A must read. Friend of Sinners will remind you of the overwhelming love of Jesus and his heart for us sinners. After finishing the book you will be ready to go out and show the love of Jesus.

If only I could have kept my high lighter away from these pages I would have eaten this book up in one night. But I immersed myself in it and high lighted more than half of what was written.

Rich does an incredible job of breaking it down and retelling stories relatable for today. This book is for everyone. I have repeatedly told friends about it since I opened the first page. And I will be rereading it again soon!!

Whether you grew up in the church and felt accepted or struggled with the church and are just finding your footing in a life with Jesus. I can't rave enough about this book and the timing it was launched! I was incredibly blessed to be on the launch team and this copy will stay close to me forever.

The breakdown of what Jesus really came to earth for was a reawakening for me as a life long Christian. Acceptance and love and knowing that He just came to show us unconditional love.

READ THIS BOOK! No matter your relationship with the church or God. Light-hearted yet serious - dig deep with this one!!! This book will awaken you.

I can tell you this, after reading this book and to be called a friend of sinners is a great compliment. I can't get over the feeling while reading this book how I was an enemy of the Lord and yet Jesus loved me into His fold. I am grateful, so why in the world would I possibly want to withhold that from anyone, especially my enemies? This book will stir you to think about the fact that we all need Jesus and those of us who have a relationship with Him, we need to make Him known so that others can get in on the goodness and love of Jesus Christ. When I die, I would love to know that people thought of me as a friend of sinners.

A great book reminding all that we love sinners but STILL HATE SIN. I worried he got close to the modern message of "Church is bad and our sin is not really", but he navigated albeit very closely. A great COMPANION to the Bible but of course not the SOURCE document.

I enjoyed this book. Reading this was my first exposure to Rich, his family and his church. Apparently they had a reality show on Oxygen Network! Definitely looking into that now that I’m done reading.
Friend of Sinners was a very eye opening read. It simplified so much of the Bible and made connections between different stories and Jesus’ Love that I wouldn’t have made before. Some great examples of how we can love our neighbor, friend, even enemy, and I believe it’s a message that is greatly needed in society today. I appreciated the quotes set in the margins that summarized the message on the given page and found myself highlighting several passages. I am taking the specific story of ‘even though a coin is lost, that does not lessen its value’ to heart. I will read that chapter over and over. So many lost coins in our lives, and they need to learn that they are still worth it to Jesus, and to us, to love.
Definitely recommended this book! I’ll be passing it along at church!
