Another fun entry in this series. Narwhal and Jellyfish make a great pair. This book is highly entertaining and will have readers giggling the whole way through.

Narwhal discovers the joy of peanut butter and takes things to the extreme in several humorous short chapters. Great as a read aloud or for 1st-3rd grade independent readers.

Absolutely adorable. I loved it! It was cute, funny, and great.

Not much to really say about this one: I love Narwhal and Jellyfish books: I've recommended them to everyone I know because they're adorable, funny, and just a fun little romp today kids would love! This one's as good as the others and I look forward to the next one!

Creative antics abound in this conversation filled series that will captivate, entertain and pedagogically please a wide audience. Narwhal and Jelly explore new antics and further their friendship in a delightful read aloud.

This book could not be any more adorable. The reading level and illustrations are absolutely perfect for 1-2nd graders, and reluctant older readers, and it's easy to see why these two adorable characters have a cult following at my library.

Another hit starring Narwhal and Jelly! This super cute and funny series is a sure bet for kids who love cute, funny things. Don’t miss this latest installment!

Still funny and adorable. Narwhal and Jelly's conversation about all the foods Narwhal hasn't tried is sure to entertain readers of all ages. Narwhal's obsession with the peanut butter was delightful and there were several fun surprises. Readers of the first two installments won't be disappointed.

Such an adorable installment of these two sea creatures. I loved it and know it’ll be a favorite in our house too.

I am a big fan and happy to see the latest book in the series doesn't disappoint a bit. The illustrations compliment the text. I am always a fan of books that encourage children to try new foods.

This series is just so much fun. It’s simple, but that is its beauty. Apparently Narwhal has never eaten anything but waffles. And Jelly has a peanut butter cookie. It takes some convincing, but when Narwhal finally gets his first bite, he is hooked. And an addict is made. This book isn't just fun, “it’s fintastic”.

ARC Copy...just another short yet weird trip with Narwhal and Jelly with a dash of peanut butter! Ok make that alot. Oookkk, make a Narwhal sized helping of Peanut Butter and waffles!

These books are adorable, clever, and a wonderful way to expose emerging readers to a graphic novel format without being overwhelming.

Another stellar Narwhal and Jelly book! This is one of my favourite recent series for younger kids! In this one, Narwhal reveals some interesting things about himself (his names!) and learns to love peanut butter!

This one one of the most adorable books that I have ever read. So cute.

For months, a young friend of mine has been begging me to read a Narwhal and Jelly book. He laughs so hard just thinking about the series that I had to give it a try.
Now I see why he loves that goofy Narwhal soooooo much. That wacky whale is just right to appeal to a young reader's sense of fun. Even at my advanced age, I loved the absurdity, the hyperbole and the illustrations and the friendship between Narwhal and Jelly. I also loved the way that Clanton snuck in a few sea-facts amidst the hilarity. I'll definitely be recommending this to other young readers I work with.

In which Jelly convinces Narwhal to try a peanut butter cookie. As expected, Narwhal takes things to the extreme.

These books are always adorable and fun. They always bring a smile to my face.

I absolutely adore the Narwhal and Jelly books! Peanut Butter and Jelly is just as fun as the other two, and left me eager for another...that's the problem with ARCs, it makes the waiting for the next book much much longer!
More Narwhal and Jelly please!!

Peanut Butter and Jelly by Ben Clanton from Penguin Random House Canada, is book 3 in this cute graphic series which is due out 27 March, 2018. The art is super simple and adorable.
It's a short book, 64 pages, with 2 small stories, a mini-comic 'by Peanut Butter and Floyd', and a 2 page spread with facts about sea creatures great and small from blue whales to sea cucumbers. There is also a useful table of contents in the front end of the book.
I try hard to avoid comparisons with books I'm reviewing, but this series reminds me in a very good way of Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants, silly and fun and with good underlying messages which aren't preachy and don't get in the way of a good story.
The primary audience for Narwhal and Jelly is in the 6-9 year old range, but quite fun for adults as well. It would make a good read-together, short and sweet (with lots of scope for silly dialogue and voices for the reader). :)
Four stars, adorable!
