Bearing His Name -Eve Langlais
Owned By The Lion - Milly Taiden
No Need For Love - Kate Baxter
The second book I have read containing books by these three authors. I love all of them but find their stories in these books missing something. In saying that I would still say if you read these authors give this book a read

Bearing his name:
Did not find this book to be believeable. The main character Ark would be arrested in real life! Inappropriate, pushy and downright unlikeable at times. Just couldn’t get into this story.
Owned by the Lion:
A little better written, a playboy Lion discovers his good friends sister is his mate. The only problem is she sees him as a man-whore and not as a potential mate. He has to find ways to let her know he is serious. Cute story and happy ending.
No need fur love:
A werewolf has the tables turned on him when he meets his mate who is only interested in “hit it and quit it”. Though it’s obvious he means something to her, she has things to do which do not include him. He sets out to change her mind as a life without her means death for him. Good story.
3.5 stars overall

What a great collection! I liked each book which is always a pleasant surprise. Bearing his name was the usual funny, engaging romance from Eve Langlais. Owned by the Lion reminded me a lot of the Sassy Mates series, which I loved. I have never read Kate Baxter, but was so pleased! I felt like No Need Fur Love was really neat. I read a lot of paranormal romance, not a lot of wood nymphs there. There was a lot of action and it was a really quick read.

I loved all three stories. Eve Langlais books always bring a smile to your face. I love that the main character Ark wanted to find a woman he thought he might have impregnated. It turns out that the sister was his mate. He was very happy. Good story. Milly Taiden always writes a great shifter story. One of my favorites. Ally was annoyed by Keir (a lion shifter) who turns out to be her mate. These women really fought against the whole idea. Still a good story. The last story by Kate Baxter was just as good- Owen was a werewolf who fell for a wood nymph who just needed to get pregnant by anyone to lead her tribe. Her father has gone around the bend a little bit and needs to be taken down.
I loved all three stories. I got this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

Bearing His Name
By Eve Langlais

Cute and funny dialogue between Ark and Jade. Timeline of events moved quickly but it's expected in shifter romances. Loved the whole great big Greek family. Fun group. Chemistry between Jade and Ark was constant and hot. Overall a very fun story.

A cute and fun story. Ally and Keir were cute together. Chemistry was smoking hot. A little emotional at times with situations between Ally and her mom but overall an entertaining read.

No Need Fur Love
By Kate Baxter

I really enjoyed this wolf shifter story. Owen, the wolf shifter just found his mate but all she wants is a one night stand. And she's also a supernatural being but not a wolf shifter so that little twist was new and interesting to me. I won't tell you want she is because I don't want to spoil the story but it was an interesting development. A very entertaining read.

I read this first book Thanks Fur last Night so was tres excited to get my hands on this! Great mix of three separate worlds in one fantabulous book.

Bearing His Name by Eve Langlais - When Jade sets about blackmailing Ark and his family, who she believes impregnated and then abandoned her sister, she does not count on Ark searching her out..or that he'd make things really complicated and tell her SHE is his mate!

Owned by the Lion by Milly Taiden - Take one best friends little sister, add one hot lion shifter boss and you have a great story!

No Need Fur Love by Kate Baxter - Owen's pack moved to the idle of nowhere, Idaho to ensure they didn't have any territory wars with other packs. Pity he didn't know about the Wood nymphs nearby who have claimed the very same land!

Loved these. Great way to dip back and forth between the series. Great writing, witty dialogue and great action!

These three book were really hot!!! I just love reading a fantasy novel as well as a book that contains shifters in it. These three books was not the same as the previous shifter novels that I read where male and female can shift. In these books it is only the males that shift. I love the idea that you can immediately identify you mate, only in an ideal world will we not have to go through the heartache of multiple romances until you find your hopefully true love.
I loved all the characters as well as the writing style of all three the lady authors. These books were about different characters by different authors but it felt to me as if the books flowed seamlessly one into the other. I did not struggle to start reading the next story in the book. I would definitely pick up a book by one of these authors again.

BEARING HIS NAME:

Oh the thoughts that go on in Ark's mind, “not until we talk.” And maybe kiss. He wasn’t averse to groping either." Ark was just entertaining as heck, "Ark stopped shaking and stared the fellow in the eye. “You heard my woman. Speak.” Ark is a persistent one, “I would prefer to live in sin too.” He shrugged . “But my aunts and mother will have something to say about that. You’ll meet them soon.” I loved this story it was full of so much humor.

OWNED BY THE LION:

Keir has no problem almost giving his woman a heart attack and sneak up on her, “I’ve been saying the same thing to myself since the moment I met you. Control seems to be the one thing I lack lately,” Keir whispered from behind her." Keir thinks outside the box, “I didn’t want to bring you flowers again, so I thought this would be fun,” he said as he held up a small tan kitten. “It’s a mini lion,” he joked bashfully. “So even if I’m not here, you won’t be alone completely.” I liked this novella Keir would do anyrhing for his woman.

NO NEED FUR LOVE:

Owen just has not patience at times, “Yeah. I need to get you upstairs. Now. I’m dying to eff you.” Owen has no qualms about running around in the buff, "werewolves don’t have a lot of use for clothes during a full moon. Be back soon. Lock the door when I leave.” I liked this novella I loved Owen.

I enjoyed this book, it was a nice read. The stories felt a little bit "cramped" if that makes any sense. I thought that each story had too much in such a short space. Maybe they could have been changed to fit better into the shorter story or maybe they should have been longer stories - I can't quite make up my mind. All in all though I did like the stories and they kept me amused for a weekend.

Bearing His Name by Eve Langlais
Meeting his mate should have been cause for celebration. There’s just one teeny tiny problem. Jade thinks Ark might have impregnated her sister. He didn’t, but convincing Jade is going to take a bit of honey.

Owned by the Lion by Milly Taiden
Keir’s been told to stop playing the field and settle down—difficult advice for a hard and hot man with a lion’s heart to follow. But his sights have always been set on Ally. She’s his mate, plain and simple. With her sweet and delicious curves, she’s nothing but sugar and trouble all rolled into one. But he’s known her and sparred with her for years. She’s his best friend’s little sister, and it’s going to take a whole new level of convincing that he’s the mate for her.

No Need Fur Love by Kate Baxter
Moving with his pack to the tiny town of Stanley, Idaho has Owen Courtney a little on edge. With literally no women in sight, Owen will be lucky to find a date, let alone his true mate. But you know the saying about a werewolf walking into a bar…
Gorgeous wood nymph Mia Oliver is on a mission: Find a suitable male to get her good ‘n pregnant and provide her with an heir. But when Mia decides to pick up a gorgeous and oh-so-willing werewolf at the bar, she realizes she might be in over her head.

This is an anthology by Eve Langlais, Milly Taiden, and Kate Baxter. All stories can be read alone and don't require you to read any other stories in order to make sense although I recommend reading the anthology published before this one (Thanks Fur Last Night) by the same authors as the characters in Milly Taiden's book and Kate Baxter's book were seen in there.

Book 1 is Bearing His Name by Eve Langlais. It's about a bear shifter name Ark and a woman named Jade. Jade thinks Ark got her sister pregnant and then just left her. After she sends letters to multiple men in his family saying they need to step up and face their responsibilities, Ark sets out to find the woman who sent the letters. Never knowing that he would meet his mate and have to face a major problem from the get go.

I absolutely loved this story! Most of Ms. Langlais book's make me laugh anyway and this one was no different! Ark completely cracked me up to the point I was crying I was laughing so hard at some of his antics! When you add in Jade and her family? It made everything great! I really hope to see some books about his cousins and brothers at some point!

Book 2 is Owned By The Lion by Milly Taiden. We saw Keir and Ally in the previous anthology. Keir is Xander's best friend and business partner. Ally is the little sister of one of their best friends. Keir is a womanizer through and through. Until he meets Ally and realizes that this is his mate. Ally had always heard about Keir but never actually met him. And although she is attracted to him she doesn't want to be just a notch on someone's bed post.

This is another one that I truly enjoyed. There are parts of Keir that I didn't like but it made him the person he is in the book. I'm not a fan of men that sleep around as much as he did, and with the women saying and doing what they do to Ally-that is why. However, he didn't sleep around because he is a jerk or to be mean or anything like that. He does explain how he felt and why he acted the way he did. Ally is sweet but she has a backbone of steel! She steps up and does anything and everything she can for the people she loves. And when they work out their differences and truly are sync, it just made the whole story for me. Great read!

Book 3 is No Need Fur Love by Kate Baxter. This is another one that we saw the main character, Owen Courtney, in the previous book and he is the Beta to that character in their wolf pack. He doesn't believe he will find his mate and isn't sure what he or the other males in the pack are going to do. Until Mia Oliver walks into the bar he is in to try to find someone to knock her up so she can have some sort of power and say in what happens to her people. Her father refuses to let her have any say until she provides an heir. Or so he says. Little do either of them know just how much their lives will change.

I absolutely loved this one from start to finish! Owen finds his mate but there are so many obstacles that they have to push through and past that you never know whether they are going to truly make it or if something will break them before they can truly be happy and together. Owen is strong but loving, and will stand beside his mate through anything. Once Mia realizes that she truly has found her mate, she stands tall and will do anything to try to make sure that not only her people but her love has a chance to survive. Even if it's from the person who should love and protect you no matter what. Another great read!

All in all, I truly loved all 3 stories. All 3 authors are always great reads and this one was in no way a disappointment!

all 3 novellas take their own spin on the shifter world & fated mates and work as stand alone stories (although Milly & Kate's stories to follow along after their stories in the prior antho). while I had trouble liking Jade in Eve's story, Ark & his relations were great & more than made up for it. I enjoyed watching Kier pay for his playboy past while he attempted to woo & win Ally over. while occasionally uneven, the story had a nice overall mix of humor, sweet & sexy. Kate's story was the best of the 3 for me in this antho. It was nicely paced, good mix of humor, romance & action, and Owen turned out to be a sweetheart and watching Mia realize just what it was she really wanted was and enjoyable read.

Bears, Lions and Wolves ....... OH MY!!!
Four star across for all three novellas. Stunningly sweet as well as at times humorous story lines with amazing characters. Great steamy easy reading for those that enjoy shifter romances. This collection is truly a wonderful add to any library. They can be read again and again through the years. The novellas are each a worthy work by brilliantly creative authors. I voluntarily wrote this review. I was given this arc via NetGalley. . Regards, Anna Swedenmom

I loved these novellas. There are 3 novellas in this book. These are also the second set of these 3 novellas. You don't have to read the first book to read this one but I highly suggest you do. All 3 of these books are hot!!I believe I love supernatural books because I wish in the real world that there is a guy out there that would love me like these men love their mates. All 3 of these novellas are fun, sexy and quick reads!!

Thank you to St. Martin’s Griffin and NetGalley for providing the arc. This in no way affects my review of this book.

They all can’t be winners.

Before you go. 2 Stars. This quote sums up this book “In that moment, Jade quite felt like Alice. She’d fallen down a hole of some kind, a bear hole with crazy ladies smelling of baked goods at the bottom.” I felt the same as I read this book. I wasn’t sure what was going on and didn’t connect with characters Jade was annoyed with Ark for most of the book, continually telling him she didn’t want him. He on the other hand, immediately said “me bear, you mate”. I like shifter novels, however, I have a hard time with how he continually disregarded her feelings because he knew better. There wasn’t any chemistry or reasoning for her to fall in love with him.

Owned by the lion. 2.5 Stars. It was ok but I wasn’t really invested in the characters. It can be read as a stand-alone but I may have been more connected if I read the first book. I did like how the male characters were protective of their mates but weren’t over the top alpha. One peeve I have with romance novels is when instead of describing the feeling during sex, the author has the characters state what’s they’re going to do to each other. It ruined the scenes for me.

No need fur love. 1 star. This book took place in 3 days and the author jammed as much as possible in those three days. A wood nymph needs to find a random guy to impregnate her so she can take a leadership position in her band with her egomaniac father. She finds a guy in a bar, who’s a werewolf, and has a one night stand. Werewolf realizes in an instant wood nymph is his mate but she runs off. Fast forward through a few chapters and we have the ending where she runs her father off during a fight with the werewolves and everyone lives happily ever after. There wasn’t any character development and I found myself skimming most of the book.

Bearing his Name by Eve Langlais.. 4.5 stars
Jade's sister shows up pregnant and she doesn't know who the father is. She only remembers him wearing a toga and there were several there that night wearing the same costume. She sends out notes to them all and one day Ark shows up. Ark is a bear shifter but one look at Jade and he knows she's his mate. It will take a lot to convince her because she doesn't believe in happily ever afters. Someone is after her sister and they try to hide her but they keep finding her until Jade is taken and will be traded for Ruby, her sister. Ark goes wild but gets her back and takes her to his home. Can the big bear convince her they are meant to be?
Good story. Ark was a little dramatic and goofy acting. Jade see saws back and forth between wanting him and not believing they can make it. She pulls him in with one hand and pushes him away with another. Ark and Jade could be funny at times and the sex was hot. Told in third person with both pov.

OWNED BY THE LION by Milly Taiden.... 5 stars
Ally opens a new office for her company. Keir works for a financial company and knows Ally is his mate right away. The thing he has to do is convince her because of his previous manwhore ways. It takes a lot of convincing but she has strong feelings for Keir but doesn't want to be one of his one night stands. They both go to the matesforhire.com and are matched. Ally needs money for her mother's chemo treatments for a trial experiment, that's why she signed up to be a mate for two weeks. Can Keir convince her she's the only one for him?
Loved the story. Romantic, hot, funny, and a little sad. Ally is curvy and beautiful. Keir is hot and a lion shifter. Told in third person with both pov.

NO NEED FUR LOVE by Kate Baxter.. 5 stars
Mia is a wood nymph and her father has given her an ultimatum....in order to be a member of the ruling nymphs... produce an heir or he'll find a mate for her. So she goes out to a bar looking for a man to have sex with. She never expected Owen, a werewolf shifter. Owen is down because his Alpha found his mate but doesn't think he will until Mia sits down beside him. He and his wolf knows she's their mate but she only wants a one night stand hoping to get pregnant. When she tells her father she's with an heir, he tells her she'll never help rule the nymphs. He found out there are werewolves in the area, he wants them run out. He plans to attack on the full moon and Mia must decide if she helps her mate or her father.
Good story. A feisty wood nymph and a sexy as sin werewolf. Short but very hot. Told in third person with both pov.

I was excited to read this anthology after reading the first one from Netgalley. Each story continued in the same world from the first book, so characters were familiar. I really enjoyed each book and I’m looking forward to reading the third later this year.
