Great story about true love finally comming together to the mc’s. Sweet, with drama from rich snobby parents, and ex husband that cheated before and now what’s to get his ex wife back and lastly the forbiddenness of a love that Cash had to hid for years for Callie and then when the time where she makes the first more he wants to fight it even through his heart said go for it. But his best friend and business partner his the ex husband and he wants the girl back for the name and money. But who will get their HEA and who will get jack crap.?.??

This was a really sweet book - with some super hot steamy sex in it. The title - to be honest - is pretty misleading. You would expect it to be a little more hard edged - but the relationship between Cash and Callie was lovely. When I read a Kelly Jamieson book, one of the things I love the best is how real her writing is. Her characters are always believable and are so real you feel that you know them. They are also true to their circumstances. I really liked all the characters - and I hope we get to see more of the people in this book!

Screwed is a heartwarming, deliciously sweet and sexy story of a character who finds her own self worth after divorce... and finds a second chance at love in the most inconvenient place. I absolutely ADORED this book. From cover to cover,  I was transfixed, completely consumed by the chemistry and undeniable passion between Callie Sutherland and Cash Hale... HER EX HUSBAND'S BEST FRIEND!!  Chin... meet floor.

I'm not a huge fan of third person point of view but Kelly Jamieson makes me forget that. I'm immediately wrapped up in her words EVERY SINGLE TIME and I don't think that's ever been more true than in this book. Screwed is my new favorite from Jamieson, hands down. This story is angsty and romantic and steamy, it checks off all the must-have boxes in a good love story. But it's SO MUCH more than that. It's about girl power and finding inner strength and discovering your self worth with or without a man. I wanted to high five Callie. I fell so hard for her and her emotional journey and her determination and her bravery. I rooted for her the whole way through and I loved her story SO MUCH.

But Cash is the delicious frosting on an already delectable cake. He makes this gem of a story that much more irresistible. He's as sweet and charming as one of Callie's tasty treats and I couldn't get enough of him. You'll need a box of macarons while reading this book to satisfy the sugar craving you'll undoubtedly be left with, and you'll need a shot of tequila to take the edge off of what Cash and Callie's push and pull will do to your nerves.

Screwed pulls you in straight out of the gate and never lets up. It's full of romantic feels, peppered with angst and longing, and nails you right in the heart in the best kind of way. This is a story you'll root for, a forbidden kind of love story that is too right to be wrong, an intoxicating romance that is impossible to put down. I adored this charming story and I can't recommend it enough.

Based off this title I wasn't expecting this to be such a sweet story. Both main characters were genuinely good people that were just in a difficult situation. I really liked both of them and loved seeing these two together despite the obstacles in their way.

Back in college, Cash's best friend beat him to the girl first. He had to stuff down his attraction to Callie and watch his best friend date and eventually marry her. This story begins after Callie divorces Baeu and spent a year traveling.

It was the perfect way to start the story so that enough time had lapsed for Callie and Cash to have their beginning. That doesn't mean there wasn't still a barrier for them. Cash is a true gentlemen. He knows Callie should be off limits despite the divorce but his love for her was just too strong.

Cash's love for Callie is what really made this such a sweet story for me. He waited for her for so long, tried to stay loyal to his best friend and business partner but his love for her trumped everything.

Despite the situation, this wasn't an overly angsty story. The author gave a good portion of the story to these two just being together as good friends that turns to more. I enjoyed it very much and loved how everything resolved in the end.

Where should i start? I could tell you that you need to read this book, if you want to see how a true heroine should be in a book, how maybe when it comes to love and fidelity isn't always a black and white type of thing, to learn to love yourself and believe in yourself and think you are good enough.

This book made me cry, because it hit a rough spot for me, maybe that's why the 5* rating. But it wasn't just that. The amazing alpha caveman, out of the world smut and dirty talk, strong character heroine (she's absolutely perfect) and the story itself made me love it this much.

I love this author and I have loved so many of her previous books but this was missing something. It was so complicated in the beginning it really takes a lot of focus to understand these characters and who and what they are talking about. I really wanted these characters to be strong and true to themselves yet they both sink under the pressure of others. By chapter 4 I was about ready to be done with this book, it was just so overly complicated. I pushed on but needed to take many breaks because I was either board and just trying to finish or it was just such a jacked up situation. Overall, this book was alright.

I really enjoyed this sweet friends to lovers story. It is sexy and smart and has just the right amount of humor infused into it. Kelly is one of my go-to romance authors because she always makes me smile. Cash & Callie are so good for each other and just perfect together. Poor Cash has been in love with Callie since his best friend Beau dated her in college and then married her. Now divorced from Beau, Cash is still there for Callie but he still works with Beau so his feelings tear him up. He tries so hard to just be friends with Callie but his heart gets in the way and he just gets in deeper. Yep that’s right, he’s screwed. There is no way he can keep from going down the rabbit hole with Callie. He's so sweet, amazing and lovable and is there for Callie always; he’s the perfect man. Callie is so lovable, sweet and amazing too. See, they really are perfect for each other, but can they overcome the roadblocks life sets in their way?
One such roadblock has a name, and it’s Beau and things could get ugly.

Callie Sutherland is a woman on a mission, after a devastating divorce she has vowed to make her life about her for a change, and plans to fully enjoy every second of it, and if that means acting on her longtime crush, and hooking up with with her exes best friend then by damned she is going to do it! Screwed is an enthralling forbidden romance that will put a squeeze on your heart and leave a permanent blush on your face... forbidden has never been so sweet!! I thoroughly enjoyed this one, it had moments that were sweet and tender, and then some hot and steamy moments that required a fan... it was good mix of everything really! The characters were downright amazing, I loved Callie's tenacity and the way she went after what she wanted and didn't let others perceptions of right and wrong get in the way. And there is SO much to love about Cash, he was loyal, sweet, caring, protective and knew how to turn on the heat! I highly recommend you give this one a try it's sure to leave you smiling!!

Really sweet romance. This is the first romance that I have read by her that wasn't sports related. It was nice to read a book with a different setting while still maintaining the same level of charm, humor and tenderness I associate with this author's books.
Her characters always seem to display a certain integrity and honesty in dealing with whatever obstacles they face and I find that really attractive.
Callie and Cash were so well suited and geniune. Callie was never really valued by her parents and ex for the sweet, warm, kind and smart person that she is. They were more concerned about appearances and that she followed their guidelines for appropiate behaviour without regard to her personal happiness. Cash however loved her for who she is and wanted to see her happy. His dilemma was that her ex was his best friend and business partner.

This was a sexy, well written, low angst contemporary romance.
So happy to get this ARC. Kelly Jamieson knows the way to my heart, she writes such enjoyable reads.

p.s. I found the title really misleading. I can only assume that the author meant to imply that our hero is "screwed" in regards to pursuing a relationship with Callie because of his best friend status with her ex husband.

What a delightful sweet story with such nice characters. The title is not all that relevant to the story. I felt the characters were good people with a few pressures but their character shown through. Even the characters who were negative turned reasonable for a true HEA. You'll be pleased with this story.

This is a first for the author for me and I really enjoyed it. The story line was thorough and it felt like watching a good movie. Cash has got to be one of the best book boyfriends. He's loyal, sweet, kind, sexy, and very supportive. He really allowed Callie to blossom after her divorce and be the person she was always meet to be. This is my 4th or 5th book by this author and she is one of my current favorites! The books have a great storyline, great editing, hot and just right sex scenes with each scene differing enough to keep it good!

In addition, all of the books that I’ve have read by this author are distinct, not repeats of each other or carbon copies of the same character types.

The angst and turmoil among the characters in this story give it great build up and have you rooting for a serious HEA. Strong H and h, from different worlds who obviously respect each other and belong together!

Can’t wait to read more by this author!

Callie is recently divorced from Beau who is best friends and business partners with Cash. Callie and Cash became friends through her ex-husband way back in college. Cash has always had feelings for Callie. Years later, Cash still helps Callie when he can even though her and Beau are no longer together. And although he tries to keep everything platonic with Callie, he can’t help but continue falling in love with her. This is a friends to lovers book. I was happy when Beau stopped being an ass towards the end. (You’ll know what I am talking about when you read this part.)
This is my first book by this author even though I have seen her name several times. This does not appear to be part of a series. Overall, I recommend this book.

LOVED this book! It is everything you would expect from the author - a well crafted and sexy contemporary romance filled with humor and poignant moments. She made me care about the characters and fell invested in their story. Callie is sweet, funny, and lovable....to everyone but the people that should love her most. Cash is hard working and running a company that he co-owns with his best friend....who is Callie's ex-husband.

This novel is set up perfectly with the friends to lovers concept, but with the ex-husband and Callie's parents as complications. I found myself rooting for the characters and wanting them to get their HEA ending. This one is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list.
