This book can be summarized in one word: Mentorship. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of mentor-relationships (or to use the terminology used throughout the book, "coaching" relationships). It focuses in particular on the importance of the mentor/coach in church plants in particular. The church can't forget the importance of these discipleship relationships - and it's great to have a reminder that church planters are in need of mentor relationships. |
