So sweet and meaningful. What a wonderful book that means so many things to so many people. A truly inspiring read and one that will soar in the charts.

We walked the path of infertility and ultimately pregnancy loss for a long time before our sweet boys were safely in our arms. This book captures the tender struggle and determination of a bunny couple to find their miracle baby. If you are a parent struggling to explain your baby journey to an older child (this book would be too much for a toddler) it might help explain why a baby is so important. I hesitate to recommend this book as a gift for someone struggling with infertility that is very far in their journey. It might make their pain and challenges look insurmountable and feel a little glib. Early on in an infertility journey it just might be the encouragement someone needs!

In Miracle we meet a husband and wife rabbit who long to add to their family. Unfortunately, the journey is hard and a bunny is not guaranteed. The title of the book, though, does remind readers that a miracle will happen -- they will end up with a bunny all their own whom they treasure. At the close of the book we learn this somewhat mirrors the experience the author and his wife experienced.

My only caveat would be that, while this would be a meaningful book to gift to a couple who has welcomed their own "miracle" after a difficult journey, I suggest it shouldn't be given before then (when a couple is still in the uncertain, "will it ever happen for us?" stage).

Merle and Pearle the rabbit couple want a baby very, very badly, but are having trouble making one on their own. It's somewhat unclear whether they are finally able to conceive or if they adopt a baby rabbit, but they embark on quite a journey to finally get a tiny bunny of their own. The illustrations are lovely, even if the plot is a little confusing - and an adopted kiddo probably wouldn't notice, since the book's message is primarily about how happy Merle and Pearle are to have finally expanded their little family.

This book was nice. I enjoy the fact that it used animals to get the struggles some people have to overcome just to become parents. I feel like this could be helpful for a child whose parents are struggling for a sibling or even to explain to a child that they were the little miracle and that they're so special and loved. I definitely recommend it for the story and the art style is a nice soft touch that matches the emotion in my opinion.

This shot straight to my heart because my husband & I have had our own problems filling our nest.
I know what it's like to feel like everyone around me has a child or a baby or is pregnant - or all of the above. Months and years pass knowing that our dream is nearing its end.

I read this book through the first time and I was so moved. I read it through a second time and started crying. All the cute animations and the perfectly phrased sentences took me right back to all of those hopeless feelings and the wonderful amazing feelings when we finally did get our miracle.

Jason Pinter has created a beautiful tribute to his own nest.

I highly highly recommend this wonderful book to anyone but especially for those who have had their problems and been lucky enough to get their miracle. Share this with your own miracle(s) to show them how much you love them and how grateful you are that they finally came along.

Two rabbits fall in love, marry and want a family. But they can't. And they try everything, as show below, go to the deepest depths, the highest heights.

And in the end, they have their baby.

The thing is, this might be a good present for a child, to show how much their parents loved them, and what they went through, or perhaps a gift for a couple who finally are able to conceive.

But for everyone else, this is just not quite it. If you haven't struggled with getting pregnant, I don't think you will understand this book. And children might not get that this is supposed to be a reassuring book.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

Miracle is a very special picture book that is actually meant for adults. It sends a message of hope even when times are tough. The illustrations fill the book with meaning. Love this book for adults, not really meant for children.

The illustrations in this book are done very well and children will love them. The story content seemed a little strange to me for a children's book. I feel children won't understand it very well.

I think this may make a nice gift for someone who has been trying so hard to have a baby and finally succeeding. Other than that, I don't know if a little would care how it got here or understand. Illustrations were cute tho'.

Merle and Pearl fell in love the minute they met. After getting married and starting off their life together, they realized that they really wanted to expand their family. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to be lucky. But Merle and Pearl were not just going to give up - they tried and tried, because they really wanted a little miracle in their lives.

Miracle is a pleasantly illustrated book with wonderful rhymes, about the need to make a family. Our heroes don't give up even though it is hard for them, and that makes all the difference. Personally, I would have expected the couple to adopt in the end, thus transforming the story into a powerful, loving book about parenthood and adoption. However, the ending was still very pleasant and sweet, and the book overall happy and satisfying.
