I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you NetGalley! This book was exactly what I needed for my Florida vacation! This was an easy read and I enjoyed all of the characters at one time or another (well minus Cressida!). I wanted to smack some of them at times also but I think that is what we are supposed to think. I also loved the descriptions of the setting in the book - I could very easily picture all of the houses, the beach, the restaurants, etc. and I always love that in a book. I recommend this to anyone wanting a good summer read that you don't have to take too seriously. There are some stressful situations in the story but nothing too over the top and I like the way everything works out in the end.

Amy Latimer and Hayley Franklin take summer jobs as nanny’s for wealthy families in the fictional town called Yorktide, on the southern coast of Maine near the Ogunquit. Both girls have very different summer experiences. As Amy and Hayley both discover strengths and weaknesses within themselves and their families, they also learn just how different some of the families vacationing on the Maine coast can be. The Summer Nanny is a wonderful summer read, with very well developed characters and descriptive family dynamics. This is another winner for Holly Chamberlin and a must for this years beach bag.

Since this book is not released yet, I am unable to publish my review on Amazon, however I will once able. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to read this early release of The Summer Nanny. I look forward to my next Net Galley book.

Highly recommended fun beach read. 2 best friends are nannies for 2 different families. Hayley has the cushy fun job. Amy, not so much,
Very fast paced plot. The book is all about loyalty and friendships

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

Excellent. Two young women experience more than "just another job" when they accept jobs as nannies over the summer. They both walk away, after totally different experiences, with a wisdom that changes them. A heartwarming story about friendship and community with a surprising depth which I enjoyed very much.

This book centers around two girls, Amy and Hayley, and their families. Amy & Hayley both get jobs as summer nannies. Hayley winds up with the perfect job and loves the family she works with. The only problem is, she has fallen in love with her employer's adult son. Amy gets what she thinks is the perfect job with a very successful and well-known female entrepreneur. The job, however, turns out to be much different than what was advertised.
I am a huge fan of this author's books, and this one was great as well. It had a great storyline, and there were characters that I loved and ones that I loved to hate. This will make a great beach read!

Not my cup of tea. I felt the characters were rather unlivable and it just didn’t move me. Seemed disjointed in motivation

This was a great book focused on friendships, family and lessons learned. I found the characters' stories to be very interesting. The plot is fast paced. A good summer read!

The Summer Nanny wasn't my favorite Holly Chamberlin read. This book follows two very different girls who work as nannies for two very different families. While I enjoyed the premise, I found the middle of the book to drag a bit. There were many points where I wanted to reach through the pages and shake most of the characters to get themselves together. The ending, while not surprising, was a satisfactory conclusion to the story.

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I'm a big fan of Holly Chamberlin's books, and this one does not disappoint. The Summer Nanny is a great read for this summer, and the setting certainly adds to the story. There are some great characters in the book, and the story has a satisfactory ending. Moral of the book....keep your friends and family close!

I was really excited to start this book because I happen to be a nanny. And I loved it. The Summer Nanny is everything a great beach read should be. The characters are interesting, and fun to read about. The plot is engrossing and fast paced, and its full of drama. The story pulled me in immediately, and I was captivated by these different work environments. I was desperate to know how their stories played out. Ultimately this is a story about family and friendship.

The Summer Nanny is a book about residents of Yorktide, Maine. The main characters are two young women who are employed as summer nannies for wealthy families. They have very different experiences: one is treated well and has doors opened for her due to the job; the other is basically a hired companion for a disturbed woman. Ultimately, each character matures and takes risks, learns to stand up for herself, and also seize the future with both hands. This would be a great beach read.

An easy read about 2 friends who get jobs as nannies for the summer, one for a nice family and the other to a not-so-nice family.
