I love everything Helena Hunting writes but I struggled with this one a bit. I never connected to either character and I didn’t end up feeling their relationship.

This book was fabulous from page one. It has everything you need strong female, hot men and hot sex. Rian and Pierce have so much chemistry and they just made me smile. This book will make you laugh out loud, at the same time that you are rooting for Rian and Marley to come out ahead!!!! You will love this book!!!!!!

Fab rom-com…

I’ve been loving the Shacking Up series and Pierce and Rian were icing on the rom-com cake! I’d come to expect the unique meetings of the heroes and heroines and theirs was perhaps my favourite. Mistaken identity and, on Rian’s part, a willingness to make it right on her terms, meant fun texts and edgy conversations that had me laughing right from the start. Of course, there was room for so much more as delicious chemistry and professional rivalry threw more than one spanner in the works…

You get a hint of the games, both hilarious and serious, from the blurb and it played out just as promised. Rich with laughter and sexual innuendo, I loved the banter and the back and forth between the characters. And, as always, so much emotion laced it all….

Characters with heart and soul mixed with laugh out loud humour, meant this was another fabulous read!

I Flipping Love You is the third book in the Shacking Up series by Helena Hunting. The main characters are Rian who has a twin sister and together they are flipping houses and Pierce a patent lawyer who doubles as a house flipper in his spare time to help his brother. I was not a big said of said brother and actually, I was not a big fan of either sibling. Hunter might seem little harsh in the beginning, but if someone had done damage to my car and then just vanished, I would have also been upset. The story was good and the main characters likable. I liked the growth in their relationship and in their characters. I would recommend the book.

I flipping love you - Helena Hunting

A new kind of love story about flipping houses, taking risks, and landing that special someone who’s move-in ready…

SHE’S GOT CURB APPEAL
Rian Sutter grew up with the finer things in life. Spending summers in The Hamptons was a normal occurrence for her until her parents lost everything years ago. Now Rian and her sister are getting their life, and finances, back on track through real estate. Not only do they buy and sell houses to the rich and famous, but they finally have the capital to flip their very own beachfront property. But when she inadvertently catches the attention of a sexy stranger who snaps up every house from under her, all bets are off…

HE’S A FIXER UPPER

Pierce Whitfield doesn’t normally demo kitchens, install dry wall, or tear apart a beautiful woman’s dreams. He’s just a down-on-his-luck lawyer who needed a break from the city and agreed to help his brother work on a few homes in the Hamptons. When he first meets Rian, the attraction is undeniable. But when they start competing for the same pieces of prime real estate, the early sparks turn into full-blown fireworks. Can these passionate rivals turn up the heat on their budding romance — without burning down the house?

I FLIPPING LOVE YOU, set in the Shacking Up world, follows two people, both working in real estate, who find themselves vying for the same properties in the Hamptons, leading to a sometimes-not-so-friendly competition.

So I just happened to catch this one to read now on Netgalley, and downloaded it in exchange for a honest review. This has been my favorite read of 2018. Pierce is literally in my top 10 book boyfriends.
Lately I have been picking out books that (without my knowledge, I have the tendency to be a cover whore... and don't read the back of the book a lot of times...confession.) are hate to love romances.
I seriously flippin loved this book. The holy hot chemistry batman!
This is my favorite of all Helena Hunting's books that I have read. The steamy romance you can feel coming from the pages of this book will be sure to keep you warm at night in the winter, and make you need a fan in the summer.
This book is about Pierce and Rian, their love story, and flipping houses. What more can a girl want?
I kept this short and sweet. I give this 5 out of 5 stars for I flipping love this book!

I must say this wasn’t what I was expecting, but none the less, it was enjoyable. The story was intriguing and held your attention. The characters were easy to relate to and connect with. Fans of the romance genre will find this very enjoyable!

I thought this book was 'flipping' funny. This was one of the first titles I have read by Helena Hunting and it certainly won't be the last. The characters were amazing and the storyline was unique and well written. Absolutely recommend the book!

I'll admit it, I'm pretty much a one-click purchaser for anything Helena Hunting has written. I love her books, but I think I love the little connections that often pop up as they connect the readers to the rest of her Shacking Up world, while still being a total standalone read. I Flipping Love You was yet another good read. Nothing like twins to add a little confusion to someone's world. Rian and Pierce started off a little rocky - twin sisters and a little damage to a car can have that effect on a first meeting - but things progressed well from there. While they definitely start off as enemies, they quickly progress to lovers. And as one might expect from Helena Hunting, there are crazy mishaps, hot sexy times, and a whole lot of heart. I definitely recommend this book.

I love, love, love Helena Hunting. I enjoyed her Puck series but was equally as excited to see something new from her. These characters just live and breathe on the page. The story flowed beautifully and I was invested from the moment I started the book. I thought the plot was fresh and fun and I definitely enjoyed it. I would recommend this title.

I am the biggest Helena Hunting fan and this novel made me the happiest girl. She wrote this novel with her usual sass and wit and I could not get enough. I highly recommend it.

Love, love, love this entire series SO much.

Rian and her sister, Marley are hilarious and I truly enjoyed getting to know them.
Pierce will go on my book boyfriend list, that many Shacking Up male characters already occupy. I simply adored him. Adore, adore, adore. Sexy, sweet, funny and yeah... love him.

While I had my moments of frustration with Rian, I can understand her once bitten, twice shy attitude. Which would be why she kept putting up walls between her and Pierce. Needless to say, I really hope that Rian's sister, Marley gets a book.

Until then, I cannot wait to read more in the Shacking Up series!

I love Helena Hunting's writing style in all of her books and this one didn't change my mind. She always adds a bit of humor into her stories and I love that about her style. I always get caught up into the characters and their drama and I can't wait to read more by this spectacular author.

I loved this book and everything about it. I loved how Rian and Pierce meet and their whole relationship. They have great banter and fantastic chemistry. The storyline is great. It’s different than other books I’ve read lately. I loved the ending.

This is one of those cases where if the author's sense of humor and sexytimes works for you, you'll love the book. If you're not in the right mood and/or can't ignore the immensely privileged background of the main characters, you'll struggle a bit. I found parts of the book really enjoyable and funny. I also really resented the fact that both characters came from privilege, even if one of them had terrible parents who abandoned her and her twin at age 17 with $10,000 and nothing else. In my head, I'm thinking $10,000 is a lot of money and a lot more than most people with terrible parents get? Then again, how do you write a book about house-flipping if the characters don't have the capital to buy houses. (You don't.)

This book gets major props for consistent, responsible condom use and for sexy sex. It gets points off for use of the term "lust button" as a euphemism for clitoris. I hated the first in this series (DNF) and this one was such an improvement. The hero is not an alpha jerk and I genuinely liked both of the main characters. Overall, I rated it 3 stars, but it's at 4.22 on Goodreads, so I think Helena Hunting is an autobuy for a lot of readers.

I Flipping Love You by Helena Hunting is the third book in the Shacking Up and the first by this author I’ve ever read. I’ll be honest. I hate writing reviews when it is a book that I didn’t love, but also didn’t hate. I have lukewarm feelings about this book, the characters, and even the plot.

Rian Sutter is a twin, the responsible one if you ask her. She’s the level-headed, looks at the numbers first girl. And she doesn’t do one-night stands, ever. Rian is the typical girl you find in modern, contemporary romance. Very two-dimensional, not a lot of characteristics. Literally I could be describing any character in a romance right now, and that is sad to me.

Pierce, “the fixer upper” as the blurb describes, is the love interest. Again I could describe him in a few sentences and he fit into any romance novel. Just change the name and job description 🙄 Pierce is a lawyer on summer break after screwing up a big case. Now he is flipping houses with his brother and renting them in the Hamptons. He comes off as the alpha male, but is a big puppy inside. He’s caring and loyal, and puts the girls needs first.

The plot of this book isn’t all that exciting either. Rian and her twin are trying to raise enough money in their real estate business to begin flipping houses and eventually buy the home that they grew up in. The big mystery of the book is why they aren’t in the house. Pierce and Rian butt heads constantly, this is definitely enemy-to-lovers trope. Though I think the enemies is one-sided as Rian can’t stand him and Pierce can’t get her out of his head. This story bored me. It’s one I’ve read a million times with nothing new to add. However I did enjoy the beach setting.

I want to note that I started reading this as an audible book and switched back to my eARC copy halfway through. I liked Rose Dioro who narrated Rian’s perspective. She gave an otherwise boring character life. Jacob Morgan on the otherhand bored me to tears. He was very monotone and I couldn’t continue to listen to him as Pierce. Plus there was something that made me feel dirty listening to a man read a sex scene *shudders* Don’t worry, it’s just the prude in me coming out 😉

Overall I Flipping Love You was just okay. It wasn’t terrible. In fact it is very well written. It just wasn’t original. This book is perfect for anyone that enjoys Helena Hunting’s books and as a good beach read.

I think this book is probably the most “swoony” I’ve been with Helena Hunting’s characters. This was so sweet and funny and and Rian (like with a “y” but with an “i”) was just my kind of quirky and the perfect amount of introverted with a strong backbone when it comes to her and her sister and their realtor business.

I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It is the third book in a series but can be read as a standalone. I love the characters, I think they are great. Even secondary characters are fun. The chemistry between Ryan and Pierce is palpable and I like how things progress between them. I Flipping Love You is a nice romance with charming characters, witty dialogues and right amount of steam. It is my first from the author and I will definitely check out some of her other works.

This was a completely fun and enjoyable read that I really could not get enough of from the very first page. I did not want to put this story down and could not get enough of these characters. This is a definite must read that I recommend.
