"Leilani dreams of being friends with the most popular girls in her class—the Haileys—who are always throwing awesome themed sleepovers. She devises a master plan: throw her own sleepover of the century and invite them!"
This was sweet, middle grade story. Characters were very unique and quirky. I really liked this book, and think it would make a great addition to any school library!

I have been having my children summer read these books! So far they have loved everyone one of them. I t is nice to see them read outside their usual comfort zone!

I think this will be well received because many people/kids can relate to someone in the story. I can relate to it as an adult and as a teacher/librarian with the many spellings of the same name! I loved having sleepovers at that age as well, it brings back many memories!

I have to admit, I didn't really like this book to start with. The main character was a selfish brat who couldn't see the good things in front of her. BUT... as the book went on, I found myself unable to put this down. The other characters in the book were all lovable in their own warped way. I can see students at school relating on one of the characters and learning from them. This book deals with issues very common the kids these days. I ended up really liking this book and will definitely purchase it for my library and can see it being popular.
