God has no boundaries. He isn't limited. Greater things shall we do because we abide in Him and He in us. Delight yourself in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. KJV Ephesians 3:20 reads, "...exceeding abundantly...". So He came to give us life and that life more abundantly. Abundance is a given when you follow Christ, so He wants to give us more; He wants us to expect more. He is willing and able. It isn't about what we want, it's about Him equipping us to do what He has called us to do. We just have to believe, receive and make ourselves available to do His will. To God be the glory!

This is the first book from Brian Houston that I have read and I wasn't sure going into it what to think. I thought it started a little slow and I was worried that it was mostly going to be about his life and ministry success. However, it defiantly gets more interesting and applicable to the "everyday" Christian who isn't necessarily called to minister to the masses. Stick with this one. I whole-heartily recommend it.

Brian Houston's newest book, There is More: When the World Says You Can't, God Says You Can, is a reminder to live life with expectancy. Houston reminds the reader that God gives us dreams that ask us to put our faith in the Creator - the only one who can truly fulfill the dream in the first place.

There is More: When the World Says You Can't, God Says You Can
There is More reminds us that when we are obedient to God, we see "more" on the other side. That we are given blessings when we choose to live life according to how God asks us to live.

"Your ability to hold fast to the promises of God, trust in His provision, and believe that His desire for your life is abundance will hold you in good stead time and time again."

The focus is not so much on what God can do for us, but rather how we can live our lives for God and as a result, we experience blessings and the fulfillment of dreams we never imagined possible.

I appreciated the fact that Houston doesn't assert we won't always get what we want - that sometimes we have to make choices and sacrifice the thing we think is the dream in order to actually fulfill the dream. Houston doesn't promise a perfect life. Instead, he promises an exciting journey with God that will propel us to something greater than we thought possible when we chose to trust God and lean into His Word.

Houston reminds us to submit and surrender our plans before the throne because it is then that God is best able to use us for His glory.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This review is my own, honest opinion.

It was an accident I saw this from Netgalley and I really thought this book was for me.

Pstr. Brian did a pretty good job constructing this very inspiring book. It started with expected stuffs I've heard thousand times before but that didn't encourage as I know they were needed in forming and conveying the main message of the book. And I was right. Pstr. Brian did convey such an amazing message in a simple but very effective way. Every point is backed by a verse from the bible that makes the reader learned so much bible principles they needed in achieving a dream.

It was amazing.

I received this ARC late and the read it little by little because I wanted to savor it. So apologies that my review is late. Thanks to the publishers and authors and God Bless you all.

I really enjoyed this book. I have not read anything by Brian Houston previously but have seen multiple social media posts by him, his family, church members and Hillsong groups and was curious. I found the chapter on Calling and Confession very poignant as so many people say things to others, and think things of others that they themselves would never want to hear or be projected on a family member. We should watch our words! A definite read!

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC from Netgalley

I'm trying to read more of spiritual readings and equating it to my fiction book reading goals.

The last time that I read Christian reference book that inspired me a lot, change the way I think of myself and to the people around was Crash the Chatterbox by Steven Furtick. And while reading this book, it reminds me the feels I have while reading Crash the Chatterbox.

Did you ever experience reading a book then suddenly it makes you assess your own spiritual standing and growth?

So privileged that I've been given an ARC of this book knowingly that it was published earlier in Australia but it will be released on March 20 internationally.

I'm not a part of any Hillsong church but I'm a Christian who loves their songs. I used their songs in our church services and it was awesome. Even though, part of the experiences cited in this book pertains to the struggles and victories of the Hillsong church, it doesn't give you the feels of un-belonging for not being part of their church. It actually inspires and motivates you that what God did in their church, He can also do it in our own churches.

There so many inspirations you can get in this book. Personal assessment and church growth suggestions.

This a great book that inspires you to extend and take risk of your faith and see the results of your unwavering faith and dedication to expand God's Kingdom.

"... Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?.." - Isaiah 43:19

I voluntarily requested to read this book off NetGalley for two reasons: I have long been blessed by Hillsong worship albums (this book's title also happens to the title of the worship album set to be released in April this year) and I was curious to know what Pastor Brian meant by "There is More."
I took my time with this book because it's not the kind that you'd read in one sitting. It offers insights and has references to Scripture verses that make you look at them differently so that makes you sit back and think.
It's the book I needed during a time when I kept asking "am I enough?" and "am I on the right path?" It shows that with God there's always more and we often limit God to our understanding of the situation rather than surrender to Him so we can gain more understanding of the situation. Thank you Walterbrook & Multomah for the eARC.
