I had not read the previous books in the series but I found this to be really enjoyable with good characters.
The writing reminded me very much of EE Doc Smith and the Skylark series although a lot more erotic/sexier.

I liked it but I have to admit I did not love this one it just felt like it needed something more the writing was good and there was lots of chemistry between the characters but I never really felt the love just plenty of lust but that could just be me if you read and enjoyed the previous books then you will want to try this.

Wow. I have to say it took me a little bit to get into this book, but this is my first book in this series. I didn't realize it was a series at first. It took some time building this world in my head, but Wow! This author was very thorough and did a magnificent job. Once it was formed, this was an awesome book to read. The details and imagination were phenomenal. The characters were great and had depth. I will be returning to the previous books to fill in what I missed. Great job. Really loved it!

Susan Kearney is an excellent author and this book continues that trend. Vi and Jordan make for an interesting couple and their relationship develops more gradually than sometimes happens - which I appreciate because I ‘m no great fan of insta-love romances. The plot is intense and I found the aspect of King Arthur’s Court most intriguing. I gather this’s is one of a series so I’ll definitely be looking for the rest to read. Recommended.

A great story, and better yet it looks like I missed the beginning of this series, so more books to read by Susan Kearney! She surprised me where she went with Arthur and Lady Guinevere , and Lancelot. Did not expect it but loved it. Earth is to be enslaved or destroyed, humans, shifters, aliens and a dog named George, something for everyone.

For the Final book in this series I was left feeling a little disappointed .......I can't put my finger on quite why ..........maybe it was the characters , particularly Jordan ,and their lack of meaningful interaction .
It just felt like some parts were drawn out and then the scenes I really enjoyed ended much too soon.

Vivianne is a woman in constant control , she rules her business empire and her life with a strong, predictable hand .Jordan is such a man on a quest nothing can get in his way ..........least of all stealing Vivianne's spaceship behind her back .
While Earth finds itself in a state of impending destruction, Jordan must convince Vivianne that he knows what he is doing ................that only the success of his quest can save not just Earth but also the galaxy .
Whilst the action is fast paced , some of the character's actions leave me questioning ....what? why?
I did love the interactions with Arthur Pendragon and the final reveal as to why he could not interfere directly ................a big surprise !

I love this Author's books , her imagination and world building makes for great storytelling .

This book combined shape shifting dragons, tales of King Arthur's court, space travel and pure romance! What more could a reader want?! Jordan and Vi worked as a team to save the planet and endear themselves to readers. I loved the Vi was extremely intelligent, self motivated and badass.

This was the first book I read in this series, but that was okay it is a stand alone novel. The premise was interesting and the characters were likeable, but there was nothing that really stood out in this story. There was insta lust instead of insta love, and although it was fast for the characters to declare their undying love at least they got to know each other first.

The writing isn't bad, but this is not one of those books you can't put down. I did zone out a few times and skimmed pages but I never got lost or missed anything important. If you like dragons and Arthurian legends you'll probably like his book. If you're bored and just want to read something, this book is fine. But this book did not inspire me to want to read any of the other books in this series and I doubt I'll be reading any future installments.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have read each book in the series and enjoyed the quest for the Holy Grail to make sure that the Tribes would not succeed i destroying the Earth. This book was about Vivianne, owner of Vesta, and Jordan who was not just an engineer but Merlin.

This is a great take on the Camelot and King Arthur tales to include dragon shifters and space technology. Merlin, using the name Jordan, is taking up the quest to find the keys to the staff and then find the Holy Grail. Only after retrieving them and uniting the two will everyone be safe from the evil Tribes.

Along with this quest, Jordan and Vivianne find that they are attracted to each other and yet Jordan fights the attachment because he must complete his mission or lives will be lost. Plus, once he joins the staff and the Grail, he will die.

Vivianne can't help but feel the pain that Jordan puts his mission first but you can understand Jordan's got the future of the world to consider. So much for them to figure out and deal with their feelings.

It was great that they found out that Arthur was still alive, and living in a new Camelot with Guieverre and Lancelot - as a three some marriage! Much better ending than the usual tragic tale!

This book was fun to read, hard to put down with all the action and such steamy love scenes! I am sorry that this seems to conclude the Pendragon series as I was really enjoying them!

A Dragon to Trust is a staggeringly exquisite journey that is so much more than just a paranormal romance. It is a story about Fate pushing people and events together in an unexpected way that shakes people to their very core. They struggle to maintain focus while not allowing any deep, permanent connections to take hold and grow. All too soon, they realize that they can’t stop what is happening. All they can do is hold on for the ride and accept it. Of course, that never happens in a smooth or natural way, but that is what makes the story develop such deep and meaningful connections to readers. Without that connection, a story is not worth reading. This book is an incredible delight for your mind and an awe-inspiring journey for your heart.

Vivianne is a woman in constant control. She rules her business empire and her life with a strong, predictable hand, and she doesn’t take kindly to those that rock her world. Jordan is such a man who intends to do more than just rock her world. He intends to change the universe, and he doesn’t feel the need to ask anyone’s opinion least of all Vivianne’s. While Earth finds itself in a state of impending destruction, Jordan must convince Vivianne that he knows what he is doing which is the only thing that will save Earth and every other planet in existence. She hopes she can survive another day when she should be more concerned with her heart surviving the force that is Jordan.

I absolutely loved watching the sudden yet gradual change in Vivianne and Jordan not just to the danger they find themselves in, but in their growing connection to each other. The incredible characters, the spectacular plot, and the imaginative twists and turns along the way literally astounded me and kept my heart enthralled. I kept wishing for Jordan and Vivianne to catch a break and when they finally did, it was in a magnificent way that warmed my heart to the very core. I read the last words with a light, happy heart, and I can’t wait to read more by this amazing author!

While this is the first book I have read by this author, it will not be the last. I enjoyed her immense creativity and her boundless heart for the world she meticulously created and brought to life. Nothing makes me happier then reading a story from any author who puts their entire heart and soul into their creation and then sends it into the world for it to be experienced, savored, and cherished. This is one author NOT to be missed if you love being surprised and challenged.
