A psychological thriller with lots of twists and turns as Kate tries to solve the mystery of her parents murder and save the life of her critically ill young son. There were a lot of times when you weren't sure if Kate herself actually killed her parents. Her childhood friend seems interested in helping her as does her late father's lawyer. Detective Elkins suspects her of murdering her parents and burning down her house to hide evidence. Will Kate be able to prove she is innocent? Who is behind the arson of her house and her parents death?

What would you do to save your child’s life. For Clara, the decision is not easy, but she will do anything to get her son the medical attention that will save his life. And that includes letting a film crew interview her and talk about the horrific night that her parents disappeared. Popular opinion was that Clara was involved with her parents disappearance, or even their death. Now, she will have to face her darkest fears to try to uncover what really happened to her parents. This was both a new author and a new publisher for me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m so glad I took the chance and read this book, it bowled me over. Crow is a gifted storyteller

Started out okay, rapidly deteriorated. Enough red herrings to feed several families and a pretty ludicrous premise. Not for me. I hope other readers enjoy it.
