I received a free e-book copy of this title from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This is the first book I've read by Tiffany Reisz and while it was very readable (I read it in two days), I had difficulty connecting to the world and the characters. Judging by other reviews I have seen, many things probably would have made more sense had I read the other books in the series. The book was occasionally interesting and quite hot, but there were whole stretches that I didn't buy or enjoy that much, and I felt that the pacing was all over the place (the story of the Chateau gets interrupted all out of sudden). Overall, I don't think it is a good primer for Reisz's world, although there is a character who is making me consider reading more of Reisz's books.

Very well written and constructed as always!
I loved to get to know Kingsley even better. He is a wonderful character! Which is the only reason why I could forgive him his descision ;-)
For all the Original-Sinner-Lovers put there this is a must. For everyone who doesn't know who I'm talking about: GO! Start reading "The Siren" and fall behind the Looking Glass ;-)

This was a quick read and OMG, was it fun!!!! This was my first book by Tiffany Reisz, made available from NetGalley. I didn't realize that it was book 9 (!!!) in the series, but to be honest, it didn't matter in the end. I didn't feel that i needed to read 8 prior books in order to fully enjoy this one. And enjoy I did!. Kingsley is such a fun character He is handsome, he is cocky, he is funny, he is arrogant. What not to love? It would also be fun to read a whole book about Madame, I would love to learn more about her and her relationship with her husband (she kicked him out 15 years ago, but is still in love with him. There is something to it)

Kingsley has always been my favorite character in the Original Sinners series. He's so complex. So misunderstood. So.....rawr. I love me some Kingsley. Miss Reisz did NOT disappoint. There was a little twist at the end that I did NOT see coming at ALL and I absolutely loved it. I loved getting to know Kingsley a little better and seeing what makes him, him.

Paris. 1989.

Kingsley is a 24 year old agent in some secret french military branch.

He was supposed to have another two weeks off, but now his boss sends him on a new 'adventure'. The 19 year old nephew of the colonel is staying at this mysterious 'Château' place.

They don't know if he wants to be there or if he's being held against his will.

Off to the sex château Kingsley goes.....

Eeeep. Finally back with our darlings. ♥

Well, it's mostly only darling King, but the Priest is there too - all through the book - mostly in Kingsley's dreams and memories!

And that's basically what is happening. King is happy being at that sex 'cult' place - it's kinda his sexiest dream come true. But in his nightly dreams and nightmares he tries to come to grips with his love/hate relationship with Søren.

And while dealing with his Søren problems, Kingsley is having an amazing and a very sexy time at this place. No idea why his boss is so worried about his nephew. Or is there something happening here that Kingsley hasn't discovered yet??? ☺

Amazing book! No idea how Tiffany manages to write every single Sinners book just SO perfectly perfect. So heartbreakingly amazing that we fall in love with those guys all over again - every single time!?

I just LOVED seeing Kingsley & Søren again. Even though the Priest was never really here.☺

It was exciting and mega erotic and moving and sad and my heart broke a little for our young King. Ugh. That poor guy. This unbelievably huge love he has for that winter-smelling blondie....

I just adore all of this!

I enjoyed reading this story so much and I strongly suggest that Tiffany should write a Sinners book every other month for the rest of eternity!!!! ☺ Thank You!

Oh and if you're new to the #OriginalSinners, you should start with book #1! You need to read every single word ever written about The Priest and his King and Queen!!! ASAP!

Tiffany Reisz is one my "automatically buy" lists and even more so when it's an original sinners. And this book didn't disappoint. We follow 24 years old Kingsley when he was a spy for the french army and he goes on a mission at the Château : a sex cult inspired by the story f O (and I highly recommend reading it to appreciate this one even more.
King being King, there's hot, sweaty sex and Tiffany being Tiffany there's banter and well written angst!
I loved seeing a glimpse of Kingsley when he was still somewhat innocent and naïve (but not too much, it's Kingsley we're talking about), especially knowing what happens a few years down the line. So once again, a great read by Tiffany Reisz!

I lived this novel set in the original sinners universe. This story lets you discover what shaped Kingsley in his younger years and made him the King. This book is set in the universe of the Chateau, a place where women rule and men serve. Kingsley becomes embroiled in intrigues and manipulations at the hands of Madame and the plots will make your head spin. How can you tell reality from fiction??!!
This story was magical and intriguing and I truly enjoyed reading it ! Also, Søren makes a brief appareance in the end ;) This author really writes amazing, quality stories and this is another one of them! If you like the Sinners, you will devour this!

Once again, bravo to Tiffany. I devoured this novel in less than 24 hours and was sad to see it end.

Feminists are once again making a stand in the world and the timing seems quite perfect as this novel is an intriguing look into the world of a strong, sadistic and mysterious woman.

A 24 year old Kingsley is a delight to know. He’s fun, he’s horny and he’s as sexy as ever. But he’s as always, ever the gent. This story gives us another look into the why’s and how’s and gives us greater understanding about the foundations Kingsley goes on to build his life upon.
So many paragraphs in this story took me back to where it all began and my mind was transported back to a sad and emotional chapter for Kingsley in the fictional lives of The Original Sinners, yet he longed to be back there with the boy in white. For me, reminiscing was sheer bliss.

Another masterpiece from Tiffany Reisz.

How does she do it? No really HOW?! Whenever I return to the original sinners series, no matter the time period or place, I feel like I’m coming home. Don’t get me wrong, I love all of Ma. Reisz’s other novels. I love her mysteries her historicals and her romances, but there is just something so exquisite about her erotic novels. She has created the holy trinity of characters, Nora, Soren and Kingsley. This novel focuses on Kingsley at the young age of 24 and living in France. His job is sort of like a secret agent/assassin and he is told to investigate a sex “cult” where the men who disappear there, never want to leave. We meet some exquisite women who love sex and love to dominate including the Madame, no other name, that’s it. Oh and the men serve the women not just sexually, but in all things like cooking and cleaning etc. I love the little twists and turns and the references to the Story of O and obviously, Kingsley’s smart mouth. If you love this series then trust me, you will absolutely love this addition to this insanely kinky and awesome world that only Ms. Reisz could create.

Thanks to netgalley for this ARC

Of all the authors that I read, Tiffany Reisz is in my top 3. Her soon to be released 'The Chateau' is set in her Original Sinners world, and I was thrilled to reconnect with my favourite characters. It wouldn't be a Tiffany book without feeling emotionally drained and exilerated at the same time. The story cleverly moves back and forward through time; explaining the present and reminding us of the past, giving context to the events as they unfold.
No-one writes erotica as well as Tiffany- so brace yourself, you're in for quite a ride.
Another triumph Mistress- I loved every word.
