This is my first book that I have read by Laura ward and I enjoyed it. This is the third book in the series and feel like it can be read as a standalone. Considering I haven’t read the first two books. Im going to have to go back and read them.

Daisy has a passion for cooking. She wants to be able to go to culinary school, there’s one downside though. Her parents don’t want her to go because they think that she’s to young. So, in trying to convince her parents that she I ready to go she stays home for a year in hopes to prove to them that she’s more than capable.

Jon is someone that is off limits to Daisy because he is her big brothers best friend they all grew up together. Daisy as also had a crush on Jon forever. When they become more than friends because of a deal that they make. I was happy because then they could finally be together and their feelings only become more intense and I loved every minute if it.

Something happened with Jon’s family and he movies into Daisy’s parents and there relationship becomes more special.

All in all I think that this is a great book and I need to go an read the first two in this series.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

I received this on net galley for a honest review.
I loved this book, it took a little to get used to the writing style at first but after a few chapters I was completely in love with this novel. I hated the mean girls and loved the family connection. This novel blew me away. I was expecting to not enjoy it due to mixed reviews but I overall gave it a 5/5 stars and highly recommend.

Super, sweet romance! Good writing with interesting characters, but definitely a typical summer-type romance. Quick, but tender, romantic read. Third in a series though of books I have not read yet but that did not really detract from this one which could be a standalone. THANKS for the ARC!!

This is my first read by Ms. Ward and won't be the last. Her writing flows perfectly, her characters are well developed and you want to be a part of her story. I'm going back to read the other two books and I can't wait for the next one in this wonderful series.

“Someday Soon” is the third in a saga named “Not Yet” (which only reminds me of the movie Gladiator) that was acquired through Netgalley. That's actually why I started with the third, a situation that I will solve quickly since after knowing these characters, and especially the Goldsmith's family and their friends, I will not be able to stop without devouring all the volumes. Although there are several siblings, this book follows the older brother. As it is usual in Julia Quinn’s series, the first book is about London, one of Dean's friends, who will be the protagonist of the second volume. In this third book we have a little more of Dean’s history and the story of his little sister Daisy.

I loved the family dynamics, and though I often find that thisoften ends up overlapping the novel, I don’t think it happened in this case.

Laura Ward writes quite simply, but snatches us with scenes between the protagonists, Jon and Daisy. Almost all the scenes are strong, not only due to the passion and love the couple share, but also the pain that both feel when things do not happen the best way. The scene of the family's discovery was one of those times when I didn't like Daisy's attitude toward everything and everyone. But I loved the next scene between sisters, which eventually overcame this discontent. The pre-wedding scene also seemed unlikely to me, once Jon was in a difficult position. Honestly, if it was me, from one side or the other, Iwouldn’t have attended the pre-wedding meeting and later dinner. But I loved all the speeches, both from the family and then from our passionate hero, which surprised me, as I’m not a big fan of sentimentality and long speeches. But after everything that happened, and even though I didn't know the story of Dean and Grace (which is mentioned and remembered throughout the book), I was able to read empathically everything that was said, almost as if I was a part of the Goldsmith’s.

According to what I perceived from the synopses and some references ,ihis story, as well asthe previous and following ones, , are not typically young novels, but deal with rather heavy and traumatizing themes which gives weight and meaning to a book full of romantic and sexual scenes.

What I liked the most was undoubtedly the chemistry between characters and all the parallel stories that emerge throughout the book, all of them with lots of love and captivating personalities. In Daisy's case, her low self-esteem is overvalued and overused by the author, who turns out to be a bit repetitive, especially when she describes all the other characters as thin and only being Daisy the "curvilinear."

In Jon's case we have the question of the problematic family and of forgiveness which was also interesting to read and adds that very bitter taste to such a sweet work.

Amy and Lizzie were fantastic, and once again here we have a double theme explored, which further sweetened this romance so dear.

I am also anxious to know more about the story of London and Emma, especially because I feel like it’s a story with which a deal with in real life, as I have friends who are a couple with a big age difference. As for Dean and Grace, I know I'm going to find a story based on a bad boy and a single mom, but the best thing will be to better understand the obstacles they had to face in order to be together.

I absolutely loved this story. If I could give it 10 stars I would. If you love a romance story with loveable characters than this one is for you! I immediately related to Daisy who is described in the book as curvy and she is bullied in high school because of it. Because of this she has low self-esteem and falling in love with her best friend helped her gain all the confidence she needed to succeed in life. But not without a few hiccups along the way! While reading this book I wished I was a Goldsmith. A very big family who you could just picture being warm and so loving.
This story is one that people need to read because everyday you read stories about being bullied because you look or talk different. This was a great read!!!

This was my first Laura Ward book, and I will gladly read some of her other work.

It was a sweet romance, A little to sweet for me, however, the writing was good, the characters were well developed. Overall an enjoyable, entertaining read for me. Jon was swoon worthy, however, not a strong enough lead male in my books. Daisy, was just a little too needy for me. They were both needy, glad the did grow through the story, but I prefer stronger characters.

I ask why I haven't read any of these book written by this author. Someday Soon is apart of a series, bu I had not read any of the previous books. I was unable to put the book down, constantly wanting to get to the end so I knew what happened. I am doing myself a favour and going to go and ready everything else this author has produced.

Someday Soon was a slow burn love story about two lost souls guided toward one another. Laura Ward let this one draw out in such a way that the emotional attachment grew greater and greater thru out the book. One of the best slow burn romance novels I have ever read.

I identified with Daisy in so many ways. She is shy and insecure and struggled to find her place in her family and the world. Her brothers best friend Jon became a good friend and confidant. Over time they supported each other and pushed each other to reach for their dreams. Because of an age difference they hide their growing feels from Daisy’s family and all hell breaks loose when they find out. Of course they each separately realize that they have fallen in love. Que grand gesture that was so well executed and a beautiful HEA.

It was a sweet romantic book. The characters were pretty typical of your may/December romance even though they wasn't really such an age difference.
