Joe Lynch is a high school English teacher who adores his ambitious wife Mel and their four year old son William. Happy and contented with his lot in life, Joe decides to follow his wife into a hotel when William notices his mother’s car. This one simple rashly made decision ends up changing Joe’s life.

This book grabs you right from the start. While I thought Joe was rather wimpish, I liked his devotion to his son and completely understood the trust he showed for his wife. I thought the characters were believable and relatable, the heavy emphasis on Social Media was certainly accurate as well as the various spyware technology.

Fast paced, and with a satisfying ending, made Lies an enjoyable read.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

"Lying well is a lot harder than people think. Things get complicated, people lose track."
Wow! A plot that had me up to find out in a day!
Poor Joe ,an honest, easy going, married school teacher, who thinks his life is perfect.
UNTIL... the lies begin and he really has no idea who the people in his life are.
My heart was racing and the ending is unbelievable! You will definitely want to read this and see where the lies begin and where do they end!

Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for the electronic copy in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this novel. I kept thinking I knew what really was going on but in the end was so surprised. Great complex characters that make you love them and hate them the whole way through.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC.

I'm so disappointed about this book. It had a good premise but it just didn't deliver. I found it to be all over the place. I kept reading to find out the end and to give an honest review. I was hoping it was going to pick up and get a lot better. Again, it was all over the place and the scenarios were far fetched. I find that someone was picking little pieces for all the scenarios that could be good and thru it in a blender.

Jo found out that his wife is cheating on him with a friend. Then friend is out to get him... That's the gist of it.
Don't get me wrong... I did not see the end coming but it was not worth it.

Amazing book! My first by this Author. When Joe follows his wife's car into the car park of a hotel to please his young son, he does not expect to see her with her best friend's husband, This story grabbed me at the beginning and didn't let go. I didn't even mind being led down the garden path by the Author! I could not have predicted the ending. I highly recommend this book. Thank you NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and the Author for allowing me to read and review this book.

I loved this book!! A fast moving plot with lots of twists and turns. I never would have predicted the ending! This book was unlike many other books that I have read lately, because it captured my interest from the very first chapter. The author ended every chapter with a cliff hanger, which was very unique to me. I literally found myself saying I would read just a couple more pages and yet I could not put it down. I would highly recommend this book. It was a joy to read. Great story line, great writing style!

This book is interesting at the start, but my feeling is that the author neglected to deliver a cohesive ending and realistic motives.

I expected more from the book, it seemed as if it lost its potential. I’m sorry I was disappointed.

I know people always talk about books they can't put down, but this is the first time I've read a book in one sitting. Grabs you, sucks you in and you can't move until the last page. First rate thriller, and ten stars to this author who I'd like to see a lot more of!

I was given an advance copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.

One of the best books I have read this year! A brilliant, heart stopping, roller coaster ride!! Joe Lynch is an average guy. A school teacher with a four year old son and a wife he adores. He lives a predictable, ordinary life, highlighted only by games he plays with his son and the occasional family barbeque. One ordinary night on the way home from picking his son up at school he sees his wife's car turn into a hotel parking garage. What ensues next is a brilliant psychological thriller that will keep the reader guessing late into the night. Impossible to put down! A page turning, nail biting thriller for fans of Gone Girl and Girl on a Train. Nothing is as it seems as Joe's ordinary world become extraordinary and he rushes against time to find out the truth. about that night.

Wow! Not only is the story gripping but I fell in love with and became even more immersed in the writing! I felt like I was Joe himself and my heart was racing to the very last page. This is the first book I've read by T. M. Logan but I'll be trying to get my hands on 29 Seconds as soon as I can! Very enthralling and captivating thriller and surpassed my expectations!

Review: LIES by T. M. Logan

Wow! Wow! Wow! LIES fulfills every hype blurb I've ever read about psychological thrillers, maximally! I couldn't catch my breath; I couldn't stop. Feckless Protagonist Joe Lynch is an unassuming secondary teacher of English literature in a London private academy. He loves his wife and is very devoted to his four-year-old son, William (quite possibly more devoted than William's mother). As often happens, Nice Guys (and the Feckless) don't succeed, and often either life dumps on them or they are viewed as a patsy by the winner-takes-all mentality. For Joe, a combination of these suddenly kicks into play, and Joe finds his personal world topsy-turvy, his reputation a shambles, his career destroyed, his marriage collapsing, and himself under suspicion of murder.

No matter how I tried and twisted possibilities, the denouement was still a knockout punch. What a novel!

What an awesome book! I think my heart was in my throat from the second chapter. There is so much action and drama. The lies just keep piling up. Ben was such an evil part of the story. So when the last twist of the book comes out I was totally amazed. This is the best book I have read in a very long time! This author deserves awards upon awards.

Joe and his son follow his wife's car one afternoon and find her parked in a hotel parking lot. Upon entering the hotel lobby they see a friend's husband in an argument with Joe's wife. Joe's wife leaves in a hurry and Joe and the man (Ben) get into an argument in the parking lot. Ben pushes Joe and when Joe pushes Ben back, Ben falls and hits his head. Joe and his young son high tail it out of the parking lot and to home where Joe can ask his wife what is going on. I read about the first 40-50 pages and then found myself bored. I like twists and turns but every character in this book tells one lie after another and it's too confusing. I then went to the very end of the book and didn't care for the ending either.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to preview LIES. Wow - This book captivated me from page 1 till the end.
Joe Lynch is an ordinary guy - he has a wife, child, good job, and all is well in his world. That's until one day when he is driving and sees his wife with one of their friends in a parking garage. Joe doesn't know what's going on, but he intends to find out. This detour changes Joe's life the way he knows it. If you could change one thing you did in the course of a day in hindsight, you just might do it and Joe Lynch wishes he never followed his wife into that parking garage.
This is fast paced, written in first person POV, and takes the reader on Joe's roller coaster ride. One day he is a ordinary man, and the next he is a fugitive wanted for murder.
Logan does a great job getting the reader invested in the plot immediately and with a surprise ending, readers will be engaged till the very end.
My first book by Logan, and not my last. Recommend.

Joe Lynch makes a quick decision to follow his wife’s care one day when he and his young son see her in traffic. When he catches up to her in a parking garage, she’s arguing with Ben, the husband of one of her friends. Joe gets out to assist his wife and the fight escalates, with Ben being knocked unconscious. Joe has to leave then, because his son has an asthma attack that needs immediate medical attention. When Joe comes back later, both Ben and his car are gone. Now, the father and husband is in the middle of a nightmare, he gets threatening texts from Ben, while at the same time Ben’s wife reports him missing. This is one wild read! Ben is a little too trusting, but the story is pure dynamite!
