I loved, loved , loved this! The characters were great, loved that Cupid was sensitive to Ursula's nervousness in diving into this new world. Especially liked that there was a story and not just sex scenes after sex scenes...tho thats not bad lol. Above all, I loved that there was a HEA.....Im a sucker for those. Looking forward to reading more of Dianas books!! |
It's a very fun and interesting read--got to learn a few new things. I liked most of the characters, and I actually ended up rereading it a few times after I finished it the first time. I liked the "twist" at the end and I would continue reading the series. |
Enjoyed this read. Finished it in a couple of hours only!! The characters were awesome. Ursula is a shy newbie but has great promise. The Cupid in this book is hot and just right in my book. The masquerade is just what Ursula needs to get out of her comfort zone. I would have liked more of a prologue. The scenes were hot!!!! Let's not get off this train if we don't have to!!! I received this ARC from the publisher at my request for an honest review via Net Galley. Thanks NET Galley!!!! |

This was the first time I have read an erotic book and it will not be my last. Diana Rose Wilson is an awesome writer. I usually read historical romances and Mrs Wilson has lead me over to reading a different genre. I truly enjoyed this book and so did my husband! ;) |
Ursa is an unassuming clerk at a book shop, but has a shared interest in kink with her friend, who invites her to a weekend masquerade. There, under masks and a hidden identity, Ursa is able to indulge in her wild fantasies and unleash her inner domme. There is a lot of attention paid to the details in Ursa's character and life, as well as the details for the weekend getaway. The sex is hot and the kink is well and lovingly described. Even kinks that I usually don't read about are so well done that it made me just as interested as the characters. As the start of a series, this definitely has enough of an ending that needs further exploration. It would be interesting to see how things develop in future novels. |
Other than my personal dislike for the word cum, which is used throughout, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The leads are well fleshed out and easy to like. The chemistry between them was smoking hot. Scenes involved femdom and maledom... and pegging, swoon! The pony play was nothing like I've read before and totally delightful. I felt like I was at the races! As a lover of femdom, I was going to jump right into book 2, but given the I'm not a fan of the wicked ex causing trouble, I don't think it will be my cuppa. Nice steamy book. However character development and actual story content was a bit lacking. On the other hand, who goes in to an erotica looking for story plot and character development? ;) |

This book was steamy!! The story basically revolves around a giant sex party where people hook up for the duration of the party then head back to their normal lives. I enjoyed how the author was very educated in the lifestyle. I also enjoyed how this book focuses on Ursa finding her confidence throughout the novel. |
Slow at times, but overall an interesting & sufficiently erotic novel. Sometimes became repetitive. Would recommend. |
Quick, sexy HOT read. This story was written very well, I felt as if I was reading a book of several hundred pages, but then it ends to quickly |
This was a pretty quick steamy and very sweet at the end read. I liked to see how the main character grew through to the book and her connection both physical and emotional with Cupid. This was a pretty great read. |
A woman is invited to what she thinks will be an all-out orgy, immediately feeling inferior to all the supermodel types. She finds the affair more classy than anticipated, with plenty of new rules. Most people are nice to her but there’s also some jerks, especially after she attracts the attention of a famous stud. One encounter with him, with her in charge, and she’s staying for more despite her previous plans. The erotic scenes were wonderful, but what really set this book apart was the rest: small moments of introspection, surprising humor, and the description of two people genuinely liking each other. I always read to the end, and I’m glad I did this time, as I found this is the author’s first book. If she’s this good her first time out, I definitely look forward to the next. |
This was my first book from Diana Wilson. It was an Easy. Quick. Sexy. Read. It's a shame it was too short but still enjoyable. I'll definitely check out her other selections. |

This book was just okay for me. The description caught my interest and it was a quick paced read, but I think it just needs to be longer to flush out some of the unexplained plot lines (the wings??). |
I really enjoyed this book, parts of it were slightly strange but as will happen in books like this. A lot shorter than I thought it would be, I read it within a couple of hours! |
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2396288618?book_show_action=true&from_review_page=1 This is the story of a woman called Ursa who attends her first masquerade weekend and doesn't know what to expect. She meets a man she calls cupid, and the story is about her domination of him the entire weekend. It was a fairly predictable read for me, and I wasn't totally enthralled with it. Easy enough to pick up and put down but i wasn't grabbed by the characters or the story. |

I loved this story. The kink was realistic and the characters were enjoyable. I was disappointed it ended I wanted more. |
Not everyone can write great erotica, but Diana Rose Wilson does an amazing job. Really hot sex with women in control. Hot men, masquerades and sexy situations make this a panty dropping read. I was wondering if she could get an invitation for one of these parties. I received this book for an honest review from Net Galley |
This was a sexy and enjoyable story. I found myself wishing it was longer, as there were some aspects that seemed unresolved, and the posturing during the masquerade was a bit much for me - but overall, it was an entertaining read. I received a free ARC via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. |
I quite enjoyed this book. I like the premise of the party and the keys and also the effect of this with different characters. The masquerade idea is also a nice touch. I really liked seeing Ursa develop throughout the book and all of her experiences and feeling too. |
