I just loved the final book in the Ottercombe Bay series. I read it in one setting and could not put it down, another great book by Bella Osborne.
A great finale book that ties up all the loose ends. A well deserved 5 stars from me.

In this the fourth part of Ottercombe Bay, Daisy’s dream of fixing up her Gin bar has come true. At the end of part 3 her former boyfriend came to visit, asking Daisy to hire a boat for him, which he took out onto the ocean, with no information to Daisy as to what he was up to.
Suspicions arose, and crime was foiled. Daisy still not sure of her relationship with Max, can’t cope when her Aunt goes away for a brief holiday, but Max gets through to her and she come to a realisation as to what she wants to do. As her time in the Bay is getting close to an end, she is planning on moving on and travelling, but will that mean she sells up, or will she decide to keep the Bar and make roots in the Bay permanently.
This is a very charming and enjoyable series. The light read is perfect for a break from the world.

Part 4 of 4.

After enjoying part 3 I was kind of disappointed by part 4, in which we finally discover who the thief is, the arsonist is uncovered, there's a daring police sting, and Daisy finds out the truth about her mother's death all those years ago.

Things I noticed in this episode which I had noticed in previous episodes but were particularly irritating in this one:

1. Both Daisy and Max spent half the book leaping to conclusions, usually the wrong ones, and NEVER learned. At one point I noted on my Kindle that the two of them could have entered a long jump competition with all the jumping they were doing!

2. Daisy was Judgey-McJudge face. At various times she judged: Max, Tamsyn, her Aunt Coral, her mother, and her father.

3. Bella Osborne has a strange turn for a simile, for example:
Her head was swimming with a jumble of facts, her emotions unexpectedly unleashed like a warring dragon in one of Tamsyn's fantasy books.
Overall, I do wonder how this serialisation would read as a single novel, would it flow well or do the cliffhangers feel oddly staged in a novel?

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

What a delight the Ottercombe Bay Series is! I thoroughly enjoyed each part and loved all of the characters right down to the pug. Each time another episode of the book became available I couldn’t help but pause with the current book I was reading, as I was so eager to get back to the story and the characters, each of whom I had come to care about. Loved it, thank you Bella Osborne!

This is the final part of the four books and simply is excellent great to come to the conclusion and full of finding the truth and romance and finding what you want with life. You have to read the first three books first and highly recommend it as they are amazing and so well written.
Daisy starts of with som Criminal activity and finds her ex is involved in and she still hasn't got to the bottom of her mothers death and the necklace she thought was her mothers but she starts digging and can she find out the truth and is it what she expected or not. Can everyone pull together and be happy or is everyone against each other. Can Daisy find her love and does she decide to move away as her year comes to an end or does she decide she can't sell up and move.
Well worth reading and you can really escape to seaside and find happiness.

I was so excited to read the 4th book in the Ottercombe Bay series. So much so I read it in one sitting. And it didn't disappoint. Infact it was even better than anticipated, with a few twists and turns thrown in for good measure along the way, giving the story that little something extra. I loved this series, the characters, the setting and the story. It's brilliantly written and it has you rooting for the main character from the outset. Loved it.

Wow, what an ending! I knew that the final novel in the series was going to be good but I didn't know it was going to be that amazing! When the last novel finished off, Daisy's ex was back on the scene, and leaving Daisy a little confused and Max a little suspicious. When this novella started, the action was from the off and I couldn't believe how much could be packed into a hundred (odd) pages!

We finally learn what happened to Daisy's mum after Bella Osbourne left us hanging in the first three and it was certainly interesting to find out. I feel like Bella wrapped up all the mysteries so well and almost effortlessly. I'm so happy with the way it ended, I was hoping that it would end like it did so of course this novella doesn't get any less than 5 stars from me. I feel like, after everything that Daisy had been through that she really deserved a happy ending. And I was also a bit shocked about her Aunt's own storyline!

The characters are all brilliant and the only thing is that I wish we read a bit more about Tamsyn in this one - she was one of my favourite characters, she was just so funny! I loved reading about the Gin/Hot chocolate bar as well - those hot chocolates sounded seriously delicious! I'm actually sad that there are no more parts to this story, but Bella Osbourne definitely ended it on a high. Overall, this story is heartwarming and seriously addictive. You'll read it in no time and I loved it.

Thank you to the publisher for a chance to read this novel via Netgalley, which I have reviewed honestly.

I read this short little book without having read the previous three. I understand that the whole four books will be published as one and I shall certainly be reading that once it's published as I am intrigued what happened before. The book on it's own does stand up to separate reading but would be better with the previous editions being read. It's written in a nice easy style, slightly cosy, with enough to keep one guessing how things will turn out. The characters are likeable and the sense of friendship comes through.with certain humour. Perfect summer holiday read but as the whole thing I feel and I shall look forward to it.

This is an author I have followed since her first release 'It Started at Sunset Cottage' and I am delighted to say that, as I hoped and expected, she is maturing into a writer of some stature.

With the fourth and final part of her 'Ottercombe Bay' series, Ms Osborne ties up the multiple threads running through her story seamlessly and beautifully. Our main protaganist Daisy gets the ending I hoped for and felt that she deserved, not that I'm going to go into any details here. And yes, Daisy does get my nomination for character of the year so far).

To surmise; this is a wonderfully presented tale that lives long in the memory and that should be rocketing t the top of your 'to-read' list. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Really enjoyed reading the final part of this series. Great set of characters who draw you in to the story. I will look forward to reading again as a complete book, rather than in the four parts.

This is the ending to Ottercombe Bay as it's split into 4. However only 1, 2 and 4 were available so 3 I missed.
So it's ended well with Daisy findingnout what happened to her mum when she died. There's a drug smuggling going on and she gets caught up in it all. The locket which was stolen is found not to be her mothers.
She realises she wants to stay and make something with Max. Happy ending to prove that she can stay there and be happy.
A nice read.. just a little weird not having no3.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the Publisher, Avon Books for this review copy given in exchange for an honest review.

This is Part 4 of the Ottercombe Bay series. Each part is novella sized, and all four parts will come together later in the year as one full length novel. If you haven’t read parts 1, 2 and 3 yet – then why not!!?? But seriously, I would recommend that they are read first before reading this final part to understand the storyline. Also, for information, this book is based in the fictional town of Ottercombe Bay which is in Devon, UK.

We return to Ottercombe Bay for the final part of what has been a fantastic series! To recap, Daisy returned to the Bay for the first time since her mother died for Great Uncle Reg’s funeral. Intending only to stay for a few days, Daisy discovers that Reg has left her an inheritance. The only snag is that Daisy must stay in Ottercombe Bay for one whole year before she can claim it as her own. The previous 3 instalments has followed Daisy throughout that year, and in this last part of the series we finally reach the end of that year. Did Daisy manage to stay in Ottercombe Bay? Did she ever find out what really happened to her mum? Will she find her ‘happy-ever-after’? This final instalment is bound to provide all those answers….isn’t it??

It was a strange mixture of excitement and disappointment when I saw this book. Excitement because I have absolutely loved this series, and disappointment because it’s the last part!! This final part wraps up everything nicely from the previous 3 instalments. I won’t spoil it by telling you what happens in this book but it is a lovely ending, absolutely perfect after following Daisy’s story for so long!

As, with the rest of the story, Bella has given us some fantastic writing. The story is heart-warming and romantic with so many laugh out loud moments! Daisy’s character has grown and grown over the space of these four instalments and by the end I can’t believe she’s the same character who turned up in Ottercombe Bay a year ago! I also have to give Bug the dog a special mention! I’ve loved Bug and all his antics and I nearly choked on my cup of tea with the command for him to get into his basket!! (You’ll understand when you read it!) If he ever needs a holiday, send him my way!!

A fantastic end to a fantastic series! I’ve loved every minute of it. Cock-a-doodle-doo!!

Part Four and the conclusion to the Ottercombe Bay series. Daisy finally finds out the missing pieces of her mom's death and the mystery behind the necklace. Bug and Daisy are no longer mortal enemies and seem to have worked out their issues. Daisy doesn't despise the little monster, I mean dog, and even tries to teach bug a trick. Aunt Coral and Tamsyn get their happy ending. Thankfully, Daisy manages to balance her traveling while also having a place to call home. She even gives love a try.

I really enjoyed the series. The characters were fun and the story-line was always interesting. I'm a little sad to see it end and say goodbye to Daisy. I definitely recommend the book and the whole series. I can't wait to read more by the author.

Thanks to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author, Bella Osborne, for a free electronic ARC of this novel.
