'How You Ruined My Life' is a hilariously funny YA novel about two cousins. Rod lives only with his mum, and even tough they are poor Rod is happy. He has his girlfriend Audrey and his (not so popular) band Fanged Grapefruit. Well, he is happy until his rich cousin Blake comes to live with him for a few months and destroys his life completely. I enjoyed all incredibly amusing dialogues and descriptions. You will be surprised how creative and brilliant are Blake's destructive ideas!

Insanely funny, triumphantly turbulent, and unmistakably S-T-R-A-N-D.
How You Ruined My Life is a literary masterpiece disguised as a teenage rant.

Easy-going, punk-rock raging Rod is surfing the High School scene with ease until his un-invited cousin, Blake, moves in for a few months.

Pompous, entitled, and privileged Blake puts on a powerful show of politeness for the world, but when it comes to connecting with Rod one-on-one, Blake is a diabolical, mayhem-inducing maniac.

Perfect for fans of Elliot Allagash (Simon Rich) and Au Revior Crazy European Chick (Joe Schrieber).

How You Ruined My Life is a hilarious coming-of-age adventure --- certain to be well-received by the high school crowd, and perfectly suitable for younger teens as well. ~ Lisa Brennan, Middle School Librarian @noveltalk
