Contemporary Romance

Texas and Fiji – Present Day

Pro rodeo star Tanner Ford and sports physical therapist Lauren Lewis were teen sweethearts but it ended when she chose college over him. They went their separate ways and tried to forget each other—until their paths cross again after Tanner sustains an injury while competing in a rodeo. Lauren is a topnotch therapist, and his family sets it up that Tanner accompanies her on her planned vacation to Fiji, where she’ll treat him in between her touristy stuff. They could keep it impersonal but, instead, they rekindle the flames that never really died between them.

Tanner still carries resentment when Lauren broke off their romance back when they were eighteen. Sure, he was a bad boy (and still is) with plans to participate in the rodeo circuit, but what kind of future could he have offered Lauren? Her parents gave her a choice: break it off with Tanner and they’ll pay for her college. If she didn’t, she wouldn’t have had a chance of getting that degree she had always dreamed of. Her heart still aches for what she had to do, but it was the right decision for her.

The sizzling awareness is still there between Tanner and Lauren, and then add in the romantic atmosphere of Fiji; it’s no wonder things soon turn hot and heavy, leading to some bedroom gymnastics. A little vacation fling might be just what the doctor would order for both of them. Once their trip is over, will they go their separate ways? But their feelings for each other still run deep. How can they walk away from each other again?

ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY is part of the River Ranch series, and readers catch glimpses of Mia and Sam from COWBOY STOLE MY HEART, but this tale is all about Tanner and Lauren. Readers who love a reunited lovers romance will settle in quite nicely reading ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY. While their past is connected, they have changed since they were teen lovers. Will the changes allow them to forge a future together?

Tanner is a sexy, handsome cowboy that readers will surely love and, in ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY, he begins to realize that Lauren is the woman who understands him the best. Will they be able to work out their problems and find a way to a happily-ever-after together? Find out the answer in the enjoyable ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY.

Tanner gets hurt doing what he loves and this time it seems his family wants him to retire but his sister sets everyone straight by booking a Physical therapist. Only the jokes on him and it seems the past has come back to haunt him. Lauren is set to spend her 30th birthday alone in Fuji. She's set to go when a Mia reaches out and ask for help and she agrees under on condition. Can her and Tanner enjoy the beautiful island of Fuji and get Tanner back to the bulls or will it all be to much for both of them?
I was not a huge fan of this book the relationship between Tanner and Lauren seemed forced. I really did enjoy Lauren and her sweet independent nature and how she could hold her own. I felt like Tanner's main goal was to get even no matter what he seemed almost hostile sometimes. I really could not stand him. There was strong adult language and scenes through-out. I felt like the book would have been way better without all the cursing. I found it a total turn off and hard to get into the story. Overall not the book for me.

Tanner may come from family with more money than sense but he wants to make his own fame and fortune. Turning his back on the family business he becomes a renowned Bull Rider. But after a decade of success, he takes a fall and needs some physical therapy to get back in the saddle.

But his family get sneaky when it comes to getting him into therapy that he wants to avoid. His ex, Lauren is now a trained therapist but can she put her still simmering feelings for Tanner aside and treat him as just any other patient?

Fiji isn't the typical location that comes to mind when thinking of suitable places to rehabilitate a Rodeo performer but hey, its pretty, peaceful and powerfully relaxing. There is plenty of passion and a few wrong turns for the former young loves. Great read.

Second chance romance, cowboys, and Fiji! Don't judge Lauren for the choice she made when her parents pushed her into a decision. Now she's back with Tanner, but from a different position. She's his physical therapist after he's severely injured by a bull he was riding. These two have a history but it's a history as kids and they're grown ups now so they have things to work through. The dialogue is good, the characters people you'd like to meet, and wow- Fiji! Although you might think this will be set on a ranch, the best parts are on that island. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Perfect escapist HEA and I'm looking forward to more in this series.

This is book 2 in the River Ranch series. This one is about Tanner Ford and Lauren Lewis. Tanner is the brother of Mia from book 1. He rides bulls for a living with the rodeo circuit and has made a name for himself doing it. On his last ride though, it goes horribly wrong and he gets hurt. To the point that he needs physical therapy in order to heal correctly, especially if he wants to go back to his career. Lauren was his high school sweetheart and is also one the best physical therapists in the state. They haven't spoken since she broke things off with him when they were still kids. And there is so much history between them, both good and bad, that it makes it hard for them to work together to heal his body.

This book was sooo much better than the 1st one in my opinion! I could relate to the characters so much more and even though they have a lot of issues between them, it just made it that much easier for me to get into. I fully understand Lauren feeling like she didn't have a choice when she was still a teen. She was pushed into a corner and made the best decision she could, even knowing that she was losing the one person she loved more than anyone else. Tanner has never understood exactly what happened. And he is bitter over and doesn't want to trust anyone else with his heart again. Which is understandable. And yet, once he finds out what truly happened and he works through how much that hurt him? He steps up and fights for what he has always wanted! I loved them together. This one I couldn't put down once I started and it left me wanting more of their life together once they worked everything out. Definitely a great read!

I loved the second book in the River Ranch series.  Loved the back story, the characters, the conflict, the cameo of Ryder King from The Devil Wears Spurs, and the whole storyline was great.  Twelve years ago she walked away from the man she loved because her parents gave her an ultimatum, him or college.  He has never forgiven her for walking away without an explanation, and he never wanted to see the girl who broke his heart again, but when he takes a catastrophic spill while riding a bull, she is the only PT that has a chance at getting him back into bull riding shape.  There is only one problem, she has planned a vacation that is years over do and she will only work with him if he is willing to go with her.  She knows it is a mistake, but when she finds out the extent of his injuries she can’t say no. So off to Fiji for an extended stay and rehabilitation with the only man she has ever loved and who now hates her.  Their chemistry was great, the emotional tension added to the conflict, and their story was both entertaining and enjoyable.  Loved every second of it and didn’t want it to end. The author is quickly becoming a favorite. Her characters are strong and dynamic. Her story lines are entertaining and engaging and they are just fun to read.

It's the PBR(Professional Bull Riders) World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last year's champion Tanner Ford is about to slide down in the shute on the bull he was assigned. He was glad he got to ride Thunder Cat; the ranker the bull the better the chance for a high score and a repeat of the championship. Too bad Thunder Cat is about to spoil that dream. It's a five second ride and throwing Tanner off is not good enough for this bull.. After Thunder Cat bucks him off he stomps on him and gores him. Tanner is now a really beat-up, glad-to-be-alive mess.

Shortly thereafter Tanner is well enough to go home for Thanksgiving. He needs PT really badly. Enter Lauren Lewis, Tanner's ex-girlfriend and the best sports Physical Therapist around. It's twelve years after their break-up. Hearts were broken. Can Tanner accept spending time with Lauren who he is assured will get him back in shape to return to bull riding?

This is a second-chance love story. I was pulling for Tanner all the way. I didn't quite connect with the heroine, Lauren. The author didn't quite get me to feel as much sympathy for Lauren as I did for Tanner over the big break-up. She did a good job of making these characters three dimensional but I had trouble getting to like Lauren. The author also spelled out the conflict well, but I found that maybe there was a little too much conflict. The resolution to the conflict finally pulled me in so I did enjoy the HEA in this story. It was also fun to see characters from the first book in this River Rance series like Tanner's sister, Mia and her husband, Sam again.

Another sweet and sexy River Ranch story from Soraya Lane. This time, Tanner Ford, the bull riding son of the Ford dynasty, has been seriously injured, and needs physical therapy. He gets some serious physical attention from his high school squeeze, now professional trainer and physical therapist, on a two week vacation in Fiji. To call this escapist fiction is to understate the case. Rich, handsome man, vacation in Fiji, sparks flying. What more could you ask?

Wow, I really wanted to like this book a lot more than I did. I felt like it had a lot of potential but just didn't do it for me.

Yes both of the main characters had an interesting past together. Yes, there were also some interesting secondary people. Yes, it was emotional. Yes, they both had unusual interesting careers. But it wasn't something that really kept me all that interested after a while.
It just felt so predictable in so many ways.

I will be leaving this same review on Amazon when this book becomes open to reviews.

This book is about Tanner and Lauren who were inseparable in high school. Then Lauren breaks it off with Tanner never explaining why leaving him broken-hearted. Fast forward to now, Tanner is a famous bull rider and she is a highly recommended physiotherapist. Tanner sister Mia hires her to help him recover from a very bad accident during a bull ride. This is a second chance romance were two people have to learn to work together. Can Tanner find it in his heart to forgive the only one he has ever loved. Can Lauren explain why she did what she did and how it devastated her equally as much. This was a fantastic story about two wounded hearts trying to make peace with their past to finally move on and just maybe find a HEA. All Night with the Cowboy by Soraya Lane is the second book in the contemporary romance River Ranch series. With a new couple as the main characters in All Night with the Cowboy it is not necessary to have read the first book of the series to understand this second chance romance as it reads fine all on it’s own.

Tanner Ford comes from a wealthy family but against all their advice and wishes he became a bull rider and has succeeded wildly at the sport for the last decade. Tanner however has just had his first serious accident of his career and needs help with getting back into action so his sister takes it upon herself to set up an appointment with a physical therapist who just happens to be Tanner’s ex-girlfriend.

Lauren Lewis had walked away from Tanner still very much in love with him breaking both of their young hearts. She’s spent the last decade studying and becoming the best physical therapist out there and hopes that after all these years she and Tanner can put the past behind them for the sake of his career so she reluctantly agreed to accompany Tanner to Fiji and help with his therapy.

What can I honestly say about this one? Take a hot cowboy and a second chance for a couple who had been very much in love and put them in a tropical setting and I was more than entertained by the magic on the pages. The story was oozing in passion as these two reconnected and hashed out their old differences making for one steamy and passionate tale that was a great addition to the River Ranch series.

This book is kinda bland and predictable. I was so looking forward to this great Fiji vacation time but it was really them spending the time working on rehab or talking about he past over and over and over again in this book. I was kinda board while reading this and by chapter 16 I was skimming just to get to the end. The situation was predictable and the characters were in their heads to much, not enough living in the moment us a lot of over thinking and over analyzing everything.

This is one of those stories that pulls you in from the beginning and just won't let you go. It is filled with old hurts, plenty of angst, and a second chance at love. I loved both Tanner and Lauren, they were very likable characters and both very strong willed. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Some people are just born to grow up to be a cowboy. Tanner Ford grew up riding bulls and busting broncos on his wealthy family’s ranch. On the rodeo circuit he made a name for himself as one of the top bull riders ever, but one bull shattered more than his body when his future as a rider is now in jeopardy. When his sister arranges for physical therapy to help him continue his dream, even the tropical island getaway isn’t enough to overcome the pain he is reminded of the day the girl he swore he would love forever…because there she was again, the best therapist money could buy.

Lauren and Tanner were young and in love, money wasn’t an issue for their future, but she wanted more than to be a cowboy’s wife, or she thought she did. When her parents gave her an offer she didn’t think she could refuse, she made a mistake and she walked out on Tanner. Now she is face to face with the man of her dreams, the one she traded to reach her own goals.

Their attraction is hotter than the tropical heat on the secluded beach, but so is the searing pain of loss and betrayal. Will they get past the demons of their youth and rekindle the inferno that rages between them?

ALL NIGHT WITH THE COWBOY by Saroya Lane is a second chance romance whose time had finally come for two souls, more mature, more self-assured and finally ready to share what happened when Lauren walked out. I enjoyed this story, even though the past was often hashed and re-hashed mentally, before Lauren finally explained herself. High angst, lots of anger and finally, some communication and of course, the passion!

I'm not a cowboy romance die-hard fan but do like to read a good cowboy romance every once in a while, so this week I picked All Night with the Cowboy by Soraya Lane. It is an entertaining first love, second chance contemporary romance but not quite what I'd expected.

Lauren is the good girl who falls for Tanner, the bad boy in high school. They're inseparable and couldn't be any more opposites. She's into her studies while Tanner is into riding his bike then bulls at the rodeo. Tanner wants to make a name for himself and stay away from the family business for as long as he can.

When Lauren blindsides him with a goodbye he doesn't expect, he swears never again to let anyone in his heart. Fast-forward a decade, and now they're facing each other again in the least imaginable way.

Tanner is engaging and his anger at Lauren is understandable. He always thought she was the one for him until she up and left, so when he sees her again he wants nothing but revenge. I liked his character a lot. Tanner is relatable. He can be harsh but has a teddy bear side that makes it impossible for you not to like him.

Lauren, on the other hand, I didn't like. Her reasons for breaking up with her were lame in my opinion. All right, so I can understand how parents can manipulate an 18-year-old and threaten them with money and other stuff. But to allow what her parents thought of her relationship with Tanner last a decade, and still have a hold on her and the decisions she makes it's almost ridiculous. In my opinion, Tanner's strong character it's what made this story work. Overall, those who enjoy cowboy romances might like this one.

Tanner sustained a serious injury bull riding. Needing rehabilitation, his sister finds him one of the best physical therapist in the pro athlete sector, Lauren Lewis…his ex-girlfriend and the woman that broke his heart.

The last thing Lauren wanted to do was walk away from Tanner, but her circumstances didn’t give her much choice. Its going to be hard being around man she never stopped loving…where Lauren doesn’t regret her life choices she made she is in no way as angry as Tanner…

I really enjoyed All Night with the Cowboy. Both, Tanner and Lauren, are likable and strong character. Their wiliness to help out in a dire circumstances shows what good people (fictional characters) they are. I can’t go into much for spoiler reasons, but I didn’t really get the entire summer thing before they broke up, it just didn’t work for me. A little repetitive, but overall, All Night with the Cowboy was an engaging and entertaining read.

Its all flirty and fun until you realize you let go the one person you will always love.

I received this ARC copy of All Night with the Cowboy from St. Martin's Press. This is my honest and voluntary review. All Night with the Cowboy is set for publication May 29, 2018.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I enjoyed this story about a cowboy looking for a second chance with the one he loves. They had a lot of obstacles to overcome but hope and persistence made for a HEA ending. 3.5 stars

This is second chance love between bull rider Tanner and physical therapist Lauren. After the really bad fall from the bull, Tanner needs a therapist to go back in the saddle and the best for the job is her former teenage love, Lauren. The old resentment still cause a lot of pain and at first they are a lot of bad words said but after clearing the past the old flame comes to life and they agree to have a fling until their time together ends up. Although they have strong feelings for each other are their lives so different and one of them would have to sacrifice their career. The story was ok but I didn't love it. Nor Tanner nor were for me someone to fall in love. Tanner was too hard headed and unpleasant, especially from the start. Lauren was also nothing special, I didn't understand why didn't she want to tell the reason why she left him in the past and she was hot and cold and undetermined when it came to her feelings. It was a mediocre read.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ❣
Tanner and Lauren used to be the high school golden couple. Years later life is giving them a second chance. Tanner is a professional Bull rider he is at the top of his game. In the blink of an eye, his life tumbles to a halt.

Lauren is a physiotherapist. She's always been professional with her clients. In reality, she has never found anyone who matches up to Tanner. When his sister calls and asks to help him heal an injury, Lauren has her chance to mend broken bridges.

This book has a beautiful setting, a smoking hot cowboy and some steamy scenes. It's sweet and firey. All night with the cowboy was so good I was sucked in from the start. This is my second book in the River Ranch series.

I enjoyed this one more than the first but both are worth looking at. 4.5 stars out of 5.

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

All Night With a Cowboy was a second chance romance that held promise that these two could overcome past hurts and find love.

Generally I'm not a huge fan of second chance romances but I'm a sucker for a broken bull rider needless to say I was excited to read All Night With a Cowboy.
The author brought these once emotionally damaged youths together as adults to heal and rekindle their relationship.

Tanner is your typical bull rider. He's tough, determined and stubborn. He also has the ability to hold a grudge. Tanner found his first and only love Lauren in high school and has never forgetting how she to tore his heart out.

Whether it was right or wrong, Lauren was made to choose between Tanner and school. She's had a successful career as a physical therapist but has always wondered what might have been if she choose love.

The pair is brought together in paradise where they are healing both physically and emotionally. I found the beginning to be repetitive but in hindsight it helped the reader get into their mindset.

Their time together wasn't easy but they managed to ease into a friendship in Fiji only looking for fun without commitment. The chemistry and passion was evident throughout. While they both wanted more they were afraid to share their feelings as they were still not over the past.
