Ah this book is so hot, sexy and full of drama. I am in love with Cabe Moss, he’s so energetic and he makes me wish he was real. His time and experience in the SEAL world plays a big part in this story.
There are many twists and turns as you read this story and there are many things that you just cannot predict in any way at all.
I also love their chemistry with each other, it’s sexy and so much fun to read!
I definitely recommend this story!
4 stars!

I liked this book, mostly for all the things about money, recycling and casinos that I learnt, but the story was also fine, even if I have to admit I found a little bit of too much drama for two supposedly Professionists.
THANKS NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

Deep Cover is nothing more than a cliche Romantic Suspense novel that can't make it out of the planning stages. The story start off with enough story that will capture readers but soon falls apart and end up with nothing more than two characters in bed together. Its a easily forgettable novel and series and almost a waste of time.
Cabe is your typical broken Hero. Amy is hot, sexy woman who is hit on by every man and she wants to prove she is more than a pretty face. She crosses the lines she has drawn in the sand so many times. She end up more of a weak female character than a strong woman.
The characters are not interesting enough for this reader to want to continue you reading this series.
Author need to learn to find a blend in character development, romance, sex, and story without losing one of the major aspects of the story.
Thank you to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for the advance copy of Scarlett Cole Deep Cover (Love Over Duty #3)

Loved the most recent story in the Love Over Duty series! I’m glad I went back and read the first 2 in the series before reading this one, the story is a continuation of the first two and I would have been confused if I had just picked this one up to read it. I love all the alpha males and equally strong female counterparts, I love women that can stand up to their man! Plenty of heat for those that want it, to me it’s not a good romance unless it has some, but there’s also plenty of mystery/intrigue to keep you guessing what’s going to happen next. All in all I would recommend it, it’s a great read!

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Deep Cover is the third book in the Love over Duty series and even though I have not read any previous books in the series, I was able to follow the story and characters without a problem. Cabe and Amy are thrown together when they are assigned to an investigation centered around a missing person and possible human trafficking and money laundering. Cabe is an ex-Seal and founder of Eagle Security and Amy will forever be the FBI agent who ratted out her boss for sexual harassment. Cabe is also still grieving the death of his fiancé five years earlier. I liked the two of them together and I understand the need to prolong the development of the relationship and the trust issues they both have but it was a little too much. That being said, I did like them together and thought they were not the typical romance novel couple where the man is the hero and the woman needs saving. A good, entertaining read.

This is a very interesting story, and I recommend you read the books before this one in this series. I liked it but want to read the others first.
I was given this ARC to give a honest review

I would definitely read the previous books in this series so you understand all the tie ins to the previous books and the relationships between the characters. This book is about Cabe Moss, who is best friends and partners with the characters from the previous books. And Amy Murray, an FBI agent who is assigned to help Cabe with an undercover mission. Cabe is still trying to get over losing his fiance 2 years ago. On the one hand, he wants to move on and be happy, but on the other hand he feels guilty for leaving her behind. Amy is still trying to get over what happened in her previous office and is hoping to be treated with respect in her new office. They are both being sent in undercover but for different reasons. Cabe wants to catch his bad guy and Amy just wants to find the women that are going missing. Neither realize that they are after the same person. And neither realize just what they will mean to each other.
I really liked this book. Cabe is a man haunted by his past and he struggles with it daily. Even with knowing how much he wants what his friends have, it's still a hard thing to do when someone you loved so much is no longer there. Amy had such a hard time in her previous workplace that is makes her extremely cautious in her new office. Almost to the point that she could lose what could be the best thing that ever happened to her. And then when you throw them together on a mission and force them into close proximity? It just brings the story to life! It was great!

I liked this book. Cabe is hurting from losing the love of his life. She fit into his life perfectly and their future had been what they dreamed of. Amy is trying to leave the stigma of her last job behind as she moves to her new postition in the FBI. With her looks, most people don't take her seriously in her job. Beautiful women are meant to be ogled, not have a brain.
The two of them meet up and the sparks are instant. I liked that there was tension in their second meeting and that Cabe admitted to being a jerk. I also loved how protective he was. He knew she could take care of herself, but he still wanted to be there for her. Plenty of action, romance was hot, and I just really liked all the characters here.
4/5 for me. I'm going to look back into this author's backlist of books!
Thank you to the publisher for the review copy of this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.

This is a new to me author. Even though this is not the first book in the series, I had no problem keeping up with the characters and the plot. The story was very unique and likeable. Amy and Cabe were a delight to get to know are a perfect fit.

Missing women, money laundering, and chemical weapons.
Not to mention a sexy special agent of the FBI who collides with an equally sexy ex-Navy SEAL.
Suspenseful, steamy and worth a read.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough suspenseful romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

I have never read a book by Scarlett Cole before but I was very intrigued by the description of this book so thought I would give it a try. I really did enjoy this book and would recommend it to other readers. She has a very good writing style and kept the reader entertained and hooked on the story throughout. There was a bit of jumping around at the beginning that was sometimes hard to follow and a lot of bad guy characters to keep track of.
Basic synopsis of the book is that Amy, an FBI agent, is going undercover at a casino to help find women who have been disappearing. Cabe, a former Navy Seal and independent contractor, is also working this assignment but in order to find out a money laundering scheme through the same casino. Both are put on a joint task force to work together to complete their cases. Sparks are present between the two however both have past hurts that make it impossible to be together while they are working. Amy left her old FBI post due to sexual harassment and Cabe lost his fiancé to an IED; both are not ready for a relationship but neither can deny their attraction.
Of course the assignment is never simple and things get out of hand. It is up to Amy and Cabe to protect each other and solve the cases.
This book has a great storyline and I would definitely recommend. Only thing I found difficult was sometimes following the links between the bad guys in the books.

This story wraps up all the unanswered questions from the first two stoires. Loved how this one ended. Cabe finally finds happiness. All letters of the alphabet (CIA, FBI, HLS, and of course Eagle Security) have a mission to complete through working together to solve money laundering, Gambling without a license, and human trafficking. Gabe meets Amy while at a bar celebrating Jess's birthday - and feeling guilty that he is still alive, while she is 6 ft under. They had planned their life out together before she was killed on what was to be her last mission. Gabe accidentally bumps into Amy while at the same bar... sparks fly for both - but Gabe feels like he is unprepared for attempting to get wrth / date Amy. They later find out that they are assigned to the same mission - but must keep their prior meeting a secret from the FBI - due to Amy's past. I don;t want to give anymore of the plot away... well worth reading on a hot day/night.

Deep Cover is the third book in the Love Over Duty series by Scarlett Cole and it was another brilliant read.
Ms Cole keeps you on the edge of your seat with these romantic suspense books. I loved reading the story of Agent Amy Murray of the FBI and ex-Navy Seal Cabe Moss. They are tasked with working together to uncover a money laundering and missing women case and form an unlikely alliance that quickly turns into more.
Cabe is dealing with the tragic death of his fiancée when Amy comes into his life. There's something about him that attracts him from the very beginning. Amy has just transferred FBI offices after being sexually harassed by officers in her former office. She doesn't want the stigma that may come with forming a relationship with a senior officer so she needs to keep her distance from Cabe.
I loved reading how the relationship developed between these two characters. The suspense portion of the case that they're working on kept me turning the pages.
Definitely love this series!

I think I am going to stop with this book in this series and just for your information this is the third and I feel that you would be lost if you do not read first 2. Now I think some of you will find this book entertaining but I find this book chaotic too much going on, and the writer was jumping from one persons thoughts to the next yeah too combobulated for me..And I also found my self dragging while reading..

Enjoyed Cabe and Amy's story. This author is extremely talented weaving characters pasat and present experiences in to the story without distracting from the suspense. The camraderie and the support that the founders of Eagle Security give to each other is heartwarming and genuine.

2.5 stars for me. I preferred it from the previous one. The hero and heroin are more likable and understandable for me.
But somehow I didn’t really get into their adventure. Both the relation and the said suspense were so-so.

3.5 stars. One of the things I like best about Ms. Cole's stories is that she never goes in the typical direction with her plots. In this one, Cabe is still mourning the loss of his fiancé, Jess, who was killed several years prior. Thus, I figured the hiccup in the budding relationship between Cabe and Amy would be Cabe's reluctance to ever love again. And there are a couple of moments where he has those types of thoughts, but they are brief. He doesn't spend the whole book fighting his feelings, which I thought was a very refreshing take. This one did get a bit depressing for me, though, with Cabe's extensive memories of Jess; although it was touching at first, I started to skim those passages because they took me out of Cabe and Amy's story, which is what I wanted to focus on. Nonetheless, the story and the characters are realistic, and it is obvious that a lot of research went into the casino background of this one. The suspense aspect is interesting and brings the storyline that has been building since Book 1 to a tidy conclusion.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC for review.

Cabe is an ex Navy SEAL and a founding member of Eagle Security. He has worked his very cute butt off to get it off the ground with Six and Mac but he is ever overshadowed by the memory of his fiancée being killed whilst he was away on a mission. Jess was military like him and he just can't seem to shake her memory and what they lost.
Amy is an FBI agent who forever has the stigma of being the female agent who called time on her boss and his sexual misconduct. She doesn't think the stigma has followed her to her new posting but she can never rest on her laurels. She wants some fun before undertaking her new case and has a close call with a hunky stranger but he disappears as fast as he appeared! But now he pops up again...as one of the security specialists she has to work with. Putting aside her hurt feelings she has to deal with Cabe.
Cabe is superbly written as the sensitive soul mixed with Alpha bad-ass! He truly loved and mourned Jess and feels conflict over his emotions when Amy is involved. He feels like he is cheating on Jess, even when he knows that she is gone and would want him to be happy. Amy is trying to be super professional, not wanting anyone to come at her as being the girl who climbed the ladder by sleeping her way to the top.
I love that whilst the male characters may be physically strong, their female counterparts are equally as strong in other areas, whether in intellect or emotionally. I loved how everyone got sucked into the madness of Six wedding! Amy's family and friends from the world of gambling were just as fun and I enjoyed learning so much about the workings of a casino! What happens now?!?!?

Honestly, I was a bit torn when it came to rating this book.
On the one hand it is as amazing as every other book in this series. On the other hand, even though I really loved Cabe and Amy, their personal problems that threaten to keep them apart, felt a bit like a broken record.
Both of them are hung up in their past and their personal tragedies and feel threatened by their buddening romance despite the fact that both of them feel and acknowledge that they have something special there and want to make it happen. Nevertheless, they can't resist temptation and even risk their assignment because they can't stay apart.
This assignment, meaning the investigation dealing with missing women and potential human trafficking and money laundering, is important to both of them but they still risk Amy's and also Cabe's personal safety.
Okay, right, this is the "Love over Duty" series which means, well, that love rules, right? Well, common sense should also rule, I think. I loved the other books in this series as well, and, I must admit that I loved those even more. Somehow "Deep Cover" feels a bit rushed. The other two books felt a bit more intense and more straight. Nontheless, I also loved "Deep Cover", even when I was rolling my eyes at another woe-me-moment of our heroine or our hero because they are amazing characters and their chemistry is simply great. You get them, you feel why they belong together. Apart from their romance there is also this whole other part of the story, the investigation that captivated me right from the start.
Despite the points that I mentioned, I loved to read the book and would recommend it.
