Take a trip to the Australian Outback with His Outback Temptation by Annie Seaton. This is the last book of the adult children returning home to Prickle Creek and I am just now finding this series. How did I miss it? Sebastian and Bella’s story makes you want to read them all. At least it did for me.

It is a returning home story but with plenty of match making and meddlesome family, that you can’t help but love. The story keeps you reading with the wedding activities, the developing romance between Seb and Bella and the building tension of the question, will Bella go or stay. What should Seb do in the end? Well done Aussie romance.

Another enjoyable read by Annie Seaton, exploring expectations put upon us, whether they are perceived or real and how they can change our lives. Sebastian and Isabella both have their own dreams and family obligations, can they work things out so they can both be happy.

This is a heartwarming and enjoyable story about love, friendship and family, against the background of beautiful Australian Outback landscapes.
Sebastian is a gorgeous hero, who masks some hidden hurt beneath his metrosexual appearance. His boyish charm, his talent as a photographer, his determination to please his family and the way he woos the heroine, Isabella, make him a delightful hero.
I loved the banter, the slow way the romance progressed and the vivid descriptions of the stunning natural sceneries, so refreshingly different.

His Outback Temptation was a terrific conclusion to Ms. Seaton’s four book series about the family from Prickle Creek farm. In this book Sebastian returns to the family farm out of duty, but meets and falls in love with a visiting Bella. Bella’s life is on a set path, but It takes Seb a while to realize his true path. This book also tied up the loose ends from the three couples in the earlier books. My only complaint about the series involves the many unfamiliar vocabulary words. If this book would only be read by Australians, there would not be an issue. However, I suspect that will not be the case. I’d strongly suggest including either footnotes or a glossary to address potentially unfamiliar vocabulary.

The final grandchild-cousin gets his story and Sebastian was well worth the wait!

Gran had summoned all the cousins home to take care of the outback ranch. Sebastian had been on contract and only now able to fulfill his duty to the family. Traveling home Sebastian is pleasantly surprised by a damsel in distress who just happens to be Isabella, daughter of the local milk bar back home. These two hit it off quickly as friends with so many things in common- the problem is- the main difference is crushing. Sebastian is here to stay and Bella is here for a vacation.

I really enjoyed catching up with this family as well as getting to know both Sebastian and Bella. These two seemingly are made for one another and it's a shame they aren't going to be in the same place together for long. Sebastian feels obligated to his family and sees no way to leave his duty. Bella has seen what staying means as her father has done exactly that when her mother decided to leave. Bella wants more from life and there is simply nothing left in her old town but the outback. She is used to the big city and it's fast paced life.

When feelings are real and strong how can these two become more than each other's temptation?

**I received a copy of His Outback Temptation from Net Galley in exchange for an honest and voluntary review**

His Outback Temptation by Annie Seaton is the final book in her Pickle Creek series. Even though I'm sad that the series has ended I'm sure Gran Helena isn't done with her matchmaking in the family. However Sebastian and Isabella's story wasn't my favorite it's still worth all 4 stars. I just wish that Seb & Bella had more of a connection to each other instead of dancing around the will she or won't she part of the story.

Sebastian has finally come home to Pickle Creek and Spring Downs but he wonders if he'll end up staying because the farm life isn't what he loves as much as his photography. When he steps in to save Isabella from her overzealous seat mate, little does he know that she'll be come home also. When they arrive at her father's milk bar they both realize that their careers are very important to each other and farm life isn't what they want to do.

Isabella Romano is coming home only for six weeks to hopefully convince her father to finally return to Italy with her mother. As a chef with her dream job waiting in England after her visit ends with her father is very surprised how much has changed in Spring Downs. With shops closed and everyone driving to the nearest town she wonders how long her father can afford to stay. After the caterer cancels on Lucy and Jemima's wedding she'll enjoy having something to create for them. But will Seb finally tell Bella that he has fallen in love with her but knows that his family expects him to help take over the farm will he stay or won't he?

The premise of this book is that two individuals who barely knew each other from her time living in the same small outback town as a child meet up as they’re coming back to that town. Sebastian Richards is a successful photographer who has spent the last couple of years in Florence Italy. He is now returning home to the family farm because...well, the only reason we’re given is that his grandparents who raised him and his cousins asked them all to come back and the other three cousins are now happily married living in this Outback town. Sebastian feels guilty for not returning so he has decided to give up a career he loves and is very good at to return to a farm and location he doesn’t like all that much.

He meets Isabella Romano, a successful chef who is returning to visit her father who runs a small milk bar in that town. She also has spent the last few years in Florence and now has a dream job waiting for her working in a top restaurant in England. She wants to persuade her father to move to Europe where her mother lives because her mother left her father when she was a kid. It’s never all that clear why the father wanted to stay in that town with his not-very-successful milk bar and why her parents, who still love and miss each other, couldn’t come to some resolution, but Bella wants to persuade him to get back together with his wife.

Neither Sebastian nor Bella is that happy to be back in this small community. We’re told continually how suffocating and boring they find it. Their only consolation is the growing relationship they have with each other. The scenery of the location sounds lovely, but I can see why they wouldn’t want to stay there, especially since they both have careers that need to be somewhere else.

And that was my problem with the story. It just seemed that their story would have been more interesting in the other locations where they were working in their chosen professions. I was more interested in the romance they never had when they were actually living a few blocks from each other in Florence and didn’t realize it or the romance they could have in England when she moves there. That would have shown them at their best rather than having them both moping around in the Outback. I know it’s presumptuous to take the characters that an author created and wish she had written a different book, but that’s what I kept thinking of as I was reading this one.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I love this! I've read one more of the books in this series and love the characters and the small outback town of Prickle Creek. Annie does so well describing the land and the how it looks and changes with the sunset. I like that the "Aussie"part is not too over the top, Annie keeps it real with the slang/lingo. This is a great easy read.

igh! You don't hear that from me often if ever. I loved this book. Loved it. The last of the adult children called home to Prickle Creek with Sebastian bringing up the rear. World renown photographer living in Italy and he finally decides it's time to pitch in and do his part on the family farm that Gran and Harry left to the 4 them. Seb and his 3 cousins. The previous books were their stories and if you haven't read them they are must reads.
Seb is headed home and on his same flight is another bush refugee, coming home from Italy to see if she can shag her father to Italy to be with her mother, who moved there without him. Her dad owns the milk bar in town and refuses to leave the bush. Stubborn man. Isabella had the misfortune of sitting next to a creep on the flight from Singapore so when she gets off the plane spotting Seb, she throws her arms around him and tells him to kiss her! Passionately ! Kiss me like you mean it!
Seb remembers Bella was friends with his cousin Lucy and Jemima. They all went to school together.
He knows her Dad owns the milk bar, best milkshakes in town and the two decide to make the trek, the very long trek together to home.
Bella has no plans to stay in Prickle Creek, she's got her dream job waiting for her in England. Odd, Seb has come home to try and fulfill some sort of duty her feels he should, and he tries his best, convinced himself he could live here and be happy, with his family. His family, who all have families of their own. He's still single. He and Bella spend a lot of time together. Bella is trying to get her father to go to Italy, her father wants her mother to come home and nary the two shall meet.
meanwhile her father thinks she should stay there and settle down. There's a lot of matchmaking and subtle hints going on but they don't really need it. They've been hands off but spend a lot of time together and he takes her out to shoot with him. Showing her what she's missing or has missed.
Neither one of them know what they're going to do. When Gran and Harry come home for a break in their world travels in only amps up the pressure. Meanwhile every day that passes is that much closer to Bella leaving for England. Then end, gah! That ending.
This story was so wonderfully woven together with the characters and dialogue especially between Seb and Bella. I really loved them. Even Gran stopped being crabby for a few minutes. What a delight to read and I feel like I know these people who live so far away. Annie makes that connection in these books. She's such a great writer. Absolutely read this book and the other 3. I loved them all.
5 spectacular stars!

advanced copy from NetGalley and Entangled for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Of the 3 books, this is my least favorite. Only because both Seb and Bella are to wishy washy about what they want. I liked it though, Just not as much.
