when Bolt was Misadventures of a Superhero the book blew me away. It was the first one (book) I had actually read by Angel Payne. When I read the she was expanding of the book to make its own series esq serial I was thrilled because I just enjoyed Superhero so much. Now ive read Bolt Vol 1 with its new scenes and longer story line and I'm just mind boggled. Bolt has become one of my all time favorite book boyfriends AGAIN and the book one of my all time favorites AGAIN. I cant wait to see what will happen between Reece aka our electrifying BOLT and Emmalina the woman who can handle him lol.

This was different than what I am used to. Angel is a great writer. This story is well written. The characters are strong. Emma knows what she wAnts regArdless of her background. Reece is an enigma. He has history and really has know clue he is about to meet the woman he has waited for his whole life. Well I am pretty sure he wasn't waiting. Lol! Trust issues are huge for him and Emma is full of trust and good. This was written well. Super heroes are not my thing, but I read it anyways. Good and fast read. I wasn't disappointed.

Bolt by Angel Payne. Another great story that I highly enjoyed with the mix of sci-fi hotness blended with a super hero edge. Reece Richards son to a hotel empire lived his life on the edge, until one fateful night. Emmaline Crist tries to escapes her privage life by taking a job as a Customer Relations officer with a chain of hotels named Brocade. Then her path delivers her to meet her boss Reece and sparks literally fly. They try to start away from each other only to find he can stand to see her hurt. The sexual tension between them only is heightened by Emma's smarts humor and feistness continues to amaze Reece. Can't wait to see their story continue.

I liked Bolt, Smokin’ Superhero Reece and strong amazing Emmalina. The story is a well paced hot, sexy read and I look forward to reading more

Holy crap! How do I describe this book short of amazing?! Reece and Emma have such an electric bond! Emma is a woman out to prove she can do it on her own. She has such a strong presence it’s magnetic to read. Reece is living a double life. His secret side is threatening to overtake the not secret part. Emma brings out his electric side, and he struggles with how to cope with that. When they finally come together, it’s everything you’ll want and more. I loved this book. It was so bolttastic.

I love Angel and her writing style. And the fact that she brings us some SMOKING HOT heroes! Reece is definitely now on my list of top book-boyfriends!

Determined to atone for his selfish lifestyle, Reece takes on a dual personality and vows to pay back society by cleaning up the city, one bad guy at a times.

This is a fun, quick read with Angel's usual twist on the steam factor. I love the instant attraction between Reece and Emmalina. And what I love more is that where others in the hotel Reece runs think he's weird, Emma embraces it. I'm not usually a sci/fi fan, but I love Angel and knew that I would like this book.

I'm so excited that Angel is turning their story into a saga. I'm excited to see where she takes these two, and to see how they deal with everything thrown their way.

Wow this was steamy! Really interesting background story, I'd have liked to hear more about how 'Bolt' reacted to his change, loved the relationship between emmalina and Reece, will definitely buy the sequel

Bolt was an exciting read from the start, however I didn't connect with the characters like I usually do with Angel Payne books and i really wish the emotion was a little more intense.

This was a hot, hot, hot romance! I love superheros too and this was a terrific blend of superhero and romance.

When wealthy playboy Reece Richards is kidnapped by a conglomerate of scientists and is physically changed with a charge of electricity at his disposal, he begins to use his new abilities for good, saving locals from crime. His unresistable (pun intended) attraction to a new hire in his company has him using his sexual talents in creative new ways, which is much of the bulk of the somewhat short plot. As the first in the series, know you'll have to read the others to get answers to the why of his dilemma.

Bolt is a continuation of Misadventures of a Superhero. This is a sexy, irreverent, fun adult superhero tale. I cannot wait fir the next book.

Angel Payne ALWAYS can be counted on to be a great storyteller. I really enjoyed this book. I liked this book from the first page. Reece Richards is a billionaire playboy who has been kidnapped and experimented on and changed. He decides to do something good and turns into a secret super hero. Emmalina Crist is a newly hired hotel employee that Reece owns. These two have chemistry, heat and such a great rapport with each other. I try not to give too much away during a review, but give this a chance you won't regret it! I am looking forward to the story continuing. I received an ARC for my honest review.

As I started to read Bolt it seemed familiar . As I read further along it started to get even more familiar!! If you have read the novella Misadventures of a Superhero you have indeed been introduced to the characters , Reece Richards aka Bolt , heir to the family owned hotel chains Brocade and Emmalina Crist, woman of privilege and reservations desk night manager at the Brocade.
The moment they both met each other "sparks" flew.
This is the story of their budding romance. Can she stay with him once she finds out his kept secret?? Can she accept his " imperfections"?

This book was an ARC. I adored Reece and Emma the first time around and that still holds true. This story is so much fun you just keep reading to see what they will do next. Reece / Bolt our Business owner / Super Hero has his hands full with fighting the bad guys, running a towering hotel and trying to have a love life with Emmalina Crist. She is feisty and smart-mouthed but more importantly, she does not cringe or seem afraid of him one bit. Their banter is funny. Their swoony moments are adorable and their sexy scenes are so hot they could burn the pages. Finding a way to just be Reece and Emma is a challenge but they survive the trial with flying colors! Surprises happen they you don't see coming and I love how they are handled! I cannot wait to bury myself in the next installments. #AngelPayne #SuperHero #TeamBolt

If you are familiar with the Misadventures series then you know that you got a little tease of Reece (Bolt) in Misadventures with a Super Hero. Can I say how much I love that Angel Payne expanded upon it and gave us more sexy Reece. This is a hot and steamy with that touch of action. Reece, man I loved him. I loved seeing the changes from start to end in him. The change is all good. Emmalina is a strong and sweet. She brings out the best sides of Reece. You can't help but want to be drawn into the electrifying chemistry these two have. It's electrifying. I wish I could find my own super hero like Reece wink wink. I loved every minute of Bolt. I couldn't put it down. Such an original read. This makes me want to pick up more. If you're looking for a different read especially in the realm of Sci-Fi/fantasy romance then pick this one up. I really can't wait for Reece and Emmalina to come.

I need Bolted!! HOTTTTT! This book is electrifying!!! Everyone wants their own super hero! Emma got him!! I can't wait to see what part 4 brings!!!

I previously read Misadventures with a Superhero and I really liked it! I was sure I would enjoy this just as much! Emma works at a downtown LA hotel managed by the eccentric Reece Richards. They have off the charts sparks when these two meet from the get go!

Reece was kidnapped a little over a year ago and used as a science experiment of sorts. He now has the ability to harness and control electricity that flows through his body. He takes on LA's worst by fighting crime at night-wanting to die. He hasn't been able to come to terms with this gift. Emma knows that Reece is a good guy, she just has to make him believe it for himself!

Angel has expanded Misadventures with a Superhero and added so much more detail and story, thereby giving us Bolt! You will for sure want to read the expanded version! And better yet, there are even more adventures to come!

What a fun and super HOT read. Loved this booked. Emma and Reece are awesome together their chemistry is off the charts. Highly recommended, be prepared to be BOLTED!!!

If you have read misadventures of the Superhero then you have a bit more information about this character named Bolt. It is not necessary to read any previous books, just putting that out there. This is a completely stand alone book.
I really enjoyed this book so much more than Bolt's misadventure book, something was just missing from that story but this one had it all. Sexy, sweet and complex characters seem to come to life on the pages of this book. Oh my word when he put the electro balls in her, damn that was hot then when he removed them, that scene nearly melted my kindle!!! I love the direction this book is headed and the compassion the main characters have towards others at the end is heart warming.

This book reminded me of Deadpool. Superhero made by torture falls for a great woman and their relationship is fraught with danger and lots of sex. Great escapist fare
