I want to thank Emberlust Press for allowing me to read this for an honest opinion.  I thought this was the most heart warming love story that I've ever read.  My opinion on Julie in the beginning was that she was very selfish and did not want to see Paxton happy in any way.  Although there was a ton of sex it was really exciting to read that Paxton and Alissa always stayed ready for him as he for her.  This is the first book I've read by this author and I think I will be reading many more.

Amazing read!!  I laughed, I cried, I loved every word of this book!  I recommend anyone looking for a great story pick this one up and read it!

The book opens with Paxton's wife walking out of him and declaring that she's moving in with the guy she's been seeing that Paxton knew nothing about.  It then moves to a time later when Paxton is moving on and meets a woman he's been chatting online with.

My issue with the book is right here.  There's no background of the communication over emails, private messages, texts and skype calls that apparently occurred between the two.  I felt no connection between the characters, no real bond that would have her jumping on a plane and flying across the country to meet him.  

I skimmed through the book, it seems entirely based on their relationship without any drama or anything to keep the reader interested. 

I was about 10% of the way through the book when I decided to skim the rest in hopes that it became more interesting.

Mmm, what to say: this book was definitely different than other books. It was written from a male POV about the break up with his ex and finding a new love online from another state. And how he adjusts with his three year old son, Jasper to being a single father. 
In all an interesting read, with Alissa (the new girlfriend), who is definitely a sweet woman, who shows she can grow a spine during the book, to oppose Pax's vicious ex. In all a nice read, with some sparks flying and several hot and steamy scenes. But no roller coasters of emotions so it just didn't rock my boat. Therefore three out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Decent! The story told from a male perspective was a nice change;  the writing was concise and focused.  Romance is outside my typical genre but it was a very quick and light read.

I found the conflict contrived. The sex scenes were decent but this book should have been much shorter.

An emotionally charged story that will bring laughter, tears and triumph. Pax is an amazing hero whom we meet at a less than easy way- his wife has just left him.
Enter Alissa, what follows is a sexually charged, emotional rending relationship that has to survive a bitter ex, then the cancer ridden son.
It is a well written romance that deals with the grittier sides of romance, relationships and love.
I think the emotions weren't quite as long lived as they should be- if i was told my son had cancer i would be a bit angrier?. But it is only story.
Overall a pretty good read.

First let me say that the cover is great! Unfortunately, I knew I was going to have a hard time with this book as soon as I got through the first chapter. The prologue was just so rushed. I feel the whole purpose of a prologue is to give character back story but we learned that the main character was getting dumped and nothing more. Then in the first chapter, he kisses the love interest at first meeting. No build up, no suspense, nothing. I'm still trying to learn something about these characters and the story just kept pushing forward without any of the details that make reading so enjoyable. The book was really predictable which can be okay if you love the characters but I never really felt like I ever got to know these characters well enough to care about what happened to them.

Wonderful, heartfelt story about finding and trusting Love again. I will definitely look for additional work by the author.

I’ll admit it... this book got had me hot and bothered! Story line is easy to follow and helps build the characters in a likeable manner. Easy quick read while in bed ;)

This is an bittersweet love story with impressive content which was thoroughly fulfilling and satisfying read. Written with an obvious passion from the author, written with deep thought and planning which ultimately lead to this amazing and thrilling masterpiece of its genre. True love always finds away especially with destined lovers who are soul mates and in a sense this novel reminds me of my own love memoirs. I give my high seal of approval on this novel. All the factors that make for a bestseller are concealed right within the pages of this novel. Please do take the opportunity to snatch up the chance to read this amazing novel , you may find its exactly what you have been searching for and in terms of an love story this is certainly one to be read.

Predictable story, but good none the less. I thought it was well written.

A well written story with believable, well formed characters. The story was pretty predicable but still very enjoyable. Its a light read which is perfect for a holiday or just an afternoon sitting in the sunshine. I read it in one afternoon.

Both Alissa and Pixton are damaged from their previous relationship. The story of how they heal with each other along the way is written beautifully and emotionally touching at many points. 
Recommended for readers who are looking for healing type of love, definitely would be a good read for people who got heart broken before.

I was looking for a good romance with some zing. This book reminded me of why I stick to cozy mysteries.

An online match that writes it's own love story. With so many twist and turns you'll be taken aback.

Nope nope nope. I'm not actually certain that the author put any effort into this. I had enormous hopes of something hot and steamy... and was left disappointed.

Poorly written, seems like author is young and inexperienced.  Some of the references are huve turn offs... "Junior" being one that sticks out the most.  Was disappointed.

I totally loved that book!  The cover first caught my eye to be honest and I just knew I had to read it!  I couldn't put it down!  Well written, easy to read, you just don't want to put it down, it's good from start to finish!
2 people meet online then in real life, instant chemistry! But it's more than just lust!  Hot, steamy, they were made for each other!
My first time reading Carey Decevito, now I want to read more!
