This story didn't really click with me...playing football in heaven, etc.... In trying to make heaven easier to relate to, it seemed to, inadvertently, make heaven and Jesus less that what they are.

This is an adorable picture book with a beautiful poem. Though I haven’t heard the original inspiration song or know of it , the message and the words are just beautiful. Regardless of any faith we believe in or any God we believe in this picture book conveys a beautiful message. Thank you Net Gallery for providing an advance copy of this book to me

The Christian worship song I Can Only Imagine has touched countless lives as it invites listeners to ponder what it will be like when we get to Heaven and are in the presence of Christ. Will we dance in His presence? Will we be able to speak at all?

The new children's book, I Can Only Imagine begins with the famous lines of the song. The story then takes on a rhyming pattern as readers explore the song from the perspective of a child.

I loved the colorful and inviting illustrations. I enjoyed the way they brought the story to life and immersed me in the thoughts of the child in the book.

I enjoyed this book and the way it took a song I grew up listening to and took it from the perspective of a child, in a book for them. I think this is a great book for children, but also for adults as it gave me a different perspective on a song I have listened to for years.

A delightful childrens book with a wonderful message! Starting with the first part of the song by the same name, the rhyming text takes a look at what heaven may be like through a child's eyes. Imaginative and creative, this would be a perfect way to talk to a child in their terms about the hereafter, taking away some of the fear of the unknown. Assuring them also that we can have a relationship with God in the here and now also.
The colorful pictures match what a child may enjoy doing, such as eating ice cream, playing outside, singing together over a campfire. I love the idea of God singing over us and with us. "I wonder the name of God's favorite song?"
This would be a good gift or addition to anyone's library for children, or in a Sunday School. Recommend!

Great book for a son or daughter to read. Perfect to go along with Mercy Me's song I Can Only Imagine.
