Enjoyable read, the heroine came across a little immature at times more like a teenager than a woman in her twenties but the story was well written and I liked the concept.

This was a solid 3.5 star book for me.

I received a copy via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not going to lie I have been in a book slump lately , starting books and not liking the first chapter and moving on. This book had some similar themes to it that the last one I didn't finish so I wasn't sure how it would go for me. I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the main character and her whole persona. She was wholesome and direct as well as steady. While she is heading into new territory for her she doesn't let the small things shake her. She sticks to her guns and leaps into learning about her rediscovered path.

I really enjoyed the sweet side of her mates and while they were alphas in their own way they were foremost concerned about her. I also liked that they were fighting against their own family in a way that was different than usually seen in this type of book. I do think that there were times it felt New adult more than others but I didn't mind it in the fact that it made out Cara as more pure and not silly or naive.

Altogether it was a fun and interesting read. I really look forward to S.D. Vieau's next installment.
