This is a second chance romance for high school sweethearts, Tanner and Lauren. Tanner injured himself on the rodeo circuit bull riding and Lauren is the physical therapist that Tanner's sister hired to help him recover.

I liked the interaction between the characters and the setting. This was a great summer read.

I received a complimentary ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you!

A true second chance romance. For me this one just missed the mark a bit and I also found the heroine to be a bit annoying at times. Otherwise well written and engaging story. If you really like second chance romances then this one will hit home for you.

I haven't read the other book in this series but this was a standalone so I wasn't missing out.

One of my not so secret guilty pleasures is when a main character in the story is injured in some way and the love interest is either their physical therapist, trainer, doctor or something. I don't know why but I just love those stories. I guess you could say Florence Nightingale genre or something. Anyway, this story is that and a second chance romance with some laughs and sadness thrown in.

A great story and an awesome series from what I can tell! Another guilty pleasure is the small town romances or where there's a ranch or something. And again this book has it. Definitely keeping my eye out for more of this series!

I do love second chance romances and cowboys, throw in a tropical island setting and some great chemistry and this was an enjoyable read.

Tanner and Lauren lacked nothing in the chemistry department. From their teenage romance days to their tryst on the tropical island, these two were perfect together…if all a relationship needed was chemistry. Unfortunately, their break-up at the end of high school has left Tanner angry and Lauren full of regret, and I had my doubts about these two ever being able to reconcile the past – especially when they “agree” to a no-strings affair while they are supposed to be focusing on Tanner’s therapy and then having a bit of romance find its way into the mix.

I did enjoy this read but found myself frustrated at times with the characters, especially since you knew there were real feelings between them but it was their own stubbornness to address the issues from the past that kept them from a much easier happily ever after. I don’t mind characters having to work for it, but boy did these two makes things hard! I think that caused this book to drag at times for me, mostly when they were on the island where I found myself skipping parts since the love/hate no-strings relationship got a bit tedious, knowing that there was so much more between them than either would admit and confront.

I loved seeing the sweet parts of Tanner come out throughout the book. He’s real and genuine and uses his wealth to help others. And boy did I love him at the end – the reckless boy from his childhood made things right and did so with a grand gesture!

A good read that would be perfect for anyone looking for a bit of angst with a healthy dose of sexy bull-riding cowboy!

This is the second book in this series but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this cowboy as this novel acts like a standalone. I enjoyed this novel just as much as I enjoyed the first one. As they say, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas well, what happens in Fuji was more than both parties had planned. They couldn’t contain what happened in Fuji to just Fuji, so what happened in Fuji followed them home.

They were high school sweethearts until Lauren called it off suddenly. Tanner took the break-up hard and has held a grudge against Lauren for years. Lauren couldn’t tell Tanner exactly why she broke up with him but her feeling towards him have never changed. It is now twelve years later and Tanner has just taken a hard fall. A well-known professional bull rider, Tanner has made his way to the top again only to be trampled by his competitor, Thunder Cat. After hospitalization, Tanner needs therapy from what the bull has done to his body and he needs the best. After some negotiation from both parties, it is agreed that Tanner will meet Lauren in Fuji where she was headed for vacation. Tanner will get his therapy and they both will enjoy some needed vacation, separately.

Lauren is all professional and business-like when they meet which disturbs Tanner. Tanner wants to air out the past and then move forward, whereas Lauren just wants to start Tanner’s therapy and enjoy her time in Fuji. It doesn’t take long for Tanner to make the first move on Lauren and the hardheaded woman, reciprocates. It’ funny how Lauren tries to get all professional again but her mind and body are thinking something totally different. After some serious thought the two of them come up with a plan. Why not have some fun in Fuji and then leave it in Fuji? Their time there is, well you can imagine. When it is time to head back into reality, it’s time to put the brakes on this adventure and get back to work. Afterall, they both have respectable jobs that they have worked hard to achieve.

Lauren goes back home to her job and Tanner goes to his parent’s ranch where he can get some assistance while he continues healing. Being in close proximity to each other has its advantages and disadvantages as now, they can’t put the past few weeks behind them. They each know that they have pressing job with major commitments to attend to. Being together is complicated but together they have a great connection and they are good together. Do they really have a future together or are they just kidding themselves?

I liked the seriousness of the characters and the fun that they had together. I liked how they were devoted to their careers and how they strived to achieve their goals. I liked how mature they were when thinking about their lives and reality, sure they could have some fun while on vacation but they both decided it would be short-lived and they both were willing to do that. It was a fun novel. I really enjoyed reading it. I suggest you read the first novel in the series also but it is not necessary to enjoy this one.

I received a copy of this novel from NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press in exchange for an honest review.

Tanner Ford, Mia's brother (previous book), is a champion bulls rider.
He was participating in the Professional Bulls Rides World Finals, in Vegas, when Thunder Cat, the bull, manages to knock him down.
Back at his father's farm, Tan will need the help of a physical therapist if he wants to return to competition - something his family does not want to happen.
Mia seems to be the only one who understands Tan's need to decide when it's time to retire.
To help his recover, Mia seeks the best professional in the field of sports therapy.
Tanner accepts the help, until he discovers that the therapist is none other than Lauren Lewis, his sweetheart in High School, and the girl who broke his heart when she broke up with him shortly before going to College, without explaining.

Lauren - or Lol - was very good at her job, and she worked hard to earn her reputation with the Rangers.
Now she was about to go on vacation in Fiji island when Mia contacted her.
Lauren knew it would not be easy to be close to Tanner again, but his rehab would be a challenge she would not refuse.

In the midst of the local paradise, while rehab was taking place, Tanner and Lauren decide they could have a 'fling' while on the island.
But when they returned home, Tanner, knowing that everything he felt for her had returned with full force, preferred to dismiss her service.

But when he learned the real reason why she felt compelled to end their relationship years ago, Tanner goes on to analyze whether it was not even the best decision at the time, and if he was willing to regain the love of his life, he would have to prove that he was not just an inconsequential bull rider who had the facilities in life for being born rich.

Cowboy romances are fun, as long as the characters stay relateable...and in this case, the story of Tanner and Lauren worked well, as Lauren is not fully a part of the daily life on the ranch, she has a career that has nothing to do with the ranch.

I enjoyed this overall, and once I got over the idea that the only possible person able to help Tanner was Lauren, and that they had to go on a swanky vacation in order to do it. Once I let go of this and just decided to go with it, I enjoyed this title overall. I liked that they had a history, and I enjoyed the tension this added to their story.

The book was well written, and the characters felt authentic and realistic. There is some overlap from characters in the first story, but it is not necessary to have read the first title in the series to enjoy this one.

This is a romantic and entertaining story. Tanner is determined, funny, bold and unforgiving. Lauren is stubborn, a workaholic and kind. When they meet after 12 years, the hurt and anger Tanner felt when she left him rose to the surface, and the determination that she did the right thing was what Lauren repeatedly told herself. Much to the dissatisfaction of both, the insane attraction they both felt is still there, and very hard not to act on. They both try to fight against their feelings, but both are losing fast. It's an interesting storyline with a great twist towards the end.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

All Night with the Cowboy by Soraya Lane is a very enjoyable, heartwarming read.
The writing is well done, the storyline entertaining and I loved watching Tanner and Lauren get their second chance at love.

All Night with the Cowboy is a lovely addition to the River Ranch series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them.

There is always that one relationship that you wish you could do over, and Tanner was destroyed when his relationship with Lauren ended. Her family wanted her to get her education and Tanner was a rough and tumble rodeo rider, who they felt was going nowhere.

Years later Tanner gets injured and Lauren is the best physical therapist to help him get back on Broncs. What better place to recover than in Fiji. The old attraction is near impossible for them to ignore. They just have to decide if their connection is worth risking both their careers and if they can get over the reasons why they broke up initially. Lots of chemistry and heat!

"All Night with the Cowboy" (River Ranch Book 2) by Soraya Lane is a great read. I loved Tanner and Lauren's story. This was the first time I've read this author's work and it won't be the last. This story has romance, passion, second chances, hot cowboys, entertaining characters, close family, and more. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in this series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, cowboys, second chances, and series.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆☆
This is the second book in the series, and we get to meet up with Mia and Sam, who star in book one, but as this centres around her brother, Tanner, it is not essential to have read that book first.

Tanner has always done his own thing and resisted all attempts to change his career to something less dangerous than being the best bull rider in the world. Even a serious accident will not deter him – in fact, his stubbornness makes him even more insistent. Little does he realise that his one true (but lost) love will be the PT helping him recover his strength. On an idyllic island in Fiji. Of course, Soraya Lane plots her romances with great skill, and we know that the layers of animosity will need some serious conversations to resolve, but the chemistry is going to burn through any issues they may have about getting all close and personal again!

There is a lot of growing up going on in this story, especially given the protagonists are just entering their thirties. Emotional maturity got stifled by what happened between them at 18, and it is great fun and very hot watching them reigniting the flame, and then deciding what they actually want from each other. Inevitably there are more hurdles to climb, but I love how the story unfurled.

I highly recommend this book to you, it would be perfect beach reading, but also good curled up in front of the fire! An interesting mix of sports, cowboys, and hot romance.

This is Book 2 in the River Ranch series. It can be read as a stand-alone. This is also the first book by this author that I’ve read before. It was a really good book.
Tanner has a career of riding bulls and broncos, but he may have come to an end. He refuses to give up. His family hires Lauren to by his physical therapist. This is good because she’s the best. This is bad because she left him behind years ago. Can he get past his bitterness and move forward? Can she resist him again? The chemistry is still there between them, but do they want to do to anything with it? This was such a good 2nd romance story and you will enjoy reading it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I read the preceding book in this series, and this one is just as good. The ending was a little too quickly wrapped up for my liking, but I did like it overall.

All Night With the Cowboy by Soraya Lane combines some of my favorite things: second chances and beautiful islands (Fiji). Tanner needs the best help he can find to recover from a devastating injury after his last bull ride. Lauren is the best sports physical therapist around. Unfortunately she broke his heart twelve years ago. Tanner’s road to recovery, and the road to healing both their hearts, goes through Fiji where the island works its magic on everyone. This second chance romance is a must read.

I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book

I found this book to be very interesting. It took me a little bit to get into it only because I hate when characters can't let go of the past...but once the characters started to live in the present I was 100% on board.

Overall a pretty good book, I am happy that I did not give up on it because they were a great couple.

“I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own."

‘All Night With The Cowboy’ is the second book in the River Ranch series. I read the first book, ‘Cowboy Stole My Heart’ in January and really loved it. So I was super excited when I received a request to read this second book. Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

In ‘All Night With The Cowboy’ we meet Tanner Ford. Tanner is the son of one the richest Texas families. But instead of working on his family’s ranch, Tanner rides bulls. This is his passion and he made his own fortune with it. But one day, he sustains serious injuries which make it difficult to believe he will ever be back bull riding again. But Tanner is determined to get back at it. Unfortunately this means he needs the help of the finest physical therapist in town Lauren Lewis. And Lauren Lewis is the last person he wants to see. It’s been twelve years since she broke his heart and he made a promise to himself to never get that vulnerable with anyone ever again.

From the moment I started reading this book I was hooked. I loved the previous book in the series, so I had very high expectations with this one. And thankfully it was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I love stories about Cowboys and close families, and this book had it both. But the best part was definitely the romance between Tanner and Lauren.

When Tanner and Lauren where seniors in High School they had a very intense romance. Everyone, including themselves, believed they would marry one day. But Lauren made a decision and left Tanner, and herself, heartbroken without any explanation. I loved the way Tanner and Lauren had this past together. A lot of the times these romance novels include a ‘new’ romance, but this story was even better because of their history. The chemistry was definitely flying of the pages and I loved reading every single page.

What made this book even better for me was the way Tanner and Lauren both tried to keep their distance from one another. It didn’t work, but it was fun to read about there struggle to keep things simple professional.
Tanner and Lauren were both also very nice characters to get to know. Although I didn’t really get Lauren’s decision of ending their relationship back then, I definitely was impressed by what she achieved.

The one thing I didn’t get in this book was the ending. Although it was definitely good, it also felt a little rushed to me. One minute they were on this Island and the next they were back. And that endometrioses part, I didn’t get why that was a part of the story. It didn’t seem to really fit.

But overall another great book that I’d definitely recommend. I can’t wait to read the next one.
