This was a very touching story about a growing romance between a woman who yearns for love, but has come to doubt her ability to pick a guy and a man who is convinced that he can’t have a relationship. Hannah is depressed when her twin sister falls in love with the guy who had been best friends with Hannah. She feels as if she is all alone and everyone she knows is finding love. She is attracted to her BF’s friend, Aiden, who is quiet but seems to enjoy her company. As they get to know one another, she falls for him and he seems to return the feelings. But Aiden had a troubled childhood and is having trouble getting beyond that. The question is whether he’ll allow Hannah to help him or whether their relationship is doomed from the outset.

I felt for both of them. They seemed real people and I was pulling for them to figure things out. This wasn’t an insta-love or insta-sex story, but one of human beings learning how to relate to each other.

This is my first book by this author. This book is part of a series, but can be read alone. However, with that being said, because Hannah (the main character) is the sister to Becca and best friend to Jase, I really wish I had read their story before reading this one. I feel like I was missing background ‘stuff’. This is just my opinion though – might not affect you at all.
This is the slow moving love story between Hannah and Aiden. Hannah was recently engaged and doesn’t feel very self-confident afterwards. Aiden is a friend of Jase’s and a fellow National Guard soldier. He also has some ‘issues’ you will learn about in this story. These two have known each other for years. Aiden has always had feelings for Hannah, but she never really seemed to notice him until Jase points out she might be leading Aiden on. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading the other ones in this series.

I was anxious for Hannah's story after her "role" in her twin sister-Becca- and Jase's story. While Hannah came off in that book as medelsome I truly felt in her story she hadn't realized the damage a false truth she told as a teen had caused. Hannah seems to be looking for a connection and is out of sorts after her twin and her best friend started dating. While I liked Hannah in this story I would have liked to have had some type of interaction/healing/bonding with these twin sisters..

Aiden is big, bad and broody. Known as a quiet man, Aiden doesn't know what to think when he and Hannah begin a texting, friendly relationship. He soon realizes what he thought something was was completely not what Hannah felt. AIden is such a loveable character. He was written with such vulnerability that Hannah was perfect for him- and he was perfect for Hannah. They complemented each other perfectly where one was outgoing and brash and the other closed off and reserved.

I enjoyed this story and hope there are more to come in this series.

This was the first time reading from this author and I am happy to say I can't wait to read more from her! Hannah finds herself in a mid life crisis. Everyone she was once close to is breaking away and finding other people. Now enter Aiden, a quite manly guardsman. He has a past that is haunting him and not letting him purse relationships. Hannah is outgoing and talkative, and ready for the mission to win over Aiden. They face some trials together and together they find themselves and each other. The only thing I wish was that there was more Aiden and Hannah scenes together!

Nicole McLaughlin is a new to me author and I was able to jump into book four of this series with no problems. Hannah and Aiden are friends, or more really friends of friends, who are attracted to each other but are hesitant to act on their feelings. Hannah is tired of settling in her relationships and Aiden is worried that he is too broken to ever have a successful romance. The two spend more time together and their feeling for each other grow but overcoming their obstacles will take work on both of their parts. I liked this book. It does delve into some deeper issues than many other romances and it is always nice to see serious topics addressed. I had a hard time connecting with Hannah but I do love a taciturn hero. I don't think I will be seeking out the other books in this series but my TBR is already out of control.

I have really enjoyed Nicole McLaughlin's Man Enough series, but was hesitant going into Only with You.

We only know a little bit about Aiden, the quiet bar owner and National Guardsman who loves to cook for his friends. Similarly, Hannah had made appearances throughout the series, but she was my least favorite character.

Over the course of the book, though, I grew to like her a lot more. You can see her growth from who she seems to be in previous books and she seems more relatable.

I always love having dual narrators in romance books so you can see the story unfold from both perspectives. With the struggles both characters have, it was good to have here. It kept the plot moving and helped the reader empathize with where Aiden and Hannah are coming from.

I hope that there will be more books in this series, but I am looking forward to whatever Nicole McLaughlin writes next!

This is the first book that I’ve read from this author and I must say the it was very intriguing. I could figure out what had happened to Aiden as a young boy but I was eager to read on and see how they handled it. This is not your typical plot found in romance books which makes it even more interesting to read.

I gotta tell you, I didn't see that coming. Aiden's secret didn't make Hannah even flinch when she finds out. Just shows how perfect they are together.

I loved this book! Only With You is book #4 in the Man Enough series, however it reads as a standalone. I have not read the first 3 books but it didn't matter, I couldn't even tell that it was part of a series, which is good thing! I like being able to bounce from book to book and not worry about what order to read them in. The rest of the books in this series are definitely going on my "to read" list though, that's for sure!
When I started the book, I thought it would be a light and fluffy romance. However, it didn't take too long before I realized there was something dark and heartbreaking going on in one of the characters lives. At times when the main couple were talking about or trying to deal with the issue I actually teared up. I liked that the author didn't shy away from tackling a sad topic that isn't often talked about...especially in romance books.

I really adore this author and I have loved this series. This is book 4 in the series and really should be read with book 3, because things happen with Jase, Hannah and Becca that effect this story as well. The book tries to describe what happens but I really think this book is more of a duet with that book, the other two stories easily stand alone but this one you need to read the story which introduces Hannah, Becca and Jase.

This is Hannah's story and we met her in the previous book. She is Jases best friend and when he falls in love with her sister, who Hannah is not close to at all, she loses Jase as he distants himself from her. So she is feeling very lonely and sad. Enter Aiden a badass military guy who is a fantastic cook and runs and owns his own bar.

Jase butts in a little and so Aiden and Hannah have some miscommunication and so they stay distant until something happens and Hannah is there for Jase. Then the two take a trip to find Aiden's mom and thats finally where things start moving in the story.

The major issue is that Aiden has been hurt, abuse by a family member and it really affected everything in his life. I think its important that you know that, because its a trigger for some people and it also makes this book more serious. It really changed his life, even after the family member died, years later, it still is keeping Aiden alone and fearful, even for a badass. Hannah has to work hard to get her man and she needs to grow up a little to be that person for Aiden.

This is something new in the serious as all the books are fun and romantic, this is the first one that had a very serious issue within the couples relationship. The author did a great job with the issue and the writing was as great as normal.
