The first book in The Pendragon Legacy series a well written story, that I was not putting down until I finished it. So if you are like me do not start at bedtime. What a surprise you find when you decide to not only read eBooks but decide to read paperbacks off your bookshelves. What gets to me is the price my books are now selling for. Okay enough of that. This is Lucan Roarke and Lady Cael, high priestess and the only dragonshaper on her world, two people keeping secrets from each other, and finding love. After reading this book I am going to go see if I have the second book in this series. I recommend.

For Lucan Roarke, failure is not an option. If he fails, Earth perishes. Ancient clues have led him to the planet Pendragon, the last known resting place of the mythical Holy Grail--Earth's last chance. Lady Cael, high priestess and the only dragonshaper on her world, is destined to live a life untouched by love and mate. When she agrees to aid Lucan in his desperate search, she must fight the passionate attraction growing between them. She's been less than truthful, and if they succeed in recovering the Grail, she will be honor bound to betray Lucan. And Earth. When Cael finally admits the terrifying truth, she shatters Lucan and threatens his mission. To save humanity, he must make a catastrophic choice.
This is a pretty good book from an author I haven’t read in a long time. I love dragon stories, and while I sometimes have a problem reading Science Fiction (I am a fan of it in film and TV) I had no problems with those elements she put into the book. I don’t get to read many books that have a King Arthur mythos to them, so I appreciated the change. I loved the characters and really enjoyed the book. I highly recommend.

This is the first book I have read by this Author - and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the book .
Almost all the people on Earth are sterile - with very few live births - extinction is on the horizon .
Lucan Roarke has knows that the fate of Earth is in his hands .............following clues surrounding King Arthur Pendragon his search for the Holy Grail takes him to the planet Pendragon .
In his guise as an archeologist he feels he is getting closer to finding the Grail BUT others are determined to claim it for themselves ................
Lady Cael, high priestess and the only dragonshaper on her world needs it to cure her nephew and help others .
The Army want it for themselves for it says that a warrior cannot die if he drinks from the cup THUS creating super-soldiers .
There are betrayals on all sides before Cael and Lucan can find love..........and the Grail

A enjoyable book incorporating the legends of King Arthur with a romance that can defeat all odds despite betrayals .
I look forward to the next in the series .

Susan Kearney gives us a paranormal fantasy with a Dragon of Legend. Cael, is a dragon shifter and priestess. To save the life of a visitor, she gives him her dragon blood and he becomes a dragon shifter. There is a quest for the Grail of Pendragon, evil generals, and lots of legendary conflicts. Easy read.

A Dragon of Legend book #1 of Susan Kearney’s The Pendragon Legacy published under Bell Bridge Books brand. Was a fun and exciting read. If you love the myths about King Arthur and the Holy Grail, then you would certainly get a kick out of this story.
Lucas Roarke was on a mission to find the Holy Grail. On a trip with his twin sister, he came across a find that led him on the hunt of the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail suppose to have magical properties to cure all illness. But Lucas is not the only one on the hunt for the Grail. Lady Cael the high priestess and the only dragonshaper of her kind is too. Her nephew is dying and even though she could heal, there are just somethings she is unable to cure. But she knows if she could just find the Holy Grail then her nephew might have a chance to beat the disease that is slowly killing him.
It took me several days to complete this book. And though it was slow in places the story was still compelling enough to keep me wanting to know more and to read the book tell the end. The attraction between the two main characters was hot and the plot well-developed. Truly one great paranormal romance.

This story is a different take on, the story of King Arthur and the search of the holy grail. Can Lucas find the grail before it’s to late, and are Lady Cael the high priestess going to betray him or love him. Have they a Chan’s together..

I think this book was interesting and liked it. If you like to read about some action and romance then it’s a book for you,

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This book is an interesting mix of sci-fi, alien, and Arthurian legend which starts a new series about dragonshapers. It is an different take on the King Arthur legend that has Arthur as a dragonshaper who sent his knights to different planets and the Holy Grail to a moon in space to keep it safe.

While this book mostly deals with the romance between Lucan and Cael, we are introduced to one of the descendants of Gawain from the planet Honor, who plays a big part in their survival and escape.

There are lots of twists and betrayals so you are not sure who they can trust and many emotional highs and lows. You can feel the pain that Cael suffers when she is not touched and feared by her people, her pain when she learns that Lucan just wants casual sex, and her pain when she thinks her nephew is dying but she is a strong woman and keeps going.

I am hoping that some of the unanswered parts are addressed in the upcoming books - like who are the Tribes?? The only thing that I felt was a little unbelievable was when they finally get the Holy Grail but then they lose it at the end.
