I really liked the premise of this book, but the follow-through was cheesy and uninspiring. The writing was just... not good. Because of this, I will not be posting a starred review on Goodreads.

-Characters. I LOVED the idea of the characters, particularly the sweet f/f romance. I also liked the twins, and their relationship with their mom. Actually, both moms were great in this book.
-I liked the idea of the moon forcing evolution, and I feel like this created an interesting caste system among the lunar residents.
-I liked the premise of Deshopping Cart.

Everything else was meh. The world-building was difficult to follow, and it wasn't always easy to visualize the settings from the writing. I think there was the moon, a junkyard, and some sort of VR-obsessed capital. I just found the narrative clunky.

I generally try not to DNF books from NetGalley, but this one wasn't happening. I was so disappointed, because the premise sounded so fascinating...but the characters and the world building were weak and not working very well at all. It's possible that some people may be able to look past that and enjoy the relationship that was building up, but I wasn't able to do that, so I can't really recommend it to any of the teens here.

This was...not good. The world building was super nonsensical, and the writing was stilted and gimmicky, trying to hard to sound like a teen voice but never coming even remotely close.

I wanted to enjoy this book, truly I did, but the story's beginning makes it sound like one of the Maximum Ride books with the Very Important Environmental Message embedded in it. I could not sympathize with the main character or become invested in her story, which is unfortunate as I think the premise is really interesting.
