I love these seasonal sampler books, this one included some titles I was really looking forward to like Legendary and Fawkes. It also included a few sequels as well other installments from series' I haven't read. I skipped most of those to avoid spoiling them for myself in the event I ever decided to get into them.

As much as I enjoy these some that really hooked me I felt ended to soon lol! But it definitely had me adding even more books to my TBR pile for 2018!

Can't wait to see what will be included in the next seasons!

This is a really great resource (especially for bloggers like me!) to use to know what new releases are coming out and when. I especially liked reading the excerpts of a few of the new releases. They got me even more excited for their releases!

The Buzz Books always has a great bunch of books to check out, and it's my go-to for new titles I'd like to see in my library. It's a nice mix of debut and established authors, standalone and series, and different genres.

This pack has a great range of books, and I sure do still love Young Adult even though I'm not that age anymore. I've now added Orphan Monster Spy, Furyborn, Frat Girl, and Sky In The Deep. I'm so excited for these reads.

This is the first Buzz Books YA that I requested and it definitely made me aware of some interesting reads that wouldn't have appeared on my radar otherwise! Some of these are definitely going to be on my TBR-pile. All there are some pretty amazing books coming out!

I love BuzzBooks previews. Now that I'm a small business owner, I know how to prepare for my customer's needs in the following quarter. It will be best to get full ARCs/galleys of these books, but now I have a better idea of which I can skip and which to watch out for. Thank you!

If you’re interested in reading a sample of up-and-coming books, Buzz Books is a good option. This is the Young Adult Spring/Summer 2018 edition, but they also have adult fiction and seem to come out twice a year. Since it’s made to promote new books, Amazon offers this and older versions very cheaply or free. At the time of writing this (May 2018), Amazon.ca is offering free Kindle editions.

I found it very helping in learning about some new books to look further into to my school library.

This one includes fantasy, romance, some middle grade content, and historical fiction.

More specifically: Fawkes (Nadine Brandes), The Boy from Tomorrow (Camille DeAngelis), Brightly Burning (Alexa Donne), Unbreakable (Sara Ella), Legendary (Stephanie Garber), Chemistry Lessons (Meredith Goldstein), Orphan Monster Spy (Matt Killeen), Furyborn (Claire Legrand), Twelve Steps to Normal (Farrah Penn), Frat Girl (Kiley Roache), Reclaiming Shiloh Snow (Mary Weber), and Sky in the Deep (Adrienne Young).

A copy of this book was provided by Netgalley for an honest review.

The overall verdict of the 12 excerpts were the following: 2 (skipped --- unread series), 4 (not interested in picking up), 3 (bought/buying), 1 (read on NetGalley already), and 2 (borrowing from the library). So, I am interested in 6 and not interested in 4. In addition, I did add the Unblemished series to my Goodreads "Want to Read."

Fawkes by Nadine Brandes: Not interested. I thought the concept was interesting and original, I just was not intrigued and did not care for the writing style. This probably is personal reading taste though.

The Boy From Tomorrow by Camille DeAngelis: I was captivated. I immediately looked it up and borrowed it on NetGalley. It is a Middle Grade novel about two children 100 years apart. I gave the book 4 stars. Really interesting.

Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne: Jane Erye retelling.... in space, count me in. I have this on hold at my local library!

Unbreakable by Sara Ella: I skipped this... I am interested in the series though.

Legendary by Stephanie Garber: Caraval was not my favorite read last year (gave it 3 stars), but this excerpt had my interest. The ideal of the tarot cards and predicting fate was really captivating. Tella is also full of personality and humor compared to Scarlett.

Chemistry Lessons by Meredith Goldstein: Not interested. Her boyfriend broke up with her due to being interested in someone else.. so she wants to find the equation for love? No thanks.

Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen: I skipped. I tried reading it, but it was confusing. Historical fiction is not my genre.

Furyborn by Claire Legrand: Already pre-ordered and on my TBR! Can not wait.

Twelve Steps to Normal by Farrah Penn: I was expecting to not enjoy this excerpt, but I was pleasantly surprised. I really like the character development and the emotions portrayed in this excerpt. I plan on borrowing from my library.

Frat Girl by Kiley Roache: I liked the author's writing style and the topic was interesting. I just found the excerpt to be meh. I may or may not pick up this book depending on the reviews it gets after release date.

Reclaiming Shilo Snow by Mary Weber: Skipped -- unread sequel

Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young: The SHORT, TOO SHORT excerpt made me want to buy the book right away. Like literally only reason I did not is because it is in a book box I'm receiving. The character and world description was so vivid and wonderfully written. A must read.

Buzz Books’ guides to upcoming books are the Michelin Guides for star writers, ranging from the debut authors who have yet to earn more than one star, to the 5 star authors whose name alone guarantees that the book will be a best seller. “Buzz Books 2018: Spring/Summer,” and “Buzz Books 2018: Young Adult Spring/Summer,” are such guides. They are cornucopias of lists of new fiction, new memoirs, and new biographies, to name only a few of the broader categories, that will be published from March through August 2018. They also include samples of many of the books. If you love reading, and/or love being part of the intelligentsia set, download these guides at http://buzz.publishersmarketplace.com.

Like always this book series is such an informative look on what book releases are coming up. Sometimes it's hard to stay up to date with everything and it's really resourceful having everything in one place. Plus the extracts help me decide what I am or aren't interested in.

After reading some of the stories I became interested in quite a few of the titles. Hoping my library will acquire a few.

Thank you to Net Galley for the opportunity to read and provide an honest review on this series of Buzz Books.

This is my first encounter with Buzz Books and I was excited to find many books and authors that my tweenager and I would enjoy together. Thank you for adding some great excerpts from previously (to me) unheard authors. The growing TBR lead just got loads bigger. After reading some tasters I can't wait to read the complete books.
