I'm not sure why I waited so long to read this novel. Although it started slow, it soon captured my attention. Nicole Williams has succeeded in creating a world that I found myself deeply invested in, thanks to her well-crafted characters. While Jade was a quirky and unique character, Quentin's mysterious nature kept me hooked. Towards the end, there was a big twist that I had guessed before it was revealed, and it helped me understand some of Quentin's behavior.

This book is perfect for anyone looking for a summer romance novel that lingers in your thoughts long after you've finished reading it.

I decided not to finish this book because I didn't feel a strong connection to the story or characters. I will not be rating it or writing a full review, but I appreciate the opportunity.

Almost Impossible is a cute Young Adult romance. If you are looking to scratch that Kasie West/Jenny Han itch, this should suffice. Is it anything spectacular? Not really, however it is a great beach read.

I enjoyed Almost Impossible. It wasn't my favorite YA story as I found it to be a bit on the immature side - even for YA, but over all it was a decent read. Thanks for the opportunity to read it.

This book really resonated with me, and I found myself thinking about it weeks after I had finished reading it. I loved the way that Nicole Williams laid out the plot and revealed things in due time to the reader. Such a powerful, beautiful book.

I really enjoyed this book and found it very interesting with this take on this romance. I enjoyed the description of the romance interests and the different point of views . Overall I enjoyed this book and loved the cover. I can't to read other books by this author.

I liked this book. I wasn't surprised by the hero's secret because it was so obvious. I liked the romance between Jade and Quentin and also how Jade's relationships with her family changed. I feel like Jade and Quentin made some decisions I wouldn't have made but I think they were typical for a teen. Overall I did like this book and would recommend it. 3.5 stars

This is another cute story by this incredible Author.
I thought Almost Impossible was filled with relatable characters and are facing what young adults/children are facing in today's world.
I thought the characters were wonderful and enjoyed this book-- and that ending.

3.5 stars from me.

Nicole Williams has been a favorite author of mine for some time now. I am not a big fan of YA novels but I figured since she is one of my favs I could read it and see how it goes. I did enjoy the story and would give it a 3.5 stars. It was missing that spark for me that I guess the more sexy books I read give, but in all it was good read and did have some angst in it.
Jade is used to the life on the road with her mom but has decided she wants one summer to be a normal teenager before she is an adult and has to go off to college. So she decides to spend it with her aunt and uncle. She is determined to get the whole experience so she gets a part-time job at the local pool, but she doesn't expect to meet the cute boy Quentin...
Quentin has more responsibility to then most boys his age and is all about family. He doesn't let anyone to close to him because of said responsibilities, but he can't help himself around the beautiful girl Jade who happens to work with him and live next door to him..

She gets a job at the local pool as a concession worker and is surprised to meet a very handsome guy sleeping in his truck. But Jade also has another reason for wanting to go to California and that is to meet her dad whom she has never met before.

Quentin Ford's family recently moved to town and he is the head lifeguard at the pool and also ends up being the next door neighbor to Aunt Julie. He spends most of his time at the pool or being at home with his siblings and taking care of them for his parents.

As Jade tries to live a "normal" teen life she finds herself at odds with Julie over what she can and can't do. When she gets caught sneaking out with Quentin things change all of a sudden and now Julie isn't sure anymore if this is the kind of life she is after as everyone around her seems to have secrets.

This was a great book and I really enjoyed it.

Jade was such a great character and I really understood why she had difficulty understanding the guidelines that Julie had in place when she was so used to being on tour with her mom and having so much freedom.

Quentin was interesting and I liked the mystery surrounding him although I had it figure it out by 30%. He had swagger and I loved that he was a good kid but I knew there was more than what met the eye.

I was totally shocked at the blow up over getting caught sneaking out but more by Quentin than anyone else. I loved that Jade still had his back and was able to help him through his next emergency after that.

I was completely shocked with everything that happened with Anarchy Artists and Jade is so better off without anything regarding that! That being said I loved at how her mom always seemed to know when she needed her, even though they were a world away.

I was not shocked at all when everything went sideways again with everything being out in the open but I loved what both Quentin and Jade's mom did. The end was great and I look forward to more from the author!

This is a cute, quick read that provides a good young adult romance for the beach. If that's what you're looking for, I recommend picking this one up.

Pretty basic YA contemporary. Definitely reminds me of Sarah Dessen writing. I'll pick it up again when I'm back in the contemporary mood

This book was a sweet romance and although I saw it coming, I thought the twist of a young teen dad was a fresh take on a romance about two white privileged teens.

This was very reminiscent of a Sarah Dessen book. There wasn't a lot of depth or development to this story, just your typical high school YA. It was predictable and just fine. Nothing crazy happens but it was a quite light read.

My Review: This one was a very cute romance that would be great for the upcoming summer or well if you just want to pretend it's summer. That is unless you live here in Florida and you pretty much get summer almost year round. So grab this one and head to the beach! I really liked this story but the twist/secret was kind of easy to guess for me so that was kind of a letdown. I also wished that this one would have had an epilogue because I really love knowing what characters are doing after the story ends. The story was well paced and exactly what it said it would be. It's something that I could see reading again in the future.

This was very cute and gave a pretty realistic look at teen love, without being preachy or too syrupy. Would make a good summer or break read for kids.

Book Review- Almost Impossible by Nicole Williams

Jade is planning the perfect summer as a normal teen. Her life is anything but normal. She tours with her mom and the band Shrinking Violets. I can see her curiosity about whether she is missing anything.
There are definitely some issues in her family. Her aunt Julie is a control freak with a workaholic husband. Jade feels a tad lost since she doesn’t know her father. It is bound to be a summer to remember. She gets her first job at the local pool and her meeting with Quentin is hysterical. I love how the author set up the situation. He was such a jerk. I really thought she might punch him. Then enter the apology and the challenges. He could really read her pretty well. Jade had to let go and learn to live a little.
I truly loved her character, she was open-minded and a truly nice person. Of course, the author gave her a summer she would never forget. Secrets were front and center as she also searched for her dad. Then throw in Aunt Julie and, wow, nothing like a “normal” teenage summer. It was a great story that I couldn’t put down with great characters. I give it a 5 out of 5.
