Please note that this book is not for me - I have read the book, However I had to DNF and because i do not like to give negative reviews I will not review this book fully - there is no specific reason for not liking this book. I found it a struggle to read and did not enjoy trying to force myself to read this book. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for the opportunity to read this book |
Thank you to Avon for my copy of this book via Netgalley. This is the final part in the Ottercombe Bay series. In this final part, all the mysteries that have been weaved throughout this series are uncovered. There's quite a lot packed into only 98 pages. There is a very tense moment that had me on the edge of my seat. There's lots of romance in this final section. Bella's writing is heartwarming and full of humorous moments. This is a nice easy read and it was lovely to see Daisy get her happy ending and there were a few other characters that I was rooting for too. This was a great series and I can't wait to read more of Bella's series in the future! |
When I started reading this series I wasn't a massive fan of Daisy but she has grown on me a lot and I will miss her now I've finished this book, the last in the four part series! I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the different characters and watching their friendships grow and develop and I know I had the ending I wanted for Daisy in my head so I am delighted with how the book finishes. Definitely one of the nicest series of books I have read in a while, very easy to read and very relaxing - I really wish I could visit! Five stars from me for this one - the perfect end to and excellent series! |
This series has been published as a 4 part series. This is part 4. A good introduction to this author with interesting character's and plot. |
My Review: 4/5 I’m new to this series. Ottercombe Bay – Shaken and Stirred is the fourth and final book in the series. My only regret with reading this book, is I wish I would have started from the beginning! Although the author does a great job of filling in the holes of what happened in the previous stories, I wish I experienced the story from the very beginning. Pushing that aside, part four is a great book and a perfect conclusion. All ends are nicely tied together leaving the reader with zero questions. There is a little bit of everything, mystery, chick lit, and romance in this series. There is a great deal of chemistry and strong presence between all of the characters, from Daisy and her Aunt Coral, to Daisy and Max. Even Coral’s dog has presence! The moments with Bug made me laugh out loud. This was a very quick read, which will make it easy if you want a good, cozy book to read on your weekend getaway. Which is just what I’m going to do on my road trip later this month…read the past three books! It will make you laugh and cry, and leave you with a satisfied smile on your face. ***Thank you to the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. |
A great final installment to the series. These books were lovely light reads with a feel good to them. Glad Locos will continue to trade and that Daisy will be returning to Ottercombe Bay. |
Unfinished. I like book two of the series but this instalment didn't leave me hankering to get to the end. No offense to the author but this one just didn't click. |
I liked this series, I was sad to know there wouldn't be any more tales of Daisy, Max and all the friends and family in this small Devon town. Daisy has to either accept the story of how her mother died and stay in town or pick up her backpack and resume her wandering ways after her year of staying in one place. All 4 parts of this series are available in one volume, Coming home to Ottercombe bay. This is a nice, funny series that has a young woman learning to accept her past and forgive those who tried to protect her. I would recommend reading the first 3 books before starting this bone. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. |
Last book of the Ottercombe Bay series but not the least! I really enjoyed reading the 4 books of the series. I found this part 4 the best part of all them! The more you go into the series the better it becomes even if it's already addictive from part 1! I can say today that Bella Osborne is among my favorite authors and I can't wait to read her next book! I really recommend you the Ottercombe Bay series! you won't be disappointed! It's full of events, mysteries to be solved and romance! |
After reading Part Four I've reviewed the entire book: Daisy's back in her old hometown, but desperately wants to leave. There's plenty of history she doesn't want to be reminded of. Going to a funeral saddens her and catching up with old friends is nice, but Daisy doesn't want to be there any longer than she has to. Daisy's Great Uncle Reg found a way to make Daisy reconsider her stay in Ottercombe Bay though. They used to be close and after his death he left Daisy an old railway station. She can only claim her inheritance if she doesn't leave for an entire year. Daisy's wanderlust knows no bounds and putting down roots scares her. However, she decides to give it a try. Together with the help of her lovely aunt and good friends she might survive the year and it may even be better than she initially expected. Daisy has a building she can use and decides to turn it into a business. Making sure she has happy customers coming for a special drink is her new goal. Being a business owner keeps Daisy occupied and grounded. Ottercombe Bay might seem like a sleepy town, but there's a lot going on. Daisy finds herself in the middle of several mysteries. Uncovering secrets of the past and the present is a tough job. Will Daisy manage to ignore her itchy feet and make Ottercombe Bay her home for twelve months? Will she find happiness there eventually? Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay is a wonderful heartwarming story. Daisy is a fabulous woman. She has a fiery personality that I absolutely adored. I loved her spunk, her prickly nature and her resilience. She always knows what to say and she stands up for herself whenever she needs to. She's a fantastic main character with a lovely multilayered personality laced with pizazz and toughness, but with a sweet core. Bella Osborne skillfully explores Daisy's fascinating personality traits and the result is fun, fierce and captivating. She has a gorgeous sense of humor that makes the stubborn and dynamic Daisy a joy to read about. Bella Osborne skillfully combines humor, suspense and romance. Each aspect of her story has been well thought through and she effortlessly manages to keep the balance. She's in full control of her story and that shows. She uses people's flaws to make them interesting, she knows what real love feels like, her dialogue is witty and strong and she's great at dividing tension. She combines this with descriptions of a marvelous small town. I loved Ottercombe Bay, it's a stunning setting filled with terrific surprises. Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay is a true gem, it's a story to fall in love with. Bella Osborne's writing always puts a big smile on my face and I highly recommend this delightful book. |
I loved this book and eagerly awaited the next segment of the story. A surprise inheritance, lovely cast of characters, gorgeous location and a pug named Bugsy Malone make this a brilliant read. I was engrossed from part 1 and really loved the whole book. Highly recommended - perfect holiday read or sunday afternoon on the sofa. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review. |
The final instalment of the Ottercombe Bay series. This part (4) sums up the rest of the series and follows Daisy as she continues her adventure back at Ottercombe Bay. A light hearted read, entertaining and a great conclusion. |
I loved this entire series. I am sad to see it end. This is the 4th and final in the series. Its delightful, visually stunning and humorous. The charcters are all people you would want as friends and neighbors. Each book in the series is delightful. Thank you for this final read in a fantastic series. Well done to the author. |
Gelungener Abschluss dieser reizenden Serie. Die Beschreibungen Devons wirken so lebendig, als wäre man dort. Alle Fragen und losen Enden werden aufgeklärt. Wirklich schade, dass dies der letzte Band ist. |

this is the forth and final part of the Ottercombe Bay series. and what a series it has been. was really looking forward to reading the final instalment and it did not disappoint. I will give you a brief description of the series. Daisy is heading back to Ottercombe Bay after the death of her Great Uncle Reg. Her plan is to leave after the funeral, but at the reading of the will Daisy finds out that she has been left a big inheritance by Reg but it comes with a clause that Daisy has to stay in Ottercombe Bay for 12 months before she can claim her inheritance. this series shows that with the help of some friends, her aunt Coral and a crazy Maybe Daisy could make a success of the business she sets up, or will she decide after a year that she can't stay in Ottercombe Bay? this is a brilliant series that had me gripped and I loved getting to know all of the different characters in the book especially the quirky Tamsyn. I would highly recommend this series as its a great read. |
Bella Osborne definitely saved the best for last with Ottercombe Bay Part 4 Shaken and Stirred. Daisy is coming to the end of her year in Ottercombe Bay which means she can collect her inheritance, put the bar up for sale and head off on her travels. But will she? Part 4 of this series features plenty of drama, secrets being shared and truths being told. A lovely read that will leave you feeling warm inside. Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author for the chance to review. |
Daisy is reaching the end of her enforced year in Ottercombe Bay and will she stay or will she go? Has she finally solved the problem of her mother's locket and will love keep her here? A great ending to the series with all the loose ends tied up - I loved Daisy and her journey and really enjoyed the whole series - definitely a good beach/summer read as will all books by Bella Osborne |
Review: This is a lovely finish to the four-part series, which I was lucky enough to have it sent to me. I cannot praise this book highly enough. Bella Osbourne has really created a brilliant novel here and I cannot wait to read it again when it is released as a whole book. Ottercombe Bay (Part two and Part three) by Bella Osbourne |
Shaken and Stirred is the final part in this wonderful series. This is definitely my favourite part in the series, it was just so good! It's got plenty of romance in this last part and you finally finding out the mystery of her mother's death. It is such a sweet small town read that is perfect summer reading. Being as it's a 4 part series I would 100% recommend reading the first three parts you won't be let down such a satisfying conclusion! Definitely be buying the full novel when it is released this year. Kindly received a copy from the publishers via netgalley in exchange for an honest review. |
5☆ A Heartwarming Series, The Perfect End Part 4...Shaken and Stirred the final part. I have absolutely adored the Ottercombe Bay series but it was with a heavy heart I read the final instalment. I don't want to give anything away as part 4 really does tie up all the lose ends to the stories Bella has weaved within the book. So many wonderful characters you are wishing for a happy ending. With a good sparkle of romance and mystery will Daisy ever truly be happy, and will she gain her inheritance now she has been in Ottercombe Bay for a year. Will she stay or Will she run away? Will Daisy ever discover the truth about her mother's death and her mysterious necklace. If there is one series you decide to read this year then let it be the Ottercombe Bay series. I adore Bella's books her characters are always so real and her writing style is always so engaging, compelling and entertaining. This series really is the perfect escape from reality. I can't recommend it enough. |
