These authors continue to amaze and entertain me. What a fabulous book! I was originally concerned that the book started with Dracula. But my concern was quickly overwritten with a well thought out action packed story. There is a nice blend of history and modern day. I will be looking up for the foreseeable future! .Loved the little fact at the start of each chapter. This book is sure to be another hit for this writing duo. |
Another winner. Mike and Nicholas are back in England taking some much needed time off together to explore their new relationship when someone starts to assassinate important British people. Suddenly, the Covert Eyes group is needed as high tech meets old world myth, and everyone is in danger. Plenty of action, some humor thrown in, and twists that no one can see coming. Cameos from Sherlock, Savich, and the gang are always an added bonus. I couldn't put this book down, and continue to look forward to more installments. |

This is another compelling thriller/mystery in the Brit in the FBI series. This one involves ancient writings as understood by a madman who inflicts his mania on the world, injuring, killing, and putting many at risk. Nicholas and Mike rush in to help and unravel what is happening. This is a quick read, but with a complex back story regarding the Voynich Manuscript and hemophilia. I love this series, but found this one not quite as engaging as the prior books - I'm not really sure why, it just took me longer to get into it - but by the time I was a third through the book, I was completely engrossed in the story. Fans of the genre will want to read this novel. The authors are on my must read authors' list. |
