I liked this book. wish each idea was a bit longer. I enjoyed each one and how she explained the scripture. Thanks netgalley for the advance copy the review is simply my opinion

Today God Wants You to Know.... You Are Blessed author Rae Simons has broken her book into 10 Parts. The first explains what a blessing is, the other nine are her categorization of different types of blessings (Spiritual, Material, from Nature, from Others in Our Lives, in the Midst of Trouble, on Our Families, Homes, and Work, of God's Presence, to Others, and of Eternal Life).

In each part, she cites several scriptures from the Bible and after each one, writes a short paragraph of her interpretation of the scripture. The readings are very short; in fact, extremely short. When I started reading, I wasn't impressed and planned to give the book 2 stars. She got me up to a 3 star due to her diligence in finding the scripture verses. As I continued to read, I couldn't help but react positively to the many referenced scriptures reiterating the message that God wants to be close to us, that he is ever-present with us, loves us unconditionally, and that we need not worry.
