Falling in Love with Emma by Pam Binder is story of romance and fantasy rolled into one. Emma, the baker and Bjorn, the fisherman have been friends since childhood and can’t seem to ever move beyond that. Every time they try, it seems, one of them runs. Usually Bjorn suddenly goes to Alaska to fish. Now he’s back and there is a new business in the village. Matchmaker Café promises exciting fantasy adventures for its clients and are hosting a party on Valentine’s Day. Will Emma and Bjorn be convinced to attend and which fantasy will they choose?
There are lots of twists and turns in the story to keep the reader wanting more. I found it to be a quick read as I didn’t want to put it down until I finished it. I give this book 5 of5 stars. It is very well written and the village and characters are described so that I felt I knew them. The adventures have a magical touch and lots of action going on. I would like to read more by this author.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

I don't read time travel romances all the time but every now and then I do like to read one and this one was really good. Very different from any of the other books in this category that I have read. It was really well written with great characters that you cannot help but like and root for. A really interesting read I am looking forward to reading more from this series

It wasn't the couple I was most interested in. It was the people who run the Matchmaker Cafe, or whatever ours called. They steal the attention of reader. Maybe they were supposed to. It kinda set up a sequel or series about them.
