A great, empowering story about a little girl trying hockey! That it is written in both French and English makes it great for a language classroom.

This was a very interesting book. I enjoyed reading this book to my son. This story follows Lucy in her journey to learn how to play hockey. This book shows the importance of support, hard work, and endurance. Since Lucy does not give up she is able to keep learning and growing and conquer something that she didn't think she could. Great book and a very good message behind the story.

This is a cute book on how to play hockey, translated into French. The language is simple and the illustrations are colourful, detailed and whimsical. The story is about a little girl named Lucy who goes to an outdoor rink with her family, sees people playing hockey and asks to learn how. The next day her parents sign her up and away we go! The story encourages children to get active and to practice sports.
The font selected provides clues to exciting moments in the story.
I enjoyed reading the story to my preschooler who paid attention the whole way through.

Adorable story. My kid loved it. I like that a girl gets to try a traditionnaly masculine sport. Cute story. J'ai adoré ce livre.
