..

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Duck Dynasty is a show that is well known throughout our community as well as throughout my family. Watching the show I had an idea of the person that Sadie was but I have never witness such genuine honesty, kindness and accountability she had throughout this book. Also her voice in this book was like a cheerleader, she was on the journey with you also helping herself as well as you and you do not see many authors take that approach and that is what made reading this book more enjoyable. I also loved the activities she incorporated with each chapter connecting them with a personal story of hers. I think a lot of our young readers are going to connect with Sadie not just from her Duck Dynasty fame but with her genuine approach to conquering fear and working towards living her best life possible.

We will consider adding this title to our Non-Fiction collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

While this was not a bad book, it was not for me. Sadie Robertson has some words to share that seem wise beyond her years, and yet they are given for people around Sadie's age. I'm old enough to be her Mom, so this book felt a little too juvenile for me. I would not recommend this book to anyone older than 30... unless they were still living as if they were in their early 20's. BUT... that is just a personal opinion.

I love Sadie's passion for young ladies. She is truly a great role model to have. In her book, Live Fearless she is setting the bar for our younger generation to live fearlessly. Don't worry about what people think of you, trust God and let Him lead your life.

WHY I CHOOSE THIS BOOK

I've seen Live Fearless multiple times at stores and it always looked interesting. I don't know a ton about Miss Sadie, but I've watched a few of her videos on YouTube and was properly impressed. Everything she stands on seems to be solid, so when I had the chance to review this book from NetGalley, I was excited.

WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BOOK

Folks, I was blown away. Sadie has a beautiful voice where she shares her story in an honest, sometimes amusing, and very relatable way. It seemed like the book was written for teens, but I feel like it related well to other age groups as well.

I read the book in one evening not really wanting to put it down because the writing was so compelling and encouraging, and real. Sadie discusses how she lived her life with fear dictating her steps and consuming her. That's a horrible way to live and one day she decided she was done with being a slave to fear so she went on a journey to discover what the Bible says about living fearlessly.

I recently read another book that was supposedly a Christian living book but focused almost entirely on people being strong enough on their own. Live Fearless was refreshingly balanced with talking about how we really do need to do the work to live the life we were meant to live, but that we have to be walking with God in order to do that. Sadie backs up everything she says with the Bible, pointing to God's Word as the ultimate authority as to why we are supposed to move forward in confidence. It made me want to highly recommend this book - especially to teens.

CONCLUSION

Live Fearless is full of practical, biblical advice, real-life examples, easy-to-read writing, and encouragement to help you live a life that is guided by God's truths instead of fear.

One last thing: The book talks a lot about Sadie's journey with Dancing with the Stars, and I want to clarify that I don't recommend watching the show. ;)

RATING

I’m giving Live Fearless 4 out of 5 stars and recommend the book to teens or anyone who wants a quick, encouraging read

Sadie Robertson writes an inspiring study on living fearlessly. She uses lots of Bible verses to come to solid conclusions about living in God’s will, and shares personal stories as well as helpful anecdotes to get her points across. She gives real life experiences that reminds the reader that living in the world is not always easy, but with His help, we can live courageously. Highly recommended, especially to teen girls and pre-teens.

I was given a free e-copy in return for my honest opinion. Thank you publishers and Net Galley.
Unfortunately I don't think autobiographies are my thing. I had to DNF this one chapter in because I just was not in the mood.
So sorry, I gave it 3 stars because even though it is not my kind of book I know other people will enjoy it.
