I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I so thoroughly enjoyed reading this second chance love story. I loved the dual POVs. This feature helps me to get into the character and to understand his' or her's actions. I really felt for Tanner having the love of his life abandon him. I was glued to my ereader and enraptured in the story. I couldn't totally understand Lauren's decision but I continued on. The story does unfold the complete reason behind the ultimatum. I was so glad to have read this. I love reading the angst of second chance lovers coming together again. The reason why they broke up and the coming together again. Ms. Lane nailed it on the head with this one.

Fun and sexy second-chance romance with captivating characters and a beautifully written plot that kept me entertained and intrigued from the first word to the last. I really liked the obvious chemistry between injured championship bull rider Tanner Ford and his physical therapist Lauren Lewis who he hasn't seen in twelve years and was his high school sweetheart. I couldn't put the book down once I started reading and was so invested in their story, I didn't want it to end.

This is the first book I have read by Soraya Lane and I look forward to reading more by this talented author. Fans of contemporary western romances should plan to read All Night with the Cowboy.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my unbiased review.

3.5 Stars
Tanner Ford is a championship bull rider, who took one chance too many and ended up with what could be career ending injuries. He’s finally out of the hospital home with his family to recover, angry and worried about his life. He had to get back to riding....he couldn’t end his career this way.

Lauren Lewis is a well know physical therapist and has an excellent reputation. She’s headed for a long vacation in Fiji to rest and rejuvenate. When Mia Ford contacts her begging to help Tanner recover she is very conflicted. Twelve years ago in high school they were in a serious relationship, but her parents were not happy and gave her an ultimatum. It broke her heart, but she had to leave Tanner behind. She reluctantly agrees to help Tanner, but he must go to Fiji to join her. Tanner is livid when he finds out, but realizes she might be his only chance of rehabbing enough to ride. He is bitter and unforgiving with her until she finally has the chance to explain what happened so many years ago. Their time in Fiji is romantic and almost a fantasy. But bad weather and reality are coming fast.

I enjoyed this book, but took me quite a while to warm up to Tanner. A grown man who can’t get over a broken heart from his high school years just seemed a little pathetic. I enjoy this author’s writing, and will certainly read her work again, but this novel just didn’t pull me in.

I would like to thank St. Martin’s Press and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Tanner & Lauren had quite a history. Serious until the summer before college & then Lauren unexpectedly breaks up with him. They each go their separate ways & manage to excel in their chosen careers. Now, years later, Tanner has sustained a serious injury & needs a good physical therapist in order to fully heal & get back on the circuit. Tanner's sister hires the best she can find, Lauren. What follows is two people circling each other, intense sexual tension, bargaining & finally, an agreement that what happens on the island stays on the island.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were interesting & their interactions illustrated the chemistry between them. Even though this was the second in the series, each book is a self contained story about a different couple. There are appearances from the other characters but the reader won't feel like they are missing something. The plot was intense & passionate whether the reader is thinking of the relationship between Tanner & Lauren or the battle between Tanner & his family about him continuing on the circuit. I felt this was a great book & would recommend it to those who don't want their love scenes behind closed doors.

A wonderful read. I was able to read this book in one afternoon. The story just kept me wanting to find out what was going to happen on the next page. I have not read a book like this other than a mystery or suspense and was totally surprised that this book was able to catch my attention without me stopping and going to another book I am reading and coming back to this one. The book opens with Tanner the bull rider and a not so successful bull ride. This leads to the meeting and eventual back with Lauren Lewis. She is one of the top Physical Therapist and his sister has set it up for them to work together on Lauren’s vacation in Fiji. The problem Tanner has is that he has not seen or spoken to her in twelve years. Since the day she broke up with him without a reason and walked out of his life never looking back. Yes she is doing what she wanted to do, and he is still doing what he wanted to do, but they are both doing it alone and neither one is truly happy with their lives’ not they either one is going to say anything different. The author takes you on a journey through their past as you see what there live is now in the present and does it in a way that makes you wonder if there is a chance for or hope for second chances. A wonderful book with excellent characters, in both of their sisters, his father, even old bull rider King helping Tanner was a nice touch. The bull riding scenes were good along with the entire story. A wonderful book.

This second chance romance is fun, flirty, and sexy at its best. Tanner and Lauren have chemistry that explodes off the pages and keeps those pages turning. When Tanner is severely hurt while on the rodeo circuit he heads home to heal and though the doctors tell him his career is over he is determined to resume where he left off. He hires the best physical therapist he can find even though it is his long lost love. This is definitely a keeper and a recommended read for this summer!

Tanner is a bull rider left with some serious injuries and refuses to let this get him down. He will do everything he can even if it has to deal with hanging around his ex who broke his heart many years ago and still dealing with the bitterness. Lauren was looking forward to going on vacation and hadn't planned for Tanner to tag along while she ends up being his PT. Old feelings and past problems seem to keep surfacing and it'll make a break these two and they have to work things out because they are having a hard time staying away from eachother just as a business relationship.

This book turned out better then I expected and pretty much devoured this book. I enjoyed seeing the connection between the two. I liked getting to know more and more about the characters, their backstories, the reasoning behind the breakup and seeing them speaking about what was going on and how to get past. Honestly there was times where I just wanted to slap Tanner upside the head, he was just so bitter about a highschool love and really how could he hold on to that bitterness for so long that he ends up blurting stupid things making everything more complicated then they needed to be. I loved that there was enough drama in the book to keep things interesting. I loved reading about the romance that was going on between the two while they were on vacation. Overall it was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

This story has cussing (including f-bombs) and on-page sex. If those things bother you, you might want to skip this one.

The title of this story is really curious to me. The “all night” part didn't really fit with the story. I don't know why that bothered me, but as I was reading it really struck me that it didn't fit at all.

This book was a mix of things that I really liked (Tanner) and things that I struggled with. Both Lauren and Tanner had the potential to be great characters, but I really struggled with Lauren. There was so much space in this book wasted on her constant mental waffling over her feelings for Tanner and over-thinking everything that I found myself skimming to get beyond it. It felt like for every step forward Lauren took, she mentally sabotaged herself into taking three back for the sake of building up the book's word count. I also wasn't thrilled with her “reason” for breaking up with Tanner in the first place. That she let her parents manipulate her so completely with such a weak attempt at fighting them spoke to the kind of person she was. Tanner was the epitome of a cowboy, and I liked how determined he was to prove himself on a bull despite his injuries. Was he pig-headed? Yes. But that's the professional athlete mentality, so however ill-advised his determination was, it worked in this situation. The only thing I didn't like about Tanner ***SPOILER ALERT TO END OF PARAGRAPH*** was when he roughly manhandled Lauren during a sex act. I almost DNF'd when he pulled her hair in a rough, non-sexy way making her say 'ouch' and forcing her do what he'd said because “she couldn't extract herself without it hurting even more” - seriously? That's not sexy. It's abusive. I would have punched him in his sensitive place the minute he hurt me. Thankfully, this book didn't go down the pain-as-pleasure avenue, but every time they got sexy, I braced myself, just waiting for Tanner to hurt her again so that ruined the sexytimes scenes for me.

Considering the length of this book, it felt like very few things happened. Even though the descriptions of Fiji were top-notch and I loved that, I kept waiting for something (other than sex) to happen, but it really didn't. The one story line that could have added drama to the island situation turned out to be nothing more than a sidebar to show that Tanner is a benevolent rich guy. That was pretty disappointing, to be honest.

While it wasn't my favorite book, there were some parts that were really great. I liked Tanner's talk with his father, and all of the scenes with his family – especially the scenes with Mia and Sam. And I really did enjoy the ending of the book. I thought the resolution to everything that happened (being vague to avoid spoilers) was really beautiful and the last few chapters of this book were the best of this book. Although I struggled to focus on the book as it went on, the ending left me with a smile and glad that I had finished it.

All Night with the Cowboy was a good read. It was a good 2nd chance romance. I couldn’t get into it. I hate it when I can’t get into a book. There was no real reason I couldn’t get into it. It made me a little aggravated since I had liked Cowboy Stole My Heart.

I couldn’t connect with Lauren. Don’t get me wrong, I liked her. I felt that she was bland as a character. She had no personality either. I love it when the female lead is fiery and has her own mine. Lauren didn’t make it there.

Tanner has to be one of the most bull-headed characters that I have read to date. Forget that he was injured when riding a bull. He was bound and determined to get back to the rodeo. I was like “seriously guy???“. Even when his father told him his bad news, he was still bound and determined to get back to riding bulls. I sat there and shook my head in disbelief. He was out to prove that he could do it again and forget everyone who was telling him to retire.

I loved, loved, loved that most of this book took place in Fiji. I have always wanted to go there. It is a dream vacation. Plus, I have rarely seen Fiji as a backdrop for most of a romance audience.

I am torn on how to feel about Lauren and Tanner hooking up while he was her patient. One one hand, I thought it was an interesting way for them together. But, however, I thought it was tacky. So can I say that it is safe to say that I liked it but found it a little tacky?

Speaking of Lauren and Tanner, I thought that the reason Lauren broke up with Tanner dragged out. On both ends. I wish that Lauren told Tanner why she broke up with him sooner than later. There was so much drama over that one thing.

The sex scenes were out of this world. They were on fire. I swear, if my Kindle could fog up, it would have. They had sex in some very interesting places, including a beach. I got squirmy reading that scene and not from the hot sex. I kept imagining sand getting everywhere.

The romance angle was a tear jerker. Even though I couldn’t connect with either character, I loved their romance. The scene after they got home from Fiji made me tear up. As did the scene at the end of the book.

Like I mentioned above, the end of the book was a tear jerker. The epilogue had me teary also.

What I liked about All Night with the Cowboy:

A) Majority of the book was set in Fiji

B) Sex scenes were on fire

C) Their romance made me cry

What I disliked about All Night with the Cowboy:

A) Couldn’t connect with the main characters

B) Tanner’s bullheadedness

C) Couldn’t get into the book

I would give All Night with the Cowboy an Adult rating. There is explicit sex. There is language. There is mild violence. I would recommend that no one under the age of 21 read this book.

There are no trigger warnings for All Night with the Cowboy.

I am on the fence if I would reread this book. I am also on the fence if I would recommend it to family and friends. I would be open to reading other books by the author. I have in the past and I have liked them.

All Night With a Cowboy is a great second chance with a first love romance with strong, compelling characters that easily draws readers into their story. The romance is sweet and the sizzling chemistry between these two burns red hot with lots of passion but the relationship is an uphill battle as past hurts interfere and emotions run high which keeps readers in suspense until the very end.

I enjoyed reading Tanner and Lauren’s story, they were interesting characters and had a way about them that had sincerity and the passion flowing from the pages. The overall second chance romance was inspirational as well making readers feel good although it was it bit angsty though that was to be expected with of the past hurts this couple experienced and I found that while both characters were stubborn, the author presented in such a way that it wasn’t overdone or too much drama. I haven’t read the first book in the River Ranch series but I had no trouble getting to know Tanner and Lauren as it is a standalone story and I found that Soraya Lane brought her characters to vivid life and made it easy to picture each and every scene with well written descriptions.

I love a second chance romance, and I’ll always hop on-board with a cowboy romance – good thing for me they combine in the intriguing All Night with the Cowboy.

Once upon a time Tanner and Lauren were sweethearts who might have gone on to live a happy life together… or may have ended up hating each other for the dreams they never fulfilled. It’s hard to tell now in hindsight, but Lauren made her choice. She was driven to heal and her passion was to become a physical therapist. Breaking up with Tanner was the hardest thing she’d done, but she also didn’t tell him all the reasons for that breakup.

Years later Tanner has become a successful bull rider, and also has the first major injury of his career. One that requires time and an expert to get him back into riding shape, leave it to his sister to find him the perfect physical therapist.

I enjoyed Tanner and Lauren’s second chance romance. Yes, there are issues and anger, most certainly hurt on both sides to work out. But it’s easy to fall back in love while staying in paradise with the one you never stopped loving at your side. I think Tanner and Lauren make a better, more realistic couple as adults. They’ve lived their dreams, they have some wisdom and experience that was lacking before. The love is still there, maybe buried down under some hurt at first but it only takes an ember. I enjoyed my time with this couple, and I’m always gong to love when people get that second chance to make things right. Although I usually believe in starting a series at the beginning, if you cannot do that then All Night with the Cowboy can be read on its own just fine. If you love cowboys, second chances, and determined women then you’ll enjoy this romance.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

All Night With the Cowboy starts with a vivid piece of writing of a cowboy experiencing a very brutal ride that ends in him being severely injured. A great piece of writing that hooked me into the book.

Tucker is the cowboy and unbeknown to him his sister Mia sets him up with a physical therapist who is excellent at her job and very professional. Only trouble is... Tucker and Lauren go way back to when they were young and they broke each others hearts. Tucker comes from a wealthy family and there is some tension there as his family would love him to give up his dangerous but adrenaline producing bull riding.

In Fiji Tucker and Lauren renew their acquaintance and the sparks fly. Can they just enjoy a bit of a fling while they are there and then go on there way? Come on, these two loved each other and they still could have feelings for each other. But... are they slow about coming to realise that they really matter to each other. So its a little tortuous as they get through all their challenges and past hurts and doubts.

Soraya Lane's writing is very good although I have to admit I am more of a reader for her women's fiction books which have a lot more character development and delve in more depth into life.

However if you are an avid contemporary romance reader then this book would suit you well.

tanner ford never intended to reconnect with the girl who broke his heart when she chose a career over him. but now that career of hers might be what saves his. in all night with the cowboy, tanner and lauren are forced to come together. this time on a professional level. but there is too much water under the bridge to allow them to ignore all the hurt and anger from their past.

it's not smooth sailing, and at times you just want them to get over themselves and admit that they needed to grow up and be apart. and this second chance at love will work if they can only move past all the baggage.

set in the same world as the texas kings series, and continuing the story of the ford kids of river ranch, this series is an enjoyable set of standalones. i can't wait to see which ford child is next.

This is a second chance romance and the second book in this series, which can be read as a stand-alone. Tanner is a billionaire bull rider whose body is ready to stop but Tanner isn’t he goes home to heal where he sees Lauren, the girl who got away. Lauren was young and in love but had to choose between Tanner and a career. Can the let go of the past and move forward? Great chemistry and lots of drama. I really liked it.

All Night with the Cowboy by Soraya Lane is the second book in the romance River Ranch series. The main characters are not the same as in the first book so it is not necessary to have read the first.

Tanner Ford is a professional bull rider whose high school sweetheart, Lauren, broke his heart. Now, 10 yrs later they are thrown back together after Tanner sustains a serious injury and Lauren is the best physical therapist to help him recover.

This is a great read! I am excited for the next book to come out.

3.75 stars--ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY is the second instalment in Soraya Lane’s contemporary, adult RIVER RANCH cowboy, romance series focusing on the Ford siblings. This is professional bull-rider Tanner Ford, and physical therapist Lauren Lewis’ story line. ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. The RIVER RANCH series is a spin off from the author’s TEXAS KINGS series. You do not have to have read the original series to understand or follow the current time line. Some of the characters cross over for cohesion and backstory.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Tanner and Lauren) ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY follows the second chance romance and relationship between professional bull-rider Tanner Ford, and physical therapist Lauren Lewis. Twelve years earlier, Lauren Lewis walked out of Tanner’s life. High school sweethearts, Tanner and Lauren had promised one another the world but Lauren was forced to choose between her career and love, and ultimately her career won out. Fast forward to present day wherein Tanner Ford’s bull-riding days have come to an abrupt stop with possible career ending injuries inflicted during the last World’s Finals. Enter Lauren Lewis, physical therapist, and the woman Tanner can’t stop hating for breaking his heart. What ensues is the acrimonious rebuilding relationship between Tanner and Lauren as they are forced together on a tropical island, and the fall-out as Tanner is unable to let go of the past.

Successful, rich and stubborn, Tanner Ford struggles with his attraction to the woman who destroyed his heart. Together, Tanner and Lauren must ignore the elephant in the room, focusing on healing the numerous injuries, in preparation for Tanner’s return to the bull-riding circuit but working together brings with it the memories of the past, and the overwhelming grief and memories of losing the only woman Tanner would ever love.

Throughout the story there is a definite push and pull between our leading couple. Hurtful words are spoken in haste, only to be compounded by the emotional fall-out of the truth. Maturity level is questionable; Tanner’s bitterness and bellyaching about the past is adolescent forcing Lauren out of his life once again-his constant reminders about how she broke his heart, got old, pretty fast. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The colorful and energetic secondary characters include Tanner’s siblings Angelina, Mia and her husband Sam, Cody, and their father Walter Ford; Lauren’s sister Hannah, their father, and mother Julie.

ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY is a story of second chances; a rekindling romance that suffers in the face of Tanner’s inability to let got of the past, a hurt inflicted upon his eighteen year old soul that he had never, truly gotten over. The premise is captivating; the romance is heart breaking but passionate; the characters are prickly, spirited and animated.

Second chance romance between a hard headed character (Tanner) and the stubborn physical therapist assigned to help (Lauren). Tanner takes a nasty dismount from a bull and it is up to Lauren to get him on the right track. But will exotic locations, bad weather and family keep these two apart? Funny, sexy and action packed.

Oh My... She needs to treat with PT the man she left at the alter... This turns out to be more then Physical Therapy. But what happens when the Cowboy thinks he still can compete...Will this romance survive the push and pull

This is a fabulously written story, I couldn't stop turning the page, Tanner is a bull rider and has an accident where he is severely injured. Lauren is a physio therapist and is the one trying to help him. Can they both learn to trust and let fate decide

Tanner Ford had been severely injured and, has to come home to the family ranch to heal. problem is that the best physical therapist he knows is Lauren, his first love. It's been years since her first live walked away and never looked back. Now Lauren has to get Tanner better and back to where he needs to be physically. The heat between these two is just as combustible as it was when they split up years ago and neither of them knows how to deal with it. without getting burned again.
This story is downright molten! Two people who have NEVER stopped loving each other but, aren't sure whether they can deal with the pain of losing, once again, if It doesn't work this time!
