I always enjoy these sneak peeks at what is coming up as I always find something that interest me. Didn’t see as many here as I figured there would be but found a few of interest.

Reading this out of curiosity was an absolute mistake. My TBR list is already overwhelmed and screaming for me to stop, but of course, I just ignored it and now I have a ton more books to be excited about.

This is so great! I love previews and the books AND then you can even request them on NetGalley. Wonderful option to have.

I requested this because it had some excerpts for some of my most anticipated 2018 books, such as Girls of Paper and Fire. I was also able to find some new books from this!

The Buzz Books 2018: Young Adult Fall/Winter has a lot of young adult books, including ebooks, coming out in Fall 2018 and Winter 2018-2019. I am excited to read some of the books that are listed in this ebook. I always look forward to a new Buzz Books. They have such a great range of samples from upcoming publications and include excerpts from some of my most anticipated reads as well as some I otherwise may not have heard of. I will be adding most of these to my list of books I need to read.

A great way to see what YA titles are coming up this autumn and winter. I'll be watching out for these titles to become available.

Buzz Books always manages to curate the best samples for upcoming YA releases, and this one is no different. I loved being able to read the first chapters of books I'm really looking forward to, as well as find some other releases I hadn't heard of.

Love the Publisher's Lunch Buzz Books lists - such a fantastic resource!! (Although maybe not from my TBR's perspective!!)

As always, I was excited to read the latest Buzz Books YA preview for the Fall/Winter. And, as always, there are many promising publications on the horizon that tackle the relevant societal issues --- mental health, school shootings, bullies, growing pains, and first loves.

I am particularly interested in three of the books that are featured with an excerpt in this edition of Buzz Books---That's Not What Happened by Kody Keplinger, The House of One Thousand Eyes by Michelle Barker, and When Elephants Fly by Nancy Richardson Fischer.

That's Not What Happened by Kody Keplinger is about a mass shooting at an American high school. Similar to one of the rumor's reported after the shooting at Columbine in 1999 -- one that is widely mistaken as fact still today -- a student has been made a martyr for having died while proclaiming her faith. The narrator is the student's best friend and knows that what is being said about her friend isn't true but isn't sure what she should do with that information. Which would be worse? Living with the guilt if she stays silent or suffering the consequences if she speaks up?

The House of One Thousand Eyes by Michelle Barker is about a young girl who is desperate to survive and find her missing uncle in repressive East Germany, circa early 1980s. From what I've read so far, Barker does an excellent job of explaining a confusing time in history in a way that is effortless to understand.

Once again a good assortment of books for review in this edition of Young Adult Fall/Winter 2018 . Thanks a Netgalley for the preview.

I found some titles that interested me so I used the information here to help me write a post about my anticipated reads for fall and winter. I enjoyed looking through the release dates of books and reading the chapter samples.

A couple titles that caught my eye were "When Elephants Fly," "Black Wings Beating," and "Queen of Air and Darkness".

My post will appear on my blog on August 1st. Once that's up I'll add the link to Netgalley.

I thought it was very helpful especially for librarians that are not too familiar with these authors. I feel like it is a quick easy way to find new materials coming out in the fall especially for someone that has never really had to search for things for their shelves.

These books are always great for reading up on the next new and notable titles. They always help me find new titles to add to my TBR and/or request for review for my blog.

There are some really good YA books coming out in fall/winter of this year! I am especially excited for the several YA Fantasy titles that were in this collection, namely Roshani Chokshi's The Gilded Wolves and Natasha Ngan's Girls of Paper and Fire.
