Diana faces a tough challenge in infiltrating the MacPherson Clan. Yet, being one of the best agents for Time Weavers Inc has prepared her for anything. Well, at least she thought it had until she meets Torr MacPherson. Determined to find someone changing time and in turn affecting the future, Diana knows she can't afford to be distracted. Will Diana be able to complete her mission or will she lose the man she's falling in love with?

What do you get when you combine a sexy Highlander hero and a time-traveling heroine with plenty of determination to succeed in her mission? Well, the answer is an absolutely fascinating, exciting and captivating read that drew this reader in right from the beginning because the characters were fantastic, the dialogue entertaining and the plot fast-paced and filled with plenty of tension, emotion and tough obstacles for this couple to overcome. The way this story started had me liking the heroine immediately, as it's palpable her mission isn't going to be easy and she can't afford to be distracted. Will she succeed in finding the person she's after?

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main character back stories and everything these two go through on their journey to happy ever after since they have some seriously tough obstacles to overcome. Will Torr be able to handle what the heroine has been keeping from him? Will the hero give a relationship between them a chance, especially when one of them would have to give up a lot for the pair to be together? Moreover, the heroine is resilient, courageous and I liked how she challenges the hero because she doesn't fall for his charms as easily as the women in his time. I also liked the growing friendships she shares with various secondary characters and that she stands up for herself when it comes to people questioning her every move.

While the hero, he's been through quite a lot in his life and it's understandable why he doesn't do relationships. However, in saying that, I liked his determination to win the heroine over. Certainly, he has confidence in spades and can be quite charming. Will the hero be able to win Diana over? How long will it take for her to finally give in to the intense chemistry that exists between them? Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero was his loyalty to his family and those he believes he has a duty to protect. Will he be able to keep his people safe?

Overall, Ms. Post has delivered a wonderful read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was strong; the romance was hot and had me loving these two together, as the heroine knows what a bad idea getting involved with the hero is, but she gets involved anyway; and the ending left me completely satisfied with how these two come together again after their relationship goes awry. Will the hero be able to handle the decision he makes in order to be with the heroine? Will he be able to handle his new life? I would recommend On Highland Time by Lexi Post, if you enjoy Historical Romance, Time-Travel Romance or books by authors Jennifer Trethewey, Tamara Gill, Barbara Longley and Suzan Tisdale.

This a lovely story of a time traveler and a Highlander, who has lost most of his family to the way they have to live. The fighting with other clans and even between kings. Diana loves him but she has to make sure he dies on his appointed day., in order to straighten history Torr is the laird and he and one other brother are alive to fight for the clan. I really enjoyed the tale, the descriptions were great and set the stage. The characters were well developed. the plot while complicated was well written, and even paced. I loved the banter between them and the interactions with the other characters of the clan.

On Highland Time is a delightful time travel romance. A little different from others in this genre in that the female lead, Diana, is part of a top-secret organisation that sends travellers back in time to fix time glitches caused by another organisation (who also time travel) called disruptors. Disruptors make changes to history in order to change the future. Exactly why they do this, or how they choose whose life they will change in history, is unknown and not explored in any depth.

On Highland Time follows Diana who is sent back to secure the historical timeline by ensuring laird Torr dies upon the battlefield at the appointed time. A disruptor has saved him once, and the entire future of England and Europe has changed. Unfortunately, once Diana returns to early 14th century Scotland she finds herself falling in love with Torr and his people making her choose whether to save the people of the future or the people that she truly feels at home with for the first time in her life.

The writing is smooth and engaging. It took me a chapter or two to really get involved in the story, but once I did, I found it very addictive and a page-turner. The characters both primary and secondary were well developed, and it was easy to empathise with Diana as she struggled to make a decision.

Not to spoil anything, but I enjoyed the ending. Considering Torr’s personality and his fierce loyalty to his family and kin, his decision seemed natural. As did the sequence of events after his decision. By the end of the book I was utterly engrossed in the characters of both Torr and Diana, and it was easy to experience their heartbreak along with them. It was not an easy, straightforward resolution, and I found it suited the very essence of the story which was based on a single decision: the past or the future?

ON HIGHLAND TIME by Lexi Post is an intriguing and interesting Time Travel, Scottish Romance set in 1306 Scotland.  Interesting concept the "Time Weavers, Inc." group, Diana was sent back through time to find the culprit who changed history and set things back to rights. A minor clan chief, Torr,  must die in battle as he originally had, but can Diana allow that to happen? Will her feelings get in the way? Suspenseful,  sexy,  passionate, with a few twists and turns,  and a HEA, which leaves the concept of more to come.  Interesting characters. The storyline was unpredictable and intriguing to me. I can't wait to read more from Lexi Post.I received a complimentary copy,  however,  all opinions are my own.

I thought this would be a fun little bit to take on vacation-- romance! and time travel! But it's too full; there's also secret societies and other mentioned-but-not-explained mystical and magical powers. There is way too much going on to even be able to get into it.

Now this one was a bit different with intrigue woven in because of what Diana needed to do. Then there is Torr whom has a way with him and will capture your heart. This author will give a mission but you will be slowly pulled in and strung up because you want it aborted. the group itself is different with you getting into them with interest also. The drama will capture you with your heart filling up slowly with nose to the page to see where it all ends up.

Time Weavers Inc is a secret organisation with a team of time travellers. This installment goes from 21st century to 12th century Scottish Highlands.

Diana is one of the most disciplined travellers who considers the Time Weavers to be family after having lost her loved ones.

Torr is the Laird of the Montgomery clan and is a loyal supporter of Robert the Bruce who is currently under threats from the English Crown.

Diana's mission is to travel back in time to the 1300s to stop a Disruptor from changing the sequence of events during a battle. With her expertise, she blends in well, but it's difficult to adhere to all the rules as it's a small clan. Keeping her distance from clan members is proving to be difficult as they are a close knit and friendly bunch. She is quite taken by Torr and he is fascinated by her. As much as she tries to avoid him, interacting with him is rather impossible and they soon embark on a passionate affair. He doesn't believe in serious relationships as getting close to anyone only results in pain. She can't allow herself to fall in love as she has to return to the present time once her mission is accomplished. Can she allow him to meet his fate to complete her mission, or will her feelings get in the way? Either way, pain and sorrow are bound to follow.

I really enjoyed this take on time travelling. The events and sceneries are so vividly portrayed that I felt transported to the time and place. Torr is gentle, loyal and loving. Diana is kind and compassionate. The secondary characters are very well defined and it's nicely paced. The romance between Torr and Diana looks as though it's doomed from the start, but despite the difference in time, love triumphs. An innovative and compelling storyline.

I received an eARC and the views expressed are my own.

Diana Montgomery is an agent for Time Weavers Inc. Her task this time is to go back to
Scotland in the early 1300s and make sure that the time line is not "disrupted" . What she didn't bank on was the difficulty she would have in sticking to rule 5, (Don't make friends ).
Torr MacPherson is chief of his call after the deaths of mist of his family. He will make sure he doesn't lose anyone else he loves. The protection of his King and his clan are as all important to him now.
Our heroine has traveled in time before and never had a problem sticking to the rules and accomplishing her mission , but this one is much more difficult.
Our hero knows there is a traitor in his keep and there are only a few suspects.
A really good highland adventure with lots of humour, romance and some sexy scenes. I lived all the characters, especially our little Go Lucky.
Great fun, I can't wait for the next book in the series

On Highland Time by Lexi Post. This is Diana Montgomery and Torr MacPherson’s story.

Torr and Diana’s story is a great historical time travel book. The description of places and time periods made me feel as if I was there.

The chemistry and interactions between Torr and Diana were fantastic. I loved how I felt a connection to them.

I read very few historical books but I’m glad I gave this one a try. This story has hot chemistry and so many twists that brings everything together in a great ending.

FYI, contains mature content.

This is the first Scottish historical I have read from this author, and wow, yes, wow. Diana is a time agent and has to go back and put right a wrong, trouble is, she ends up falling for the person whose wrong has to be righted. That's all I'm saying, apart from this is really good and i couldn't put it down.

I received a copy from Netgalley and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

This story goes back and forth from today to the 1300s in Scotland. TWI Agency have the talent to go back in time and rectify past events to stop the future being disrupted. The problem was Diana fell in love with a highlander and didn't want him to die, how will the future change if she brings him home? An entertaining tale of romance in difficult times.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I am a sucker for time travel romances and this was an intriguing story with some mystery thrown in with the romance. Diana is the time traveler who goes back to "weave" the holes left in time by the Disruptors. Her mission this time is to go back to Scotland in the 1300's to make sure that a laird dies so Robert the Bruce becomes king.

For the first time, diana finds it hard to follow the rules and not make friends and even ends up falling for the laird, Torr. It is great to see her grow attached to Torr as she tries to figure out who the disruptor is that changed the events in history.

I did not see a way out for either Diana saving Torr and staying in the past or bringing him to her time so not surprised when Torr refused to stay and Diana took him back to his time with the agreement that he could not contact his clan.

Glad that things did work out and there was an alternative plan for them to have their HEA. Although, I really hope that there are more books coming as the last part of the book, was pretty mysterious! There was also no explanation of how Torr's older brother was still alive so I am really hoping that is explained at in another book!

4.5 Stars
On Highland Time by Lexi Post is the story of Diana Montgomery and Torr MacPherson.
This is a time travel romance so if you are like me I enjoy those books.
Diana works for Time Weavers, Inc where the agents can go back in time to correct mishaps that set the wrong history into motion. Diana is head back in time to correct a battle where Torr was to die. But what she didn't plan on was her feelings for him. Thorr was a large man but with a big heart and took Diana into his clan but he has sworn off taking anyone into his heart. But Torr is finding it hard to resist his growing feelings!

How can someone travel through time and change history? Well if you are Diana, a member of the Time Weavers, Inc, it is possible. Actually her group travels back in time to correct disruptions caused by another group who change time to the detriment. On such a mission Diana travels back to 1306 Scotland to find the culprit who changed the timeline and make sure a clan chief dies as history had written. But when she meets that clan chief Torr MacPheason, how can she let him die? Torr is a fierce warrior but has strong loyalty to his people and a kind heart. Falling in love with him was not on the agenda and how could she complete her mission if she let him live? An interesting story that will hold your interest to see what happens in the end.

This was an unusual take on the time travel theme to others I have read. Diana belongs to the Time Weavers who go back in time to stop another group called the Distruptors from altering history. Once I’d got this into my head I really found the story captivating. Torr MacPerson was the leader of his clan, strong and brave and protective of his people, and he was due to die in battle. However Diana comes to love Torr and she is doubting whether she can let him die. I didn’t know how this was going to end and there were some very emotional moments in the story. It was one I had to keep reading and hoping it had a happy ending. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my opinions.

This is my first time reading a time travel romance and I got to say I really enjoyed it. I loved books that are intertwined with history (more or less).

The story was beautifully paced and after you get the hang of all the rules of TWI you fall into it and I just couldn’t put it down.
I enjoyed all the alone moments between Diana and Torr. You could just feel how Torr manages to steal Diana’s heart peace by peace with all his actions and tenderness. And that is why my heart was breaking when he demanded to be taken back. But then it was put together again when he finally admitted to himself that he was in love with her and was willing to do whatever to get back to her even if it meant leaving behind everything he knows.

This is book one in the series and I’m looking forward to the next time travel to hit my Kindle :)

This book definitely feels like the start of a series, if only because of the amount of pages dedicated to explaining the TWA organization and its rules about time traveling. It was a little hard to get through all that but once I did I definitely enjoyed watching the romance between Diana and Torr MacPhearson grow. Diane's struggle between her time travel mission and her feelings for Torr was believable in that she didn't come to a conclusion quickly. Hopefully any further books in this series won't be quite so bogged down with world building explanations.
